My boss's baby
We lost him a day after returning to Onitsha from the village.

I only have a picture 9f the little boy on my phone
The mum lost her phone just before he passed and she has no single picture of what her baby looked like again

I still scroll through my gallery and see his handsome face...The most composed 7months old baby I've seen all my life
That day I realised there's something more painful than inflicting wounds on someone.... HEARTBREAK

She was my secondary school classmate...

She died of bone cancer the year we finished secondary School....

I dunno why....
They could just told us....
At least I could have donated part of my bone......

Because today I still see myself as having no meaning in life.....
Life's just boring....
I just wish I died in place of all the good people that died.....
It's sad..... .

I just hate ...it......

It's well. Things like this makes me more determine to deepen my relationship with God. Several questions to ask the Father when I see him face to face. Cheers

Have u ever lost someone so dear to u that causes tears to roll down ur eyes each time u remember him or her?

Mine was David.
David was my classmate in JS 1. The most handsome, and one of those brilliant students in my class. David was loved by everyone in the class because of his childish nd joyous attitude. Though initially those attitude created enmity among the two of us our frndship started the day he saved me from being flogged by our nasty maths teacher who gave me a maths problem that I couldn't solve. Since that day we became great frnds nd we were always seen sitting next to each other in class nd working together during compound work. Our frndship was so serious that some teachers thought we were siblings. David was brilliant, selfless, handsome nd childish nd I loved him like a brother. In summary, David died the same week our exams was about starting. He was hit by a reckless lorry driver on his way to his dad's provisions shop. He died on the spot nd rumour has it that b4 he gave up the ghost he muttered the following words, "my dream of becoming a doctor has ended". And since then av always wanted to become a doctor 4 David but the Nigerian factor destroyed that dream. Till today I still remember my brilliant nd selfless frnd whose bright future was cut short by a drunk driver.

Pls I'm sorry 4 the long post nd some of the errors you'll notice. David died exactly on the 25th of April, that's why I brought up this topic. Pls share ur own.

Yes.The tears refused to stop flowing.Lost my wife to the cold hand of death through a fatal car crash. She died on the spot.July 18th 2019.

My dad ,he passed December 2011.I was right beside him when he passed.I was confused .He had prepared me for his death while he has on admission .He kept telling me he could hear a bell and someone wearing white cloth .He would wake me up at night in the hospital and ask me if I could hear the bell.Of course i could not. It was his time and God kept calling him gradually.

I did not cry that day at the hospital but the day he was buried I cried uncontrollably. I Stood at one spot until all the sand was poured over his grave. He remains the only man who has ever loved me unconditionally. And I miss him everyday .Ever since he passed Christmas has never meant anything to me again.

It's so touching but I wouldn't deny laughing when I saw the part that you wanted to be a doctor to live his dreams but Naija factor played a fast one.

TBH take a census among the science students in my school that year; 80% atleast wanted to be doctors.

Majority had brilliant O level results but JAMB plays a fast one. They are being expected to get 350/400 or thereabout.

Then when you manage to score it. They will expect you to bribe your way inside..

Naija is a place where 100 people will be given admission yet supplementary form will be bought by 50 000 applicants.

The worse of it was that i saw when life was slipping away from my mom that very day, she was crying, she asked me to touch her legs to know if she can still feel it..... I almost died that day so she could live, other patients were praying so she could live because they said they haven't seen a bond between a mother and daughter like that before cry cry... Finally, slipped away from her...

It's been 18 months now and i have refused to move on. Every 19th of each month, i completely shut off from the world so i can mourn her, i still want to have a moment with her to tell her everything that has happened since she left cry cry cry

O so sorry Sis.

I've shed some tears for you and all others here.

I think the worst thing for me is a person knowing him/her is dying and crying to stay alive. I'm broken for you Sis.

Death is indeed the worst enemy.

Too bad. Sorry about that.
But I can tell u that their deaths weren't normal

I thought that too.

Hope she didn't come from polygamous home and the other wives/wife want to take out the male competition so she/they can lay claim to it.

I lost my mum Aug. 2010. She was my everything. She slipped in the bathroom after going for her bath on 16th of July 2010. I heard her cry and rushed to the bathroom to help her. I had to carry her out cos she couldn't move her legs again. We took her to the general hospital. She had stroke from her waist down. I will leave work to go to the hospital to see her everywork day and weekends i was there too. I was her baby. Before then she was a very strong and healthy no ailments. So we were shocked that she had the stroke. We took her to various labs for testing as the general hospitals didnt have enough facilities for testing. Then one day after work i got to the hospital and was told she had gone into shock cos her bp was low and the stupid nurse over dose her with sugar. I cried but she came back and was placed on oxygen. My sister went to ask her how she wants to be buried because we were losing her.. But i kept on praying and fasting that she will come out alive. But one day after work. I went to the hospital and she told me i should let her go. I told her no. She must withness my marriage and see my children cos that has been her prayers for me. All my mum did was to nod. I left the hospital to go back home. Only to receive a call from a close family inquiring about my whereabouts. I told her i was home. Why the questions. She was trying to pass a message but couldn't so i asked her" is she gone. Is my mother dead". She told me yes. I cried i screamed. I couldnt sleep. I wanted the world to end. I woke up the next morning with my eyes red and swollen. I shouted at everyone i was uncontrollable. Even those who came to comfort me. I was too painful to me. She laboured but didnt wait to see me great. She denied herself so much yet... It will be 10 years of her passing unto greater glory. I will always miss her. Iyaami Abeni. Rest on .

I thought my mum's death was the worse in 2010.She was knocked down by a car.I bought a coffin. My dad died in 2017,prostrate cancer.I bought a coffin.I thought death had no sting on me again.July 18th 2019 my wife went on official assignment they had a fatal car crash. She alone died on the spot.It was too much to bear..someone else should buy the coffin.I refused to choose or buy a coffin....it's a horror am yet to wake up from.
