After the first world came to an end, many of the elements on the earth were picked away by the gods. Many earth elements, many fossils etc were taken away to make use of them in other planets. As a matter of facts, the gods (early beings) all left the earth with their gigantic structures, only the anakims and rephaims died. The remains of most of them were found by the early men of the homo sapiens era. They used their bones for many stuffs, including weapons, building, making fire, etc. So we should be having very scanty remnants of these beings left.
