Belonging to an ethic group or not is not something of choice, the ikweres might claim not to be Igbo's by choice, but they can't change history, the name Igbo will always be attached to ikwerre , ekpeye , ika ,anioma

Even if your claim is true, ibos cannot force them into Biafra

Valid points Amarabae, and please ignore the ignorant breed of Ipob idiots trying to institute their stupidity on these thread.

Personally as a proud Aro boy, I want and envisage an Igbo undiluted in the purity of its Igbo homogeneity and values. But let me posit two questions to you.

1. Where do you stand ethnic identity wise as an Asa girl, are you Igbo or not?

2. What do we do with the Ikwerre and others for example with Igbo names etc who commit all sorts of crimes, but are then tagged Igbos? do we have to keep paying for the sins of people with all the semblance of our culture yet don't identify with us? Major Nzeogwu some might claim wasn't an Igbo man, yet he masterminded a coup that Igbos suffered for, and are still suffering for till date. How do we address these issues? Cause I'm not going to let some people use Igbos to hide their crimes but deny been part of us, yet turn around when it suits them to claim "Anyi bu Ndi Igbo"

Grown ass man

See a grown ass man, you quickly launched a new moniker today to attack a woman on a faceless forum. You can't face her with your previous moniker.

Your own worst past Ojukwu and Kanu fa, at least it took a while before those ones dressed like a prostitute to escape from the mess they have caused..

Why your useless brother, ban my Ahoada moniker yesterday? Why una yoruba dey fear Eastern alliance?
Why una dey always play divide and rule for SESS because una dey fear 2023?

Why una dey always claim 'we ss' just to cause problem?
Before Nigeria, my people no sabi who be yoruba people. We no sabi una. Make una tench for una lane.

focus on your state and south east and leave Rivers state alone
nobody is attaching your SS to Biafra, kanu suggested a referendum ( thou we the pure Igbo's in the east are still opposing it) for the SS to decide,he never said you must join Biafra, I don't no where you guys come with the term attached by force......you don't need us and we don't need you guys either.

THE NAME IGBO BEING ATTACHED TO THESE GROUPS YOU MENTIONED - IS A PRIVILEGE WE WILL SOON WITHDRAW FROM THEM.

IGBOS NO LONGER WANT THEM TO KEEP USING OUR LANGUAGE IN THEIR ETHNICITY.

WE SERIOUSLY NO LONGER WANT TO IDENTIFY WITH THE IKWERES, THE EKPEYES, THE IKAS, THE ANIOMAS OR ANY OF THEM THAT IS OUTSIDE THE THE TRUE THE IGBO STATES.

FACT HAS SHOWN THAT THEY CAUSE US SO MUCH HARM THAN GOOD. THEY BENEFIT A LOT FROM US BUT WE BENEFIT NOTHING FROM THEM - ONLY INSULTS UPON INSULTS!

IT IS ENOUGH - LET EVERY MAN ANSWER HIS PAPA NAME!

Igbos please withdraw the so called privilege they don't want it cheesy

It is because many of you Igbos are too foolish. I never witnessed Kaduna trivals but today though I have many amazing n wonderful Igbo friends I schooled with I already built up negative mindset on Igbos I now encounter.

All because an Ijaw man lost election, the Ijaw was selected to be VP by a Yoruba man. It was this same Yoruba that protested to ensure he was made the president. No one complained about their choice when they supported but only Igbos want to have their head bxos they withdrew their support.

When the consequences of your relentless daily insult on the 2 tribes larger than yours start manifesting you'll cry victim forgetting you started it. Igbos shoukd know it is foolhardy for you to think your 8 years of daily relentless unprovoked insult will be of no consequences.

obiekunie2:

exactly!

in fact. it has been proven tht the so-called 'diluted' igbo-speaking parts are ACTUALLY THE ONES THAT HATES NDI IGBO THE MOST then followed by the IJAWS, THE OGONIS AND THE REST OF THEM EVIL PEOPLE THAT OCCUPY THE AREAS KNOWN AS SOUTH-SOUTH PART OF NIGERIA.

The Igbos major problem is their compassion - IF NOT, WHY WILL THEY WILLINGLY SUFFER FOR THE CRIME OF A MAN FROM SOUTH-SOUTH!

igbos have never been directly involved in the dis-tablisation of this country - but they are the ones that suffered most for the crime of SS!

CHUKWUMA KADUNA NZEOGWU IS A SOUTH-SOUTH MAN - AND UMU IGBO SUFFERED DEEPLY BECAUSE OF HIS AMBITION FOR POWER.

TODAY, HIS PEOPLE ARE BOLD TO CLAIM THAT THEY ARE NOT IGBOS! MAY DEVIL KEEP PUNISHING THEM TILL ETERNITY!

There is nothing of such. Crimes in Rivers are committed by Rivers state Dem fully known as cultist and kidnappers.

Wike is an Ikwerre man and Igbophobic like any of his fellow Ikwerre brothers.

So the statement shows the deep seated hatred an Ikwerre man have for an Igbo man
because he said its committed by Igbo's from anambra you are now encountering him,if he had said Igbo's from Enugu or ebonyi you would have believed him......afonja man.

Also, claiming Wike Changed the Name of a Federally Owned stadium, just to prove a point is below the belt.
Liberation Stadium was Built by the FG prior to Nigeria '99.

They reserve the right to name it as they please.
You don't have to lie to prove your point
You don't get her point do you? what she meant s this, that wike could have named the stadium after someone else other than Gowon if he was Igbo. Honestly these IPOB guys are bringing shame and insult to the Igbo nation

1, if you read my number one point, you will see where I stated that the only little affinity to Igbo cause in Rivers are from egbemas and asa NDOKIS because we have our people in the south east,
so Oriaku Amarachi is a proud Igbo Lolo who is looking forward to a restructured Nigeria or a homogenous Igbo only country.

2, my answer is simple, let them be and leave them alone.
you don't force yourself on people, you allow the people as a whole to come.
Igbo identity should not be trampled by Igbos just to please these minorities

Referendum will solve this matter, Rivers State is part of Biafra until they decide to pull out through voting.

Ikwerre, Oyibos, Etches, Ndokis, Elemes and Ekpeyes are Igbo people in Rivers state while in Delta State, Anioma, Ika and Igbanke in Edo State are also Igbo people. The can deny their Igbo heritage due to Nigeria politics but they know that they are Igbos because they bear Igbo names, speak Igbo and practice Igbo culture.

Thanks for your much anticipated response.

So it's established you're at least aware and proud of your Igbo heritage.

As for the Igbo name bearers who are evidently not Igbos, I personally don't care about them tbh. I wish them all the best in their pursuits of happiness. Where I have a problem however is that the Igbos are tired of been at the receiving end of their "Bleep up's", no be tomorrow one Emeka Wigwe from Ikwerre will commit one type of crime that will headline global papers, and the tribal warriors will then tag him Igbo just to mock us.
