Beautyaddy:What is this clown saying? You don't know president and governors have immunity when they are in power? They can't be persecuted. Am I the one that wrote the Constitution? Or you think because I stated the obvious fact, it means I'm in support of what wike did? I'm not in support of what wike did but there is nothing you and me can do since he is still Governor. Go enlighten yourself before coming here to lay your ignorance bare in public! |

coins501:Exactly. There should always be a solid reason to demolish properties. Disaster management requires fining or arresting, and community services or jail terms, with heavier fines or longer jail terms for repeat offenses. Demolition exists only in property-related Acts or laws, not in disaster management. What concerns properties with disaster management? |

It is not nice to demolish someone's building even the person kills. It has to be done in a lawful way. Let the person be arrested and taken to court for judgement. |

He doesn't need to explain anything . . .he has chosen his path . . .now let's see where it leads him . . .even in countries where lock down orders are in place . . people who traveled there and are stranded are lodged in hotels . . .if there are no hotels where would such people put up? most of those peope being evacuated by their governments are mostly stranded individuals who traveled for one reason or the other but unable to go back due to border closures that is where hotel accomodations are required. |

Theboss100:What you dont understand is that no amount of excuse can justify his action. You cannot be the legislature, judiciary and executive all at once. Imagine you citing executive orders as if we're in a military regime. And by the way, what we are talking about is the demolition of the structure. |

A times you shouldn't make a decision when you are angry. Instead of destroying those hotel's, he can turn those hotel's to isolation center for infected covid 19 |

The action by Governor Wike is too much, there are other severe punishment he should have given to the hotels instead of demolishing them. |

festacman:I don't know you sir but your comments are always intriguing and constructive. I really admire that side of you. Mind if you give me a heads-up on how to improve my vocabs |
| Re: Wike: Why I Demolished Two Hotels In Rivers State (Video) by festacman(m): 12:46am On May 12, 2020 |
UrVillagePpl:1. Create time to read widely and willingly. I am not talking about expensive books but reports and analytical articles on the websites of local and foreign newspaper written by professionals. Through this, you can build up your vocabs and expressions gradually well as learn writing styles over time. If you don't have reading stamina, forget it. If you can't read with deep interest, appreciating arguments and language in write-ups, forget it. 2. Write, write and write things, trying to sound logical, analytical and informative. Don't try to infuse unnecessary vocabs or expressions at the beginning of your journey. Keep your writings simple but logically delivered. For example, if you want to write a new post or a comment on Nairaland, don't just quickly scribble something funny to get likes. Book a space. Write your comment and read over it to be sure it conveys intended message. Make necessary corrections and post. Over time as you read widely, you found yourself dropping fitting vocabs and expressions which your brain picked as you read other write-ups. However, let me confess that apart from above, I have natural writing talent, which of course makes things a lot easier. Stay safe. You need to be alive to write. |

. Even if any such law was passed , prescribing demolition of property as the punishment is unconstitutional and I'm sure you know the constitution is supreme, two wrongs don't make a right my brother.
.God bless you
