Hello everyone I just want someone to advice me I'm planning on going 2 the uk for my masters though i studied an education course but i finished with a 2.1 I'm planning of applying for computer science for my masters
1. Is it possible?
2. Can I also be working as a student?
3. Computer science in the UK how profitable is it?
Thanks for your advice
As an Education graduate, You can come to UK with another visa route tier 2 work visa and not necessarily student visa. Quite stressful but it's better than tier 4 visa .

MSc Biomedical Sciences and I’m already working with NHS

Was gonna go into teaching Cus I love teaching and I see some opportunities there for me

Yes, it's very possible. Most especially at the college level,I cant encourage high school level because college is a good way to start your teaching career based on your Biomedical science discipline.

Okay..it would have been a good option if you are married and have a wife who can apply for the tier 4 student Visa, while you apply for dependant and work out your UK teaching licence here.

Another option is ONLY if you are still interested in Education discpline,
Please try and look for any aspect of economics for your MSc to get the tier 4 student visa, come over here and start any available job.
Then apply to get the UK teaching licence, and start applying to high schools, let them know your 20 hours work limit, and tell them you can work full time during your holiday. After few months of working with them, if you are satisfied with the working environment, request that the school should help change your tier 4 to tier 2 work Visa so as to stay longer with them.

If you are good, Your principal or school head will be happy to take your matter up to the local council for tier 2 consideration because your salary is already above the threshold and that's all.

Yes oh. Children have full confidence and boldness here. They will always tell you their right and any small thing is abuse. You don't touch or beat or even raise your voice against them. Their play is always scary , Best is just to overlook most things, go to class, teach them and leave the school at the closing time.

Serious, it's quite difficult to decide for maths. Both degrees didnt actually add up except doing a PGCE in Maths.

Good evening to you all, I thought we're meant to pay up to 50% of our tuition fees before getting CAS, I've been seeing people here on nairaland saying their prospective schools are saying they should pay 3k deposit first, Is it that their full tuition fees is 6k or something M

Someone years back it used to be up to 50% but now the unis decide how much deposit they require.

I guess it’s all to do with making it easier for people and to attract more international students

Yes, it is possible. Maths is subdivided into different part. So Numeracy should be under statistics. Some OFSTED highly rated schools employed teachers that are well trained in this particular field to handle this part for their students.
