The assault wasn't on at the time she gave him the "hot bath", as such it cannot be classified as self-defence.

Had she done the deed whilst he was attacking her, then it would have stood the chance of being admissible as "self-defence". But as you can see from the story, he was already asleep at the time that she did what she did.


Just call it what it is or was. It was outright vengeance. The mosaic way. Only she took it a step further by extracting two eyes for one plucked out, which is still welcome.

At the end, rough justice is still justice all the same. smiley
