That's the most painful thing bro. A friend of mine was on transit from Naija to Gambia. They had a stop over in Ghana and he was in a conversation with a foreigner. "Where are you from?" The guy asked. "From Nigeria" my guy replied. "You guys are smart" the guy said and took a purse. "But.., you are crooks" he added. My guy felt bad. But nothing he could say to convince him.

I repeated, "Are you positive of HIV?" . she was perplexed. "No! I am not, why ask that?" She asked. "Well, the fact that Aids is rampant in South Africa, does not mean every South African is HIV positive" I said. And Immediately she got the message. Then I went ahead and showed her my portfolio that I had beside me. "That's what I do for a living". And since that day, we related well before I left the hotel.
