Boss,

Are yousayingstick oric will retest or even go lower that the Marchlow? Pls clarify. [quote author=RabbiDoracle post=91381047]

Developing a strategy is very important. Not constant checking of the market.

If you invest for cashflow, you will be collecting free money especially when market is down. Once there is mispricing, you drop the stock like hot potatoes. As in, you sell brutally.

Most of us will collect our cashflow in banks now that they will release their half year 2020 results. Why? Because market has not mispriced our stocks. Once they misprice it, we will boldly call a sell and sell our portfolio to the last because we know that prices will fall below the price we bought.

Your information is incomplete.
Is it 10% per day/week/month/year?[/quote

Interest rate is yearly and negotiable depending on the volume of your amount.

Una funny for this place no be small, na on top Tesla head una come now.

Last time I checked, having a high or low P/E is to classify a stock as either growth or stable. So the higher the more explosive growth potential.

Tesla just needs to report a profit in q2 and it would be eligible for s&p addition. They'll meet it because they beat their q2 delivery estimate. Even if they miss, there is still q3 to report a profit. Anything that will make Tesla fall will sink the whole market. Institutions and insiders hold about 80% of the stock, expect the current holders to increase their holdings and more institution to join once it joins the s&p.

I beg make una go look the list of holders, those ones don't sell no matter what. Uncle say na crypto investors invest for Tesla.

If una sure, make una put una money where una mouth dey by short-selling na.

We will all be here na.

It is far easier to hold Tesla than for me to short-sell it because of the losses I will incur based on the said people I mentioned, people who hold Tesla? Can you mention them let us hear and show us their other financial investment success?

There is a proven fact, and it’s that people who ignore basic accounting principles pay dearly for it. At least those left holding the Kaya.

You say growth stock? What is Apple and Co? Last I checked Apple had a dividend yield of like 1%, with a P/E ratio of 28.

Which profit are we even talking about sef? Lol. What will the profit do for the accumulated issues in the financial statement?

Even if the holders are institutions, some people sold from 968 to 350 during February to March 2020 panic sale. This was 63.8% loss.

This isn't the time to short global stocks. Once all charts align globally and present a bubble, stocks will fall.

Northeastern point about growth stock is that investors have priced the company many multiples ahead of its current earnings and are holding the stock at such prices such that once earnings increase significantly, that will reduce the PE from the current high value you stated to a lower value.

But my dear, all those things na HOPE.

I didn't say this o. Na Meshpips and Chibuking81 talk so.

I'm 100% in stocks and still viewing global events and charts.

It is those events that will tell the direction everything will be headed in the short to medium term.

Tesla is still a company that has debt and can fail if push comes to shove. There is a reason Warren Buffet is still there and people like “Masayoshi Son“ of Soft Bank is now seen as a pariah.

Why? Look at his recent calls especially the problems with WeWork.

Ignore basic accounting principles at your own peril. Tesla has a P/E ratio of over 7,000 at it’s current price. I don’t need to talk about anything else...

Apple has a P/E ratio of 28.

Also majority who invest in Tesla, many of them invest in crypt0 too, majorly retail investors who are geeks and like cool things and to them an Electric car is a cool thing, but the accounting of it is not. I like Elon Musk, but Tesla stock has a high chance of ending in tears for many.

Short sellers have been talking about Tesla right from time that it would fall for years, and most are millions of dollars in debt. Elon Musk even tweeted that the share price of Tesla is too high, I believe investors are pricing in the future potential of Tesla tho, it’s a whole new industry and also fear of missing out is also playing a role. This is why Tesla stock is unlikely to fall.

Be specific, I talk of bonaza period which we are inside already. grin grin cheesy
Stocks will lower their price this period, while Some stocks will within this period see their 52 weeks low, but not all. Stocks like Caverton and Guinness has saw that already and Eterna will likely join them within this week.

Happy bonanza offer, as we pick wisely.

A foolish man thinks he will invest when he gets rich. A wise man knows that only by investing can he get rich. You explain to them that they must invest, they angrily say ‘how can I invest from my little’. Dont worry. You‘ll remain little forever!

Why buying at #15.7 when you can possibly enter at #14+ even sub #14 within this month and next?
Only be patient, market is just doing one step forward and two step backward, at two, three ,etc step backward you can buy.

Last week I mentioned sub 15 when Zee was selling for 16+......Where were you when it sold for 14.80?
Just follow your mind and buy at your convenient junction cos no one can time Mr. market.
As for GTB, Sub 20 bargain will be okay........but as you know, no one can adequately predict the market, so you can be buying in tranches.....since the board is considering interim dividend, only that we don't know if it will be up to last year own, considering the fact that Q1 was flat.

The obvious reason the NSE is not responding to the long awaited bull is because there is no cash-backed stimulus package pumped into the system from the government in Nigeria unlike those of the US and EU that have seen those piles of cash find their way to their respective markets.

Best thing is to keep searching for and buying the dip in the best dividend paying consistent powerhouses for long term rewards until whatever stimulates our market to wake up from this slumber.

Megawealth, if you look closely at GTB table for the past 1hr+, you'll see the kind of thin volume lined up from 20.85 to around 19...
Though there were high volumes traded earlier and well above 21 but slowly it started coming down.........lots of uncertainty and double-mindedness on the part of retail bargainers.....
I'll add this, like my ogas used to advise, know what you're buying into. Sometimes you have to close eyes to daily price movement.
Having said this, do your DD and follow your mind

What is your plan? Do you want to trade or invest? Will it be short, medium or long term? Let all of these always accompany your questions. This will allow people to give you good advice.

GTB will likely visit #19 this week and Zenith probably #13+ to find support at #14.

Oga Chibu, GTB and Zenith may surprise us, they may want to dip hands in their reserve to compensate investors........only that long term effect of this might not be palatable if economy doesnt pick up on time for them to cover it.

Zenith getting to 13 or so will be highly dependent on how disappointed the shareholders may be if interim is not up to expectation.
This is just my opinion. I may be wrong.
Whosoever is buying should buy fundamentals and be ready to average down should price go lower.

If Compounded Interest

1,044,000 = 780,000 × (1 + X)^3

X% = ((1,044,000÷780,000)^(1÷3))−1 = 10.2% p.a

If Simple interest

Y% = ((1,044,000 - 780,000) ÷ 780,000) ÷ 3 = 11.28 % p.a

This will likely happen before dividend declaration, rising and falling of Zenith most time don't depend on whether interim or final, the even at times fall when they declare good dividend. The reality on the ground will likely bring them soon to #13 junction.

Companies has up to 2 months to announce their H1 result, most result will be come out by next month of August, Zenith result will likely come out by month of August. So this month and next month are months of uncertainty.
