I am a Female Private School Teacher in Lagos and i am currently into prostitution simply to make ends meet. I am not ashamed as it is better than stealing or begging.

In this troubled time, as a total man, you ought to have structured your life in such as way that you would not have to wait for any salary. You have a phone, it is more powerful than the the 1st space ship

There are lots of simple skills you can do with your phone and make money. I am a salary earner too, but I don't even have to wait for that.

Though not directly employed by schools, our company is contracted to teach tech courses to schools.
Despite not getting paid for a couple of months, lockdown has been a blessing for me. I've learnt so much during this period and I'm confident of my chances to get into the tech industry proper.

I know a few who have been calling me constantly for money.

GOD was so kind to me to get a federal government job before the shut down of schools.

Before then,I was a private school teacher teaching mathematics in Sokoto state.

You never see alert you don dey give thanks.How are you sure you will be paid when the same president promised to pay health workers insurance,Hazzard allowances and even palliatives but didn't fulfilled his promise up till now.

I for don die or run away if not for palm oil business wey I dey do join teaching before . At least , I'm getting something to keep body and soul together with 3 children . It isn't a good thing putting one's eggs in one basket . Private school job isn't a job . I will soon dump it totally by God's Grace . Can you imagine that the owner of the school still owe me February salary . I wrote the school concerning that 2 weeks ago , till now , no response .

Some of these guys are now into private home tutorials and they get paid.... My kids are taught by a private school teacher and she is a very hardworking teacher

It actually depends on the area.
Some places like where I live don't actually appreciate and value home teaching like that. I tried it in April, intact half of the payment is still outside till now.
I don beg them tire but still nothing is forthcoming. Nobody told me before I stopped.

God knows it hasn't been good for me, in fact, I've tried searching for jobs but non is forthcoming, only promises...

now sef, I can't boast of 1k.... it's that bad.

if not that I'm a ss, I would have been doing hard jobs, but my health won't let me.

I am also good with COREL DRAW design

Shortly after service, my friend wanted us both to become private school teachers. Said all manner of juicy stuff about how pensionable his job was.
I was actually fascinated to see his home and how lovely it looked. Then, I was only broke, depressed and stayed with my parents. I regretted not joining him.
But when I took into business, i realized how quickly I caught up with him. It wasn't a competition for me but I noticed how i achieved in 2yrs what he achieved in 5yrs. Then, i knew how making money can be easy without this teaching stress.
I never regrets my decision to not teach despite the pay.
Those in the formal sector have no idea how easy it is to make hundreds of thousands within a month in the informal sector.

You think his job is more stressful than his.
Do you know how he sees your biz?
He may see it as the most stressful thing one can do and he may never wish to do that kind of biz u are doing.

around 10:15am today....i heard a voice of a kid in my neighborhood.

She was like, gbe le gbe le /bell sound/ and the next thing I heard was ''break is over''

Children miss school dearly now.

3rd term is is almost over
