with the situation i am in now,i prefer my husband to be richer than me.

i take care of the family but anyday i receive 500 naira from him to support the family,i dance as if i won one milion naira.

i wish GOD can make me jobless and give my husband a good job.

It's more an indictment on the women than the men who commented. I go on foreign forums like Reddit and I see the females on there don't shy away from questions thrown to females.
But Naija women are so shy and painfully reserved that one would think they're dumbos, or perhaps pretenders.

So it's on the women for not speaking out, not the men. If you can't speak for yourself, someone else will. For instance, yourself, you didn't even answer the question.

I just don't know why majority of women like playing the servile party to be serviced in a relationship, thus making them helplessly susceptible to the whim and caprice of their husband who might wake up one morning and decide he wants out(or he's in in love with another woman), consequently displacing the woman in the murky water of privation and suffering, since her survival is anchored on the husband(just like what happened to a church member of mine).

If i happen to be a woman, I'll never predicate my future on the goodwill of a husband or any human being whatsoever - I hate being under the mercy of anybody. Cos, human behaviour and desire will always be mutable, no matter how hard we try to play the ostrich.

Women should strive to build themselves, that way, their husbands will respect them more, and they wouldn't be at the mercy of anybody.

Marriage is like employer - employee relationship. Telling the employee to strive hard in other to be independent from the employer is literally telling the employee to strive hard to be successful, to leave his employer, and get her own employee.

In the same vain, telling women to strive hard to be financially independent is telling them to be successful, breakout from their husband and marry a new simp. I doubt if most women want to walk that part.
