That's not true. Men are actually treated better than women in almost all spheres of live and especially in NL comment section.

You're right. My dad is about 6.2ft my mum is 4.7ft i their child is currently 4.9ft at 18 yrs. All of my siblings are short none of us reach 5.5ft. My dad families are tall including his mum but my mother side the males are worst (simply they are dwarfs to me)

Nutrition plays a big role in determining how tall people will grow. That is why Nigerians that were born abroad are relatively taller than those that grew up in Nigeria. Similarly, awareness about nutrition is a recent development in Nigeria, that is why people that were born in the 80's and earlier are way shorter than those that were born in the 90's and above. I know of a couple who are both short but they knew the importance of protein to kids. The woman was always cooking beans and all their children were average height. I'm average height at 5"7 but my kid brothers who were born much later are tall.

Op, you shouldn't marry a short woman at all. It has lots of disadvantages both physical and psychological. Aside the risk of having short children, people will want to overlook or even disregard you as a couple. When you're having argument with outsiders, they will be tempted to go physical on you and your wife because you two will appear small

I'm 5"7 and my wife is 5"8 but I feel like I'm 6" whenever we are together because we appear imposing somewhat but if I had married someone who is say 5"1, it would be different.

Just move on to the next lady, no matter who a man is some lady somewhere will still turn him down. Tall rich guys are rejected too. Don't let anyone talk you down whether male or female.
