When people say things like the richest Nigerians live in Nigeria, I ask them how many of the average Nigerians eventually get to be part of those 'richest' ones? It's like a circle that revolves around itself, few can break in. Where would the average Nigerian get the opportunity, job, contract etc that would make them break into that circle of the rich? If those of us that japa have the political or social wherewithal, we probably would stay...but since we dont and we would not involve ourselves in crime to get in, we left for places where we have fairly equal playing field to be the best we can be.

Most people forget that some of this countries have gone thru very tough times before they got to where they are,do u know how Germany was after the 2nd war,they rose up to build their economy.you think they are happy to see foreigners come to enjoy what they laboured for.The bond in EU is very strong,Africans are not United,we complain of Nigeria,we ar yet to see other African countries .the western world are happy to see Africa underdeveloped, and African youth migrating to do odd jobs in europe and America,.no place like home ,make money and go back to develop your country.the sacrifice we make today is for our children not to be slaves to western world tomorrow

You see, I know that I have a strong connection with my home...that's why I may not be able to live elsewhere.

I think you people tend to lay emphasis on the positive aspects of living in the advanced countries while you downplay the downsides.

Sincerely, I love this country, and I don't want to live in a place where someone will have to constantly disrespect me because of my skin color or how our leaders have messed up our country.

I want to carry a passport that immigration officers from around the world would have some regards for.

If we all run away from this country, who will fix it? The place we are all running to, some people sacrificed their blood, time, resources and sweat to make it the envy of all.

Like I always tell people, the richest Nigerians live in Nigeria.

Why is everyone saying Kuwait? Are there jobs for immigrants there? How is the standard of living? Do they have a social life?
Moreover countries like Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia are not suitable for single ladies.
