After like 30 minutes, one of my babe's worker decided to wake him to leave so that other customers could make use of his chair as everywhere was filled up. She raised the alarm when she tried to wake him and he was not responding. The guy was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Two hours later, my Girlfriend's restaurant was raided by the police on the suspicion that he poisoned the guy. All the food she cooked that day were seized and taken away for testing. And she and her workers have been in jail since and all efforts to see her has been unsuccessful. They won't let me see her and they won't tell me the results of their investigations so far.

I just don't know what to do. The food they claimed was poisoned was served to others and no one complained of even stomach pains not to speak of dying. I even ate from the food earlier that morning.

The way the whole case is going is so confusing and murky and it seems the guys family are well of and they are looking for someone to blame, innocent or not.

Nigerian police lacks understanding your babe shouldn't be arrested in any way she should be only called for questioning..
Get a lawyer or a human rights activist because if not they might toture her to stupor or even get her jailed pls do something very urgently

Also one possible scenario is to torture and out words in her mouth to confess to poisoning the deceased.

Get a good lawyer asap and ask your gf to desist from saying a word to the police going forward.

A quick autopsy ll resolve the case on ground.

I wonder when the police will start acting like we are in the 21st century. Rather than carry out an autopsy, you arrest an entire restaurant.

Lawyer. This is the easiest case to win even thou Nigeria is a barbaric country. There is somtin called *common sense* which a judge has. This case has nothing to do wit politics or senator. All the lawyer simply needs to say in court is *ask them to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the guy was poisoned * I bet u on any amount they they cannot & the case will be thrown away. He can represent him sef in court even if he cannot afford a legal.
Best thing to do if he cannot afford a lawyer is *seek legal advise & hear wot the lawyer will say*

It's very unfortunate situation and I pray for a way out for quickly for . but see ehn we can't seem get anything right I mean Nothing ! In working societies, all it take is diligent investigations. It is normal for her to be the price suspect since the decease died at her store after eating her meal but an autopsy would have saved everyone the trauma even if it was poison that killed him it will still determine what time he took what killed the guy but trust 9ja lazy police theirs is to collect money and pronounce the innocents guilty .

Well the Policemen are actually within their rights, just know that they cannot keep them (Babe and workers) beyond 48 hours, else, that's one plus for them.

Do these things ASAP:
- Contact that friend you know would stick closer than a brother. You'll need him/her now.
- Get a good Lawyer (be prepared to spend MONEY in these things), too bad.
- Apply to bail them all on a BOND (no payment required)
- Petition the State Commissioner of Police to transfer the case to the State CID.
- Get a Court injunction to order a Coroner's report (autopsy) and Food lab test on the meals.
- Get a list of witnesses, lots and lots of witnesses.
- If the restaurant has CCTVs, now is the time to keep those files safe, very safe, that's if the crime scene hasn't been barricaded by now.
- Get a court's injunction to get a medical history on the deceased (if he visited any hospital or Pharmacist).
- With a JP, engage the family of the deceased, their help would go a long way.
- My Brother, contact EVERY Christian or Moslem you know to fast and pray for this matter, our system is so poor and requires divine intervention 100% of the time.
- In all these, please remain very very calm, know that this too shall pass.

The story is a bitter one but do not allow the police to pin this crime on her all because of money. Try to call on people that matters even on facebook and human rights activists to help u look into this matter.
