Assumptions? Far from that.

Are you aware that Moses foretold the coming of Jesus as a prophet, just like how he[Moses] was one?
Please read Deuteronomy 18:15,18 and compare with Luke 7:16, John 7:40, Acts 3:22

Moses went on a 40-day sojourn on Mount Sinai(Exodus 34:28) where he got the Ten Commandments from Jehovah's angel(Galatians 3:19)/Jesus remained in the wilderness for 40days and 40nights and it's likely that he got instructions from Jehovah on those days. (Matthew 4:1-2)

Through God's holy spirit, Moses performed miraculous works which Jesus also did.(Exodus 14:21/Matthew 9:35)

Moses set the sons of Israel free from captivity in Egypt(Exodus 12:37). Jesus came to
1. release the lost sheep in the house of Israel from spiritual captivity.(Matthew 15:24, Luke 4:18)
2. set obedient mankind free from enslavement to sin and death by means of a ransom sacrifice.(Matthew 20:28, Hebrews 10:12-18)

After the death of Moses, his body was not recovered because Jehovah removed it.(Deuteronomy 34:6-7) so if you can find out what happened to Moses' body, you can also know what happened to Jesus' fleshly body.

Excellent! smiley

When Moses told the Israelites "God will raise a prophet like me in your midst"
Moses people don't realize that many things we don't understand about Jesus' life could be easily grasped by correlating the events with what happened to Moses! smiley

Lol so 1Corinthians 15:46 exposed your faulty doctrine so you're trying to discard the Scriptures. It's fine.

You don't just pick scriptures and give them the interpretations you want. Most of that chapter was talking about resurrection.

Read the whole chapter again, then you'll understand my comment.

I know about moses, it was written clearly in the bible. Am asking about Jesus Christ.
Do you have any scripture that talked about God taking the body of Jesus Christ?

Moses's body was taken away by God's angels so if Moses said Jesus will be a prophet like him, then it means the same thing that happened to Moses's body is exactly what happened to Jesus' body! smiley

There is no scripture in the Bible that talks about that.

Let me use your terminology now, if any of the “saints” or chosen ones die today, do their body disappear after you bury it in the ground or does it decay?
Because whatever happened to Jesus concerning resurrection is what will happen to those “saints”. (1Corinthians 15:49)

Ihedinobi3:

I've never seen it in the Bible that individual Israelites were delivered because of their association with the nation of Israel. I know that God promised Abraham that He would bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him, and I know that He treats even unbelieving Israelites specially because they are Israelites, but the Lord has in fact been harder on Israelites than on Gentiles in the matter of holiness. Unbelieving Israelites were supposed to be stoned to death according to the Law of Moses. And when Israel did not follow that Law, the Lord still destroyed very many Israelites who sinned against him, beginning from the Exodus until the final deportation from the Land of Israel. So, I am pretty sure that you are wrong about that bit. Being part of an organization does not grant or prove salvation. In fact, it's the opposite: when you're saved, you become part of the organization that is blessed by the Lord, the Church, the Israel of God.

Only by the individual's free will exercise of faith in (1)Jesus Christ Who is God that became Man to die for our sins is anyone saved, just as the whole Bible teaches.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:18 (NKJV)

I do share fellowship with a group of fellow believers scattered around the world too, but we are not a church in the traditional sense. We are a church only in the sense of believers who gather together to encourage one another in Christ. I have said all that elsewhere and many times over. The pastor-teacher under whose ministry we are all growing spiritually and also being trained as pastor-teachers (for those of us who have the gift) is at https://ichthys.com. Some of us there also hang out at www.bibleacademyonline.com, which is an independent pastor-teaching ministry that is of very common cause with the Ichthys ministry too.

So, no, I don't believe that being part of any organization here on earth saves anybody. I don't see that in the Bible. Interestingly, all cults including the Roman Catholic Church that your church hates too, believe the same madness. The Bible teaches that we each individually choose whether we want to be saved or not. Joining an organization is not how it teaches that that choice must be exercised either. It is only exercised by a conscious choice to trust in and submit to the Jesus revealed in the Bible.

Bros, either you are LYING or @ John 3:16 Jesus Christ is saying the truth.

They're all children of disobedience!

They want to believe that a spirit/soul survives humans at death, so there could be a basis for their Hellfire doctrines. Yet God specifically told Adam "you (Adam) are from the dust and you will return to dust" so God wasn't talking to the real Adam but just his flesh the real Adam still lives somewhere till today. cheesy

The bolded will happen on the day of resurrection not immediately after death.

The prophecy of the body not decaying was only about Jesus Christ.

People alive at rapture will be have their natural body transformed to a spiritual body. The dead people will also be resurrected with a spiritual body.

1corithians15;51-53

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Paul called you an “unreasonable person”, when he explained that “What you sow is not made alive unless first it dies.”—1Corinthians 15:36

Man is a spirit

Act 17:16 Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to Idolatry.

Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

1Co 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

2Co 2:13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.

All this verses clearly states that the spirit is different from the body and soul. If you meditate on them, you'll also realise that its not just a life force or whatever you think it is.

Acts 17:16
New International Version
While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols.

The word spirit means various things in the holy Bible, in the context of Acts 17:16 & 2 Cor 2:13 you quoted, "Spirit" refers to Paul's emotions , his mental disposition (distress, anger , discomfort) at the widespread idolatry in the city of Athens. And also, Paul was unhappy because he didn't meet Titus.

Since Moses is similar to Jesus
1. Did moses resurrect?
2. Is moses seated at the right hand of God the Father?
3. Is moses God.

Be careful in your comparison of moses to Jesus Christ

Hebrews3:1-6

1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

That they have some things in common doesn't give you the right to compare a creature(moses) to the creator( Jesus Christ

Like i said earlier, it looks like you're just assuming. Because, there's zero scriptural backing to a statement you made emphatically. On an issue as important as the resurrection of Jesus Christ, you shouldn't be trying to use old testament prophets to guess what happened to the only begotten Son of God.

When did i ask you to disregard scriptures?

I asked you not to get confused by the terminologies used. Why in the world will i ask you to disregard scriptures.

Your problem is that you don't know how to interpret scriptures. You will just take out a verse and start giving it your own interpretation. You have to look at the context to know what a verse really means. That's why i always quote like 3 or more verses, to give you the context.

He will definitely resurrect during the resurrection of the dead!

2. Is moses seated at the right hand of God the Father?
He used the blood of animals not his own blood so NO! he can't have that position.

3. Was moses God.

YES! He served as God at a point in time just like Jesus also served as God at a point in time! Exodus 7:1

Be careful in your comparison of moses to Jesus Christ

Hebrews3:1-6

Sure Jesus participated in creating all other things but he himself was created! Proverbs 8:22-31

Both Moses and Jesus shared lots and lots in common!
Both served as God!
Both served as deliverers!
Both served as mediators of covenants!
Both went without food for 40 days and nights!
Both were law givers!
Both pleaded on behalf of God's people!
Both died and bodies weren't found!
So they had lots of things in common! smiley
