Don't. You will regret it. Wife her first before you do such.
Firstandonly:
My girlfriend is very good in sawing and she has always wanted to have a shop of her own where she can expand. She is still in school and supports her studies from the little sawing she does at home, the truth is she's very hard-working.

Should i take a risk and open a shop for her. I work and i earn 40k a month i can easily save up to 60k from now till January but am scared, I don't want to take a risk i will later regret in life.

Pls has any body faced this kind of situation before or heard of it and how was the outcome?

Lol, I read the post twice to look for the investment cost, is it because of 60k you wrote this epistle? My only pity is to the good girl dating your stingy self, disgusting

To Nairalanders, so you are this broke? Money that some people spend on a sitting, don't invest in her bla bla bla rubbish that you all are typing. Not 7million, 700,000, ordinary 60k? Na wa o

Even pregnancy can't hold any lady that has got her eyes fixed on the fast lanes and fast lives.

@firstandonly, even if you think she's not worth it, doing it might mean well for her in the future (even if you're in it, or not).

All the best brave Bro!

With the way you described your family and you still earn 40k per month this your story na fabu e no add up walai my suggestion why not borrow her the money at first and set a time limit for her to return it if she does and you see her seriousness with her hustle dash her or tell you are reinvesting it again and let her grow from there my 2cents

Which ever way she will rise to her destiny, 60k is not so big from what u earn, invest in her with mindset that u r helping a human but have an agreement that she will pay u back, have it signed by her, if u think u cant forefeit it...
Re: Should I Take The Risk And Invest In My Girlfriend? by benjijosh(m): 6:31pm On Nov 30, 2020
Almost everyone deviated from the topic. He’s not asking if he should invest in himself or not.

Dear OP, if you can do what you stated without having to deny yourself a good life for a period of time then go ahead and invest in her.

I don’t blame people against you investing cos truth be told, there’s a lot of crazy and ungrateful ladies out there just looking for to prey on but then, life is of two sides, the good and the bad. Both will happen to every man.

I always had this thought myself for my girl about investing in her and here are the things that helped me arrive at a conclusion.

1. Regardless of she being my girlfriend, I would be helping a human being cos I want her to do good for herself.

2. She’s worth every bit of the investment

3. If all goes as planned, she’s going to be my wife and that’s going to be a win win (thinking positively)

4. I haven’t made it my utmost priority, in fact she’s not aware I have any plan of investing in her yet. Although, I have a target month to execute this plan of mine so it’s not a burden and also, I won’t even be saving 5% of my monthly income to get this plan of mine executed.

Please strategize and for now, always put yourself first.

Cheers

You’re one of the reasons we men get mad at ladies. He’s being honest with himself here. If 60k isn’t much of a big deal to you then pass. You don’t have to call him stingy!!

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW POOR YOU ARE UNTIL ITS TOO LATE. YOU ARE LIVING WAY BELOW POVERTY LEVEL AND DONT EVEN KNOW THAT. INVEST IN YOURSELF FIRST AND KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM WOMEN AT THIS POINT OF YOUR LIFE

Invest in her if you love her and if you think she deserves it because if you don't do it another person will do it.

On another note
Just buy a dog with that money
In one word you are wicked. So you mean buying a dog is far more better than a human being?

I call him stingy because its something I would do for an ordinary friend if its available and I see the friend in need. He said he doesn't use money

Everything in life is a risk.

If you don't take it, you'll never know.

Personally, I don't generalise things. If you can, do it. But don't bank on your deeds.

If it comes back to meet you for good, fine. If it doesn't, so be it!

Thumbs up for you..
