They won't listen, I know them. They sheepishly believe the unthinkable.

This egregious TELEPECON/SEM scam has shown me how ignorant Nigerians are sha.

Yes, confident but ignorant people.

hahagringrin

The latest is DAT NGOs have been credited directly, bypassing TELPECON because of the laughable and idiotic excuse that the money is too big for TELPECON account to handle.

Hence some NGOs have received amounts running into several billions of naira, more than what they need for disbursement, just so the grant money leaves CBN. gringrin

Once everything is sorted out disbursement will commence.

There is a new ruse grant called OSSEA. It has a ribcracking fable behind it grin;

TSTV has been on since November 2020 as promised and their service is very nice with so many HD channels and entertaining channels.

Sorry for d wait will drop the imbecilic tales by OSSEA
Re: Do You Know Anything About TELPECON? by tplayer: 11:13pm On Dec 31, 2020
OSSEA means Odua States Social Empowerment Association (pls don't quote me here cos I'm not sure about the word "states"wink. The grant is for the Yoruba states in Nigeria alone sha, not nation wide. If you are a Sokoto resident that wants to assess, you may have to move to the south-west

The person who gave me this fable is a chief grant hunter (one of those middle-tier individuals who run around looking for grants up and down and are involved in registering hundred of people under them for spurious grants grin) in these giant scam grant business flourishing now.

This chief grant hunter along with other hunters meet with the country coordinator and other officials of OSSEA in a fact-finding mission. In the encounter, they were fed this crackpot story.

The Genesis
It was an encounter the country coordinator had with an Okada rider that culminated in the birth of the ruse called OSSEA. According to his cock and bull story, the Okada rider was a worker of WEMA bank before he was laid off. The country-coordinator was moved with compassion and rendered help to the Okada man. After this encounter, he started OSSEA with a group of like-minded scammers.

Enter the Marwa woman
On another fateful day, the rendered help to a woman(they rendered a help that centers around keke Marwa to her) that linked them with a phantom UI prof... Now the story gets interesting

Enter the Phantom UI prof
The UI prof too was already looking for an opportunity to help the helpless. grin grin The UI prof contacted his people in Ukraine ( wink who offered to help them access a grant from a finance organisation (unnamed as usual).

Enter processing money
They (UI prof and the gang) will have to part with 110 million as processing money to the Ukraine-based ghosts before they get the grant.

The Fund-raising starts
They were able to raise only 20 million.

Enter the game changing move by UI prof
The UI prof, moved with compassion, remembered his family's piece of Land on planet Mars (no Alausa, Ikeja) worth 500 million. He spoken with ghost family members who allowed the piece of land to be mortgaged for 100 million, so they could access the money to cause the much needed agricultural revolution in Nigeria.

Enter more tales by moonlight

As anyone with a pinch of grey matter has come expect with these meatheads, the 120 million raised (remembered they needed 110 million) suddenly becomes insufficient. More money is needed for processing

Enter Batch B
Due to the additional money requirement, Batch B was created. Registration for Batch A ended this December and Batch B would have ended yesterday (30 Dec 2020) but they (the person who told me this + plus other chief grant hunters) pleaded and the magnanimous clowns at the top at OSSEA decided to extend the closing date to first week of January 2021

Enter the money you need to register for this grant that your great-grand children will collect
100 names ( aka grant lusters) make up a cluster (or whatever name), consisting of 95 beneficiaries and 5 Directors. Directors are to pay 700 each and will get ID card. Beneficiaries pay nothing grin

Enter the grant money your great-grand children will collect
Since you people have starting losing faith in TELPECON and co, this one was reduced to make it attractive to a crowd that is becoming incredulous.
Directors collect 1.2 million and Beneficiaries will collect 250, 000

Enter payment dates
First Batch will be paid January
Second Batch will be paid March

Enter the question asked by chief grant hunters
Question: "Hope this grant will not experience any delay at the CBN?" (Yes, CBN again.) Why wont they use CBN when CBN has decided to remain silent about these street urchins using its name for phony grants.
Answer: They have finished processing with CBN already, so expect no disbursement delay like TELPECON. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Note:
The phantom UI prof has friends in high places in BOI, BOT (does it exist?), BOA, etc, so people under this grant will be considered first when grants are released by these agencies

I heard about TELPECON grant by March, from a university professor. He was the person collating the data from our locality, and sending same to the regional coordinator (not so sure of the chain.. but I hope you'all got the point).

The claim looked bogus and unrealistic to me (as I'm sure it did to most of us). But coming from such an outstanding person, I didn't doubt it much. I was pretty sure that a man like him must have gotten his facts right before embarking on such venture. And from the opinions I've sampled, I think a lot of person had unflinching faith in the grant because of the caliber of people that brought them in.

I had some spare time then, and since I had some knowledge of Excel, I decided to help screen the lists of various clusters to ensure they were error free. The more I did that, the more I became convinced that it we might be in for some white goose chase with respect to the grant.

First, I noticed that there was no limit as to the number of clusters they can accept.. As many people as had money to pay for their clusters had theirs captured.

2. I noticed that aside a change in nomenclature, there was no difference between the defunct SEM and the ongoing TELPECON.

3. At one point, other grants allegedly offered by the same donors began to surface: Commonwealth, Theobarth, Golden bridge, etc. Each claims to offer something similar to TELPECON, and, of course, each required that some payment be made.

I particularly tool note of Young Fishers Grant, because their interest form was offered online in the form of Google form. After registration, I discovered that 23,000 other clusters had registered! (I will send a screenshot at the end of this). That is, as unpopular as that grant was.

And that got me thinking... If each cluster is required to pay just N1000 for registration, that would amount to about 23 million naira for the people in charge of it.

And if the Young Fisher's Grant could pull such amount of people given its relative unpopularity, I suppose TELPECON should pull a double of that.

Following this finding, I decided to take a personal research on telpecon. I wrote to EFCC, CBN, and CAC asking of they knew anything about the grant, but none of my queries were answered.

I sent a reminder to CBN after some time and I was still met by a grim silence.

If you visit Twitter and search the word, TELPECON, you'd discover that several persons have taken to the CBN's Twitter handle to ask of the authenticity of the TELPECON grant. But quite interestingly, none of their queries ever gets attended to.

So, the whole stuff personally got me confused AF, like, I didn't even know what to believe again.

What is making the CBN and other regulatory agencies to keep mute at this point in time? The silence of CBN in this whole grant saga has puzzled me... Because they are the only ones that can clear the air on it.

My conclusion:
Inasmuch as nothing is impossible, I think its a long shot hoping to get paid by TELPECON. Because the grant does not look realistic at all.

The money telpecon promised to give is far bigger than the budget of Nigeria, and I doubt if any individual or organization can afford to give out such money for nothing.

So, ladies and entlemen, Wise up and stop being fooled.

missyge:
I am a member of Telpecon grant, infact a cluster director. To those saying it’s Scam, oyo.

But op, registeration has ended I wonder why someone is coming to meet u this month for asking for bvn details.

1, registration is free and d only amount any beneficiary is to pay is 200 naira and ure paying dat to ur director to be able to print fill in ur details which many didn’t even pay and it didn’t stop their registration

2. No bvn was collected only account details which was demanded lately.

To those who say it’s scam, I will come back to remind u of wat u said by the time disbursements takes place.
