My hubby recently bought Honda CR-V 2003model(Naija used) for me. It has been from one issue to another. At first it was the gear but it was fixed,one of the days I took the car out it just stopped on the road and the mechanic came to check the car and said he will change a certain switch which he did. In the last 2days now,when driving the steering will be hard all of a sudden and the car will go off showing battery sign on the dashboard. The battery is relatively new,please what do you advice I do?

You need to take it to a decent shop.

We took it to Honda specialist at Oyingbo Lagos. The gear for instance was fixed there. But this stuff has happened before,the mechanic took the car to his workshop for 3days and brought it back saying the car was okay and won't stop me on the road again. That same day I drove it,it happened again.

Madam Radautoworks, please I need all the help I can get here. Car is BMW E90, took it to a mechanic to check the guibo cos I feel vibration at the rear seat whenever I move a bit slow while accelerating but none if driven hard. Mech checked and guibo plus transfer case is intact. The exhaust was brought down a bit during this process, after coupling, I told him to check my plugs cos I've not changed it before.
On checking, he noticed like brown residues at the tail end which he cleaned with fuel. After starting the car, it started feeling like a misfire while driving but idle while static is good.

The cabin is now a bit loud, checked the exhaust for leaks, none was found. A rewire said coils are good, I changed some plugs too. Bought brand new fuel filter, cleaned the dual banks but stil same. It stutters on initial acceleration, acceleration feels hard like engine is working extra. I've scanned it, no codes. Injectors serviced too.
Car doesn't purrrrr like before, it had quick acceleration from zero before but not anymore. Fuel consumption is also high. Don't know what else to check.

This car actually belongs to a NLer. Repair bill was 1.3m but customer brought their own parts so labor came to about 200k. Repairs are ongoing.
