See, four years is a lot to spend with someone. It can't be easy to forget like in just few months. Even after 10 years, there is still tendency that two of you could still have sex.
Now, if you want to move on, move .
If you don't want to move on, keep comparing ex with new.
One way I have dealt with separation and it has helped me is. Deleting anything that has to with the person.

It is always hard to forget our Ex,especially the once we were friends with b4 we finally start dating them.trust feelings continues to linger for a life time.
Nevertheless, we have to move on because strength is not measured in holding on but in letting go. U may not find those qualities of ur Ex in your new girlfriend

Your feelings are normal. It will take a while for you to forget your ex because of the beautiful past. Please, stick to your current lady, with time things will improve. I experienced this shit some months ago. As for me, i do spend several months (sometimes years) to erase the memory of previous relationship before venturing into another relationship. Sometimes, I pray I do not love when I get married, but that doesn't mean I won't do the rightful at home.
