I have an issue on a TLC deal with ORIJIN201 I would like you guys to help me settle

On 31st January 2021 I contacted ORIJIN201 on WhatsApp concerning one TLC deal 12 pro max 256gb he posted on Nairaland that day, but unfortunately we couldn’t strike a deal on that particular phone so I told him to notify me on a similar phone deal if h has again. After this I chipped in getting a TLC AirPods Pro too.

So the TLC AirPods Pro deal came through first and he told me he had one for sale for 80k (same day) so I asked him to be sure it was the original/authentic one I am buying and he confirmed it was. He sent pictures afterwards and I told him I couldn’t confirm the authenticity from just pictures he went further to reassure me it was original. I paid him the sum of 80k same day.

To cut the long story short I picked the AirPods Pro here in nigeria on the 16th feb 2021 and on unsealing it I noticed it was a super copy AirPods Pro (I have done my due diligence to ascertain this) and we are having a hard time resolving it on WhatsApp so I decided to bring it up here for una to help us resolve am

Would appreciate a fair judgement, any evidences required I can always provide

Chief, you sold an item you couldn’t verify the authenticity as TLC. If it comes as non genuine, the full responsibility is yours to bear.

Did you skip the part I checked the serial number? And it wasn’t a TLC deal, it was a request from him. We are trying to seek resolution without bias, don’t jump into the discussion without proper evaluation.

Bro no offense whether sealed or unsealed as long as client said I want a sealed airpod pro and not indicate a super copy or whatever it's called, you are supposed, to provide him one , no one can foresee every nitty gritty and specify every single thing . I think you owe the dude a refund or a sealed airpod pro , the worst you can possibly do or say is for him to reseal it for you , If you wanna be petty no offense , that's the risk that comes with buying airpods from either Ebay or offerup.

I'm sorry but you have to accept your responsibility, whether Client seeker reassurance or not , it's unfair on you but it's the nature of the biz .

You bought the AirPods for him doesn’t mean you didn’t make some sort of profit off it. Even if you didn’t, he trusted you thinking you could tell clones and authentic products apart. The minute you agreed to buy and accepted payment for the pods, the onus fell on you to do your due diligence chief.
