About the nairalander youre referring to, the man prolly doesn't care for/about her that's why he's always outta the picture.

From her posts, it looks like the man is not doing anything cos of the way she goes about her hustle like someone who's got no support from her spouse. So how do you now expect her to share the proceedings with him by treating him to a nice outing?

You know.....when you're that hot chick that has turned down so many men in your area and work place, there's this high expectations from everyone to see the kind of guy you would end up with. Some will even tell you to your face.

Now, if it happens that you end up with someone not up to society standards for a partner or what he should look like, say... a short man for instance ( considering the way society see them), then there's a problem and you'll hear things like, "after all the shakara, see the short man she married."

Or

They'll say "Maybe no normal man is coming for her again, so she has no choice but to settle for anything". These are the kind of remarks you get to hear at such times.

One was like, for someone her height and Class we didn't expect anything less but alas all that forming was nothing.

So, I begin to Wonder. Are short people of low standard or not considered fit for good things just because they are short? Or is there something missing with them?

Hm... A similar case to the one in my former compound. The woman ended up having stroke and was taken to the village. A young woman in her late 40s for that matter.
Now the tout son walks around the whole local market with his friend taking weed and living a dirty life.

You better leave the house unannounced because taking them to their fathers village won't work. Who's gonna take them from you? Or you think they too will be gullible to let you bundle them down there?

Just secretly get a place for yourself and leave now that you're still alive and in one piece.

Raising male children in this era of rottenness among teenagers and youth is not an easy task even with a father involved.

Sorry to say this but I think Iike the woman I cited, you raised them up badly because I still know of some small boys that this woman's son grew up with ( in the same compound) and how they turned out well because their mother trained them very well and never allowed them to go past the compound gate except they're going to school or on errands.

These ones Graduated from the uni and rented their own apartments before our very eyes while the other woman was always supporting her boys in looking for trouble and fighting people in the compound would abuse and lash anyone that tries to correct her boys.

At a point she was even bragging that no brother in the compound can challenge her son. This is a son that refused to go to school or learn any skills. No matter how hard the mother tried, he'll drop out or run away from where he's learning a skill. This he did until the mother came down with stroke.

Poor parenting could also be the cause of your predicament.

Train up a child in the way he should go. Most parents don't take that advice seriously until it has entered injury time.

I have been embarrassed once with an incessant call by my pastor.

This was in 2016. My ex invited me to his parish and that day the GO came to his parish so I went and was sitted in the middle of the church a few rows away from the altar.

My parish pastor when he didn't see me in service and wanted me to sign a check started calling me on end. The annoying part was that I couldn't pick or off my phone because it was a blind phone. The phone too was an eyesore and the ringing tone was so loud that it was getting everywhere. So if I now bring it out, before I'll be able to turn it off, the GO might even stone me mic.

One usher has been looking at me sternly. And my pastor too kept calling. ha! I knew it was him because since I was with my guy, no other person can call and being a Sunday, I knew it was definitely him. So the usher walked up to me and told me to switch off my phone. The embarrassment.
I just dipped my hand in my bag and pinched the phone until it went off.
