saintbillion: The bank staff attending to us knows I actually borrowed him my powerbank, cause he wanted to set up his mobile app after collecting his atm. It was when i was been attended to, that was when he left prior to my notice. So immediately i alerted the bank staff. She sort the man form and extracted his number cause it wasn't that long. They called him at first and ask him to come immediately for his atm card verification. He said he was close he is coming. I waited until around 3:45pm. They called him again and he said is that guy that he collected his powerbank still there abi? Then he cut the call. I waited again until after 4. I told the bank staff to pls give me his phone number. They said no. That i should come back on Tuesday they will reach him. So they said i should drop my contact details which i did. On Tuesday i went there again. They called him but he began blocking their numbers. I went to the a police station near by. They said the bank staff suppose give me his number since they are aware and the man also admitted he collected the powerbank. So they said i should write statement. And I'll also need court order and it will cost me money too i just left the police station cause i presume the stress won't be here The bank officers goofed by not giving you the number. If they had given you the number, there is absolutely no risk there and nothing that the old thief can do. But of course, you have bank officers that are poorly trained and lacking in self conviction and confidence. |

oluwaseyi0: Only a court can force them to give out the number, unless the police has informal relationships in that bank nothing helpful will happen An experienced Head of Operations will give out the phone number and nothing can happen from the old thief. |

ibedun: Oga leave the senator biko!, some people should go and challenge their poor parents for bringing them to the world on empty pockets and into direct poverty.
That is the surest way of doing the needful for the betterment of mankind.
I am tired and agree at seeing poor Nigerians having children like there are no consequences.
Are you living the consequences of your parent's poor and irresponsible decision? That's the case for 80 -90% of Nigerian youths. Bitter truth. Very well said. To know who is your problem, just look in the mirror.......... English proverb. |

ositadima1: This is partially incorrect. We saw clear signals in NCR, especially during the last rally. I mentioned it here when more than 60% of the outstanding shares traded in less than a week, long before the rally. At the time, I commented that it was possible the majority shareholder structure had changed hands.
As with all situations involving incomplete information, we took a probabilistic stance. Then more confirming signs appeared, I entered the trade, and I exited with more than double my investment, if I recall correctly.
I can’t speak for other stocks, but as far as NCR is concerned, we came, we saw, we conquered. Congratulations are in order then if you are part of those that benefitted from the NCR largese. |

nosa2: With time you will learn that there are no gurus in this game and the majority view is often wrong. Then you need to develop your own metrics for valuing stocks and stick to it no matter what.
For me it is a relationship between price to earning ratio relative to the market, price to book value, profit margin (relative to industry peers) and return on equity. I stick to these and I do not budge; and it has served me well so far I cannot agree less with your first statement. If there are indeed gurus, NCR would not have gotten to the height it attained without anyone seeing it. Maybe we should invite a certain OLABAYO that is predicting the outcome of AFCON and suggesting who should and who should not play for the Super Eagle to show interesting the NGX. |

AlphaTaikun: If the Federal authorities have iron-clad evidence against this guy (who was former President Muhammadu Buhari's personal lawyer) then he (Malami or whatever his name is) MUST pay dearly for his financial infractions and the funds returned to the State. In any sane society, assets acquired beyond your provable, legitimate income is already an iron-clad evidence. I am not sure same applies here. A child that isn't into dry cleaning is coming home daily with load of cloths......... African proverb. |
