The left footed boy in Leicester city is done. Can’t even start games. I don’t want to see him in SE setup until he’s serious with his career

The season just began. Give it time

2022 is the year of the female Nigerian athlete. Congrats to the Falconets on a well deserved victory

And how will that happen? These politicians will just say anything to sound smart

Fingers crossed for Onyedika!!

Tobi Amusan getting gold would be the most picture perfect finish to our Commonwealth campaign!

I can sense that one of our men will win gold in TT

Table-Tennis:

Nigeria's Bode Abiodun/Aruna Quadri beat Singapore's Pang Yew En Koen / Quek Izaac in Round of 16 of the men's doubles.

3-2(11-8, 11-9, 7-11, 7-11, 11-8

That was a tough match. I just wanna see Aruna medal at the very least.

Why not have AFCON in summer? What other continental tournament occurs during the middle of the season?

I've got to give it up for our women. They are making us proud at the Commonwealth games.

Damn. What's up with the men and their athletic performances?

The FG needs to tap into local events like these and promote wrestling and other combat sports at the national level. We should be rivaling the Iranians, Cubans and Caucasus nations in this sport.

Makes sense. If they are not under the eyes of the government, they can steal more money.

Fayemi is an intelligent man

The monster

He should keep that mask on for the rest of his career as precaution.

I doff hat

Thanks. It is very difficult be we have seen some wins in the past.

Where? Nairaland?

I have featured for this country on the national stage in the past. I know current and past national athletes and am in contact with the presidents/leaders of lesser known sports federations. I use my connections to coordinate with colleagues and advocate for better funding.

We should be sending 130+ athletes to Commonwealth. I will continue breathing down the ministry of sports' neck until various sports are adequately funded in this country.

Despite logistical troubles at Tokyo, it was evident that Nigeria has lots of potential in track. Amusan's 4th place finish, Ese's silver and Adegoke making it to the 100m finals showcased this. The evidence of this potential was further cemented when our youth finished 3rd at the U20 youth athletics championship last year in Kenya.

I seriously implore that our FG and sports ministry invest heavily in this sport. The potential is there and we can make a huge statement in 2024 in Paris. If not Paris (since its too soon), then Los Angeles it is.

I commend him for making a living in an honest way. Most Nigerians that go to Italy, particularly the Edo, go there to engage in illicit activities.

Not too confident about our girls' chances today. I'll be honest in saying that I originally had Morocco shocking everyone and winning this tournament. Their women's football program has been quite emergent as of late and I've been following them since that mini tournament in Lagos.

Transfer News: Official Announcement, Chidera Ejuke in Hertha BSC Colors

Will dorn Jersey #40.

Excellent move. No need to be playing in a country that's bogged down by sanctions

She already has 13 endorsements from her fellow MPs, so clearly a considerable amount of people believe in her ambition

charlesemeka85:
Good move?

Yes. A good showing this upcoming season and he can make his way to Ligue 1. The Turkish league ain't gonna be resuscitated anytime soon.
