I like games like this. Players are being exposed. Will Rohr make changes for the future though?

Not sure if this has been reported already but Napoli's appeal has been accepted. Osimhen will play against Juventus.

Yorubas remain unperturbed in defending their homeland. They can wail all they want - the bills will still pass and there's nothing Buhari and his minions can do about it.

I mean no offense to our midfield but if we want to win against Cabo Verde, Osimhen and the front line will have to do all of the work

House,
Why is there no VAR in African football?
Some tackles I have been seeing and calls of officials has been terrible.
Again all these do come to play in international tournaments
I don't think there's VAR in CONCACAF qualifiers as well. VAR will probably show up in the final round

After Senegal and Algeria, Ivory Coast is one of the toughest countries to face in Africa right now. Even without Zaha, Pepe, Amad, and Kessie, see the way they are dominating the Cameroonians.

In the knockout rounds, we should hope not to meet them. Any of Ghana, Egypt, Mali or Dr Congo groups would be the best draws for us. Ivory Coast will likely make it out of this group.
Not so fast. I think this group will be decided by the final match day. I'm not sold on these guys yet.

The Moroccan lad is right. Lagos, the megacity and economic powerhouse of Africa, should have at least 2 world class stadia. Every other major city like Ibadan, PH, Kano, etc. should have at least 1. I hope we play our next matches in Abuja to avoid further embarrassment. Teslim Balogun looks like utter garbage.

Who are the lesser opposition?
Based on my current projections, we could face teams like Benin, Libya/Egypt or Zimbabwe/Ghana.

There's no way we'll avoid them. Even Mali, Zambia can give Nigeria problems. If you're afraid of Senegal, Algeria . Then tell me how you'll go far in world cup.
We’ll avoid them if we finish this round as top 5 in Africa. CAF has reverted back to 2014 qualification rules for this year meaning the teams will be seeded in the final round. The top 5 in Africa will be placed in Pot 1 while the bottom 5 will be placed in Pot 2. Again, we want our road to Qatar to be as smooth and easy as possible. The goal at the moment is to qualify - that’s all that matters.

If you're afraid of those two, then you don't have any business in going to the world cup.
The Senegal I watched against Togo is nothing Special. Even Algeria Man to Man can't be compared to Nigeria players. I watched our last AFCON 2019 match with them (full match) and I noticed that they actually played nothing extraordinary.

What the have is that Team play and a good coach
Its about playing it smart. It is ideal to face lesser opposition in times like this. No one wants to run into a big team during world cup qualifiers and I'm sure other African teams are thinking alike.

Whatever happens, we need avoid dropping out of top 5 in Africa. This is because it'll allow us to avoid teams like Algeria and Senegal when the seeding is calculated for playoffs in the 3rd round. In other words, staying in the top 5 will allow us to be in the same pot as those two teams when the draw takes place.

How it's taking Musa 11 yrs to do that ?

Who counted it , cos I know Nigeria can't play in average 10 matches a year
You have to remember, it was only when Rohr took over that we started to play regular friendlies each international break and qualified for AFCON. Before Rohr, we did not play friendlies regularly and failed to qualify for 2015 and 2017 AFCONs. As a result, our players had much less Caps over that period of time.
