Just finished watching Amaju's inspiring speech to our home based guys. We could be facing Ghana, Cameroon or Canada in October. Moreover, he derided the idea of home based playera hastily signing contracts to play in countries like Belarus, Lithuania, Cyprus and other countries alike. He mentioned that he believed they were capable of going to top clubs and leagues directly instead of going through the lower leagues of Europe. He also went on to say that our guys are much better in quality than MLS players, despite the large gulf in quality of the facilities and infrastructure that exists between the two leagues.

What a speech.

Amaju Pinnick announced to the players that they'll get another friendly in October in Baltimore

While everyone is busy with the Euros, it seems we all missed this.

Austin Eguavoen has been denied his visa and will not coach the eagles. Paul Aigbogun takes over.

How? Didn't they apply for all their visas ahead of time?

I will advise you to take the teaching job with the following reasons:

1. You will have enough time to work on other things after closing hours, probably having another business, like shop that someone will manage for you before you close

2. School lesson means added money

3. You can earn from private lessons

4. If you plan to further your education, teaching is the best

5. You will be a little bit respected than a cleaner, Nigerians see cleaners as shit

Listen to other people opinions as you make your decision

OP, this moniker couldn't have said it better. I urge that you consider these tips very seriously

I'll still be attending with some of my classmates

I am having dis weird feeling dt d home base players might pull a surprise against d Mexicans..and dis would lead to two things

1)D yearn/clamour for fb players to pledge deir allegiance to us will drastically reduce

2) majority of our so called average first eleven starters and bench warmers would lose deir relevancy wc might lead to some even losing dier shirt/starting spot

I can only advice d home base lad to put on a good shift tommorow,it will help deir case alot

If these possibilities happen, so be it. The team shirts should only be reserved for the best.

Civil war is coming to this country. They have the energy to address an innocuous mass gathering yet they cannot address those Killer Herdsman. The Nigerian state is very weak and highly vulnerable to collapse. Restructure now or suffer the consequences later on.

Onuachu to West Ham is very serious and is picking up heat...

It seems God really want Nigeria to get something from this friendlies because i dont see them getting a draw with ezenwa in goal let alone a win

Ezenwa is injured and will not travel with the team to the USA tonight. Noble and Stanley Nwabali will take over GK duties for the tour.

Can we say that we were suprised by Germany's fall in this tournament? They've played rubbish since that first match with France.

With the way we run our football. No serious minded coach will stick around with us. Any solid employee worth his onions will not put up with the BS of irregular salaries and payment. So my tirade is that u get what u pay for.

Fair enough

jihday:
Nothing like that

Iceland looked much less disciplined when facing us versus the Argentines.

jihday:
Chei See fan base na. Funny enough super eagles always find it a bit easier beating all these mid-level European teams. If we are to play both Switzerland and Venezuela and I'm told to bet on the one we'll win, I'll put my money on us beating Switzerland

I think its because those teams are much more lax when playing against us. Iceland was so well drilled against Argentina and drew with them whereas we picked them apart.

Today's performance by the Swiss is the result of hours upon hours of tactical analysis and meticulous planning. How does Rohr and his team prepare for matches? Do they perform hours of video analysis? Is there a team that sits down and brainstorms tactical approaches?

Or is just kick ball and inshallah?

May God protect Mbappe! IJN!

Penalties!!

What a save by sommer!!!

How can you lose a pass like that?

If there's anything this Euros has shown us, it's that European football is leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the world, even South America sef.

To be frank, last World cup should've served as a stark warning. The gap is growing and CAF needs to address this by starting a nation's league, investing more into West African domestic football, etc.

Switzerland just shot themselves on the foot. Rodriguez when Shaqri is there. What madness.

Just saw it. I hate it when these underdogs undo all of their work
