There's a pigeon on the field and it's so unbothered

Truth be told, if it was us facing France, Rohr would've started berating our players, saying that we lack world class players and how we do not play Champions League, etc.

We need a coach that'll breathe confidence and determination into our team.

This Hungarian defence is compact and resolute. Germany ought to be worried.

Excellent strike by Hungary! The French backs were sleeping.

Why continue to play in league where the European league spots are held hostage by the same 2-3 teams every year when you can move to a big club that is always guaranteed a Europa/CL spot and has large visibility?

Awaziem does not have any other options. He'll be playing next to top players. This is an excellent move for the lad.

Shehu Abdullahi got married today

Very fine bride. All the best to him

This Euro tournament is exposing alot of teams

Awaziem —> Besiktas
Onyeka —> Brentford

This summer is looking good so far.

Sanwo-olu can do more than this if only Tinubu can give him a breathing space and not always demanding for Lagos allocation every month. Truly Lagos is no man's land

It is not our fault that your governors and upper class are busy pouring money into SW instead of building up your useless, potopoto region. Let them continue to do so while you focus on burning down police stations

Excellent work. I would like to see more work in rural and downtrodden areas however

What's happening na this thread na? Abi na my phone?

Wetin dey happen?

Nice to see all of our players come back home to greet their Governors and fellow countrypersons

According to respected Spanish sports daily AS, Russian Premier League giants Spartak Moscow have made a bid to sign Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq but Almeria's asking price has not been met.

Spartak made a bid of sixteen million euros (approximately N7.68b) plus bonuses for the services of Sadiq who mustered 28 goals and provided nine assists in 56 matches combined for Almeria and Partizan Belgrade over the course of the 2020-2021 season.

Spartak Moscow are scouring Europe for a striker with the future of Jordan Larsson, the son of Sweden legend Henrik Larsson up in the air, and have identified Sadiq as the top target to replace the former Barcelona youth-teamer.

The second foreign club showing serious interest to sign the 2016 Olympics bronze medalist is Eintracht Frankfurt.

The German Bundesliga outfit's offer included 18 million euros (N8.64b) transfer fees plus bonuses.

Eintracht Frankfurt are looking at signing a replacement for Luka Jović who is heading back to Real Madrid following the expiration of his loan spell, while their top scorer last season André Silva is on the radar of several European teams.

The two offers from Spartak Moscow and Eintracht Frankfurt have been deemed insufficient by Almeria who value the Nigerian as from 30 million euros though he has a release clause of 60 million euros.

He needs to remain in Spain. Spartak Moscow is a big club but he can do better

Where are the sidewalks?

Our women’s team is really trying. They gave a good account of themselves. Great save by Oluehi near the end

Just saw the new stadium that the our girls and the USWNT are playing at. Notwithstanding South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa has an extremely long way to go when it comes to infrastructure.

There is no technicality. South is South. See the map below.

I wasn't following Nigeria geopolitical terms. I meant to say that Akwa Ibom, relative to Lagos, is Eastern. Pardon the miscommunication.

rottennaija:
Which East? Its the south of the south.

It's technically in the Eastern part of the country. This is what I meant, relative to Lagos which is in the West

Best state in the East. I am glad to see that there are other states challenging Lagos. We need intranational competition between States.

Turkey is finished. I really had high hopes for them going into this competition. I guess the hype has run out.

...

Careful before eating those. I knew a few fellas from UNIBEN who would often engage in sexual acts with monkeys. They said their kpekus felt good.

These offside rules are ridiculously strict

I'm sitting here with my Dad and he's still befuddled at how the Germans are playing. The Germany he only remembers are the days of Beckenbauer and Rummenigge

France is giving it to the Germans

How do you collapse in the end like that? Poor game management? Fatigue?

Damn...

Penalty. Hungary just undid themselves in one minute

I commend the Hungarians for holding their own. I urge Rohr to watch this tournament, especially this game and the encounter between Ukraine and Holland. Our team needs to be imbued with the spirit of resilience and determination when facing bigger teams.

I love this. Toronto no be everything. There's much more to Canada than it's urban centre's. It boasts some of the best wildlife and scenery in the world. I had a blast in the Rockies a few years ago. Enjoy!

Most People don’t rate the Turkish league

But trust me besiktas is a very big club and I Hope awaziem joins them soon .

He will be playing Champions League with them. Better than playing in mid/bottom table Portugesse clubs.
