Freksy.. Your first post here (I mean the one to my question) is a bit 'good' but actually wrong.. That's an 'illustration' and never a 'prophecy'.. Even Jesus, in Matt 12:40 when citing something about Jonah, apparently admits that it is an analogy not a 'prophecy' to be fulfilled ...get it?

Going back to Luke 24:46 Jesus says 'it is written' that's definitely a prophecy to be fulfilled. He's citing a prophecy from the OT,actually. To be sure that this is a prophecy, read the verse 44, "...that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled "

The book of Jonah isn't a prophetic book: it's a story book. Furthermore, Jesus using "For as Jonah..." plainly shows that he isn't taking that as a prophecy to be fulfilled, but as an analogy.

Fascinatingly, Jesus didn't really use 3 days and 3 nights. He died on friday evening and resurrected sunday morning.

The contex in which jesus say fool was talking about the pherasse, they ask you to keep the law but they themself cannot keep it, so they are fool.

Hello. My types don't read text out of context. And, Jesus isn't referring to the Pharisees in that verse. He is re-affirming the Law; giving commandments that we mustn't call people fool.

Be sincer for once my good friend, so because jesus say dont called someone fool mean even when you acted foolishly we shuld clap for you? Is that how they encourage wrong doer?

Maybe He was preaching meekness and gentleness: tell people their wrong, not calling them fools.

Thanks for your time too. And I don't have a corrupt mind. I'm just being sincere with the Bible... If the Bible is really God's (I mean only by God) inspired (the NT can't be however) it should be one Lack of accordance leads to the thousands of denominations we have today.

For the purpose of opposing your statement I gave an example, Paul, who God encountered with the fact that he wasn't close to God. You defened yourself by saying that he thought he was pleasing God.. Maybe that's why God revealed himself to him.


So I mentioned another person, Thomas, an unbeliever (who can't be close to God) yet God revealed Himself to him.

-Thomas was one of Jesus's disciples.

I can't change! Well.. Only God can if He exists.

And my future?... It's not a problem at all, though little is likely.

Jesus in Luke 24:46 explicitly says that " it is written... " implying strongly to a prophecy that is written in the old testament, prophecy He came to fulfil. He isn't drawing out any analogy here, if He's He will state that clearly as He does in John 3:14, "as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness..." Jesus in Luke 24:46 doesn't state "as the lamb was exchanged with Isaac after 3days..." No, He tells us clearly, " It is written "

Moreover, He also says, "that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead" Did all these happen to the lamb

Man knew ONLY good.. You still make no point. Since disobeying God is something evil/bad/not good, man could not have done evil (disobey) all he could do was GOOD, that's all what he knew. But then he sinned, and that takes you back to the first post.
