Help please!
I submitted a visa application anf printed confirmation page before printing the application just for my record. However when I go back to retrieve the application, I am unable to print a copy of the application (that button is grayed out). Please is this normal or a glitch?
I would really like to have a copy of the application.

Thank you.
Autos / Order Your Auto Parts From USA by practicalclass: 1:53am On Aug 19, 2023
Hello Nairalanders,

I hope you are all well and this post meets you all well. My name is Dr. Temi, yes you read that right. I am a medical doctor who graduated from U.I.
I currently reside in the USA and I have a passion for cars. Funny right, I know. I love cars and anything cars. Here in the U.S, I purchase cars from auction sites and I am the go-to plug for anything autos for my family.

I want my fellow Nigerians to benefit from this passion of mine. I am volunteering to help Nigerians living in Nigeria get parts for the repairs of their automobile especially those who own and drive USA purchased cars. I am doing this from an experience I had (my mum's actually). She had her car repaired by her mechanic in Nigeria and the fees she was charged for parts were too exorbitant. So this is an offer to help car owners purchase their auto parts directly. I will help you purchase and ship to you in Lagos or Ibadan. You will be responsible for the shipping fees.

The perks of this offer is that I have access to purchase parts from a cheap source, yes you read that right again. Here, cars are disposed off a lot and the parts are pulled by individuals who then re-sell those parts at cheap prices.

Of course to save shipping cost it's best to ship in bulk. So please spread this message amongst your friends and family and make order request collectively.

As for the exchange rate to be used, you can save cost by buying dollars through your bank and paying into my dollar account. But if you choose to purchase in Naira you can let me know first and I can help you get a cheaper naira to dollar exchange rate (I have links for that too as their are Nigerians in the U.S here who are into Forex at cheaper rates).

The first 10 individuals who send their request to me will get this offer for free....you pay nothing else but your auto parts fee and shipping fee.

Thereafter, I will charge a commission of 2% per item purchased.

To make your request you can reply to this post or Whatsapp (preferred) @ +2348032916858.
I will give payment details via WhatsApp.

So please 🙏 utilize my service. I understand if trust is an issue but feel free to call me and even ask for a video call to see me....I understand this trust thing in business, I have fallen victim a few times so I want to be the change I desire 🙏.

Thank you.

Debbieeeeeee:

5 months is a lot of time to stay if you claim you have a business or any source of livelihood in Nigeria and especially if this is your first travel to the USA. 2-3 months is also a lot for a first timer. The V.O probably thinks you won’t return most especially because of the length of time you already stated, he/she will think it’s convenient for your daughter to make you stay longer than stated because child care is expensive in the USA.
Also, if your child is a citizen it’s easier for her to file for you than for you to go through this rejection stress after 24 months of waiting.

But won't filing take longer?

I just now want to visit to see my grand kids.

Good day all,

So my visa interview outcome was that it was denied after waiting for 24 months from time of application to finally getting interviewed. The VO asked how long I was going to stay for and I said 2-3 months but in the application, it stated 5 months because at the time I was going to assist my daughter who just gave birth. The VO asked about the 5 months in the application and I explained that that was because initially I wanted to help with taking care of the babies but that now my visit is just to see the grown babies hence the reason it is shorter.

Please any advice or suggestion as I plan to re-apply so I can see my grandkids.

Thank you,

Please how long is the wait time for interview when applying for immigrants visa (relationship of petitioner to applicant is child-mother, child being a citizen).

ekpotek:

I am sorry for your mums refusals. To cut the long story short, both USA and UK are convinced that you mum is an immigration risk. That’s she has more home ties to USA than Nigeria, hence the refusals. Wanting to go to UK to do a Masters was seen as alternative way to enter the USA as a UK based student. Clearly her circumstances in Nigeria has not changes from that of 2017. Best options is for you to have US citizenship and petition for her to join you via immigrant visa.

Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by practicalclass: 3:39am On Feb 23, 2022
I have submitted all these documents except the MRV receipt and DS 160 (they should have those by default). I even got a letter from my gynecologist for the some purpose of EA. I wander if its because it is Lagos.
Would you advise switching to Abuja for interview and trying to request EA?
UmmZayd:

I-20 (F2)
Hospital record
DS 160 confirmation
MRV receipt

No, that's not the reason why. Did all that from my end and it was granted.

Also which of the embassy’s are you using?

Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by practicalclass: 4:08am On Feb 21, 2022
I always request for the emergency interview on her behalf. Could it be because of this, as the IP will show that it's coming from within US.
Also , before I put to bed, I included Dr's not requesting that my mum be allowed to travel by December as my main support as I anticipated surgery... Still was denied.

Any help or suggestion is much appreciated please.

urchdiya:
You could be doing something wrongly. I’ve had people get EA for their mum to come help them and it’s not even a multiple birth. So something is wrong if you’ve done that 3 times
Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by practicalclass: 3:11am On Feb 20, 2022
I emailed you. Thank you.

UmmZayd:

Hmmm so sorry about this but EA 3 times
If you are the only one there, what exactly did you/are you doing wrong??
You can mail maybe I can help as long as you are on a clean sheet.

I am doing first time for my mum so she can assist me with caring for my twin babies ad a first time mother. I have been denied emergency appointments thrice now. I am hopeful for a closer 2022 date as the date I have at the time I filled her visa is Nov, 2023. Any advice here on how to go about getting her an earlier date will be much appreciated as I am loosing lots of sleep and weight caring for the babies by myself. Thank you.

EuniqueBabe:
Well I understand. I dont even have any friend doing US for the first time. But I believe there are people here that are first timers but they will keep quiet. No contribution, only to be silently reading lol

Please kindly come back and share how this went. In the same boat, also submitted letter from my Dr but no favorable outcome. TIA. [quote author=chigozieduru post=10864967

I think your best shot might be to get your doctor's office write a letter stating that due to your pregnancy and medical needs they recommend having your family member help with the baby care to allow you rest. Their coming to the US is not necessarily an emergency so it's not guaranteed they will be given an EA but you can give it a try.
Health / Re: Painful Menses. Please Help! by practicalclass: 1:49am On Nov 02, 2021
As far as I could remember, I've always had very painful menstruation. To a point that it affects my ability to work or be productive.
Painkillers hardly work, so it's about 4-7 days of Pre menstrual cramps +5 day period of agony. Almost two weeks every month. Sometimes I fall sick during or after my period.
I talked to my doctor. I was thinking family planning pills might pause my periods for sometime. But he said no they don't. He advised I be taking painkillers prior to my period and I have ulcer.

I'm tired. NL doctors, what can I do?
[/quote

Please see a gynecologist. Painful menses could be due to a lot of issues (mostly anatomical such as fibroids, endometriosis, etc.) Getting the proper investigation and treatment is key. And I wonder why your doctor is against OCPs.

Get vaccinated! Wear a mask!! Avoid crowded gatherings!!! Only go out when necessary!!!!

Hello. Please is it possible to get denied emergency request for visa interview but still get a call and/or email for early interview date. Category is B-visa. Location is Lagos.

And if denied emergency request, can one request again?

Thanks.

Please doctors in the house I need help.....!!

I have noticed this unusually stain of blood in my boxers every time I come back home from work but I thought it was nothing until I went to use the restroom one day when i observed this redness in my urine. After the urine, comes a think long red worm-like thing coming out followed by blood. Jeez!

Next day, I rushed to General hospital to see a doctor, he suspect schistosomes/fluke worm. He recommended some tests 1) M/S/U or M/C/S,( 2) FCBY (3) E/U/C . All came out negative.

Wrote some drugs which I have taken for almost a week now. The blood stopped 4 days and came back again on the 5th day that I am supposed to take the last dosage.

When I sleep at night now, my boxers gets wet again with the lond red worm....

NB: Doctor keep asking if I come from Ondo state, and when last I visited village, I work closely around water.
I am married with kids......
Doctors in the house I need help....
Anyone with similar issue in the past please help with how you went about it....
I have visited herbal woman... she called it atosi eleje.... meaning Blood or dry gonohea which I doubt...

If you must insult me, also proffer solution. Thank you....

Please return to the general hospital and ask for referral to see a UROLIGIST. They are trained to manage conditions relating to the kidneys, ureter and urethra (which is what your condition is related to). They are in teaching hospitals or specialty hospitals. Do not panick, but be pro-active. The Lord is in control!

Romance / Re: How Can I Control My Sexual Urges In School Environment? by practicalclass: 3:02am On Oct 27, 2019
Legionx:
You know a school environment where all the girls prefer to walk half naked in bum shorts showing their legs, thighs and leaving nothing to imagination.

I'm trying to keep my focus but it's not easy. Lots of girls say I'm handsome and too serious... Those words make me think I can get a girl without stress

But

I'm trying to achieve my goals but the sexual urge sometimes makes my head dizzy....

I'm not broke, I got a medium size gen, TV, GOtv and all that... Which is probably why the ladies are showing interest...

How can I forge ahead when all I see is ass, laps and thighs whenever I step out...

Tell yourself you will not allow what you see control your urges, and carry this around in your consciousness. May the Lord help you.

I always have this unpleasant experience anytime I switch on my AC (Hyundai Accent 2008).At times in traffic the car stops completely,I have to switch OFF the car then ON it back.

Can anyone help with the possible solution.

Thanks

See a mechanic (re-wire). Its likely the AC relay. Had same issue with my Hyundai Accent (i think it was 2004) and that was what he changed. You can also have a diagnostic on the car as its usually an electric problem when AC affects engine.

Celebrities / Re: Wale Gates: Davido Is Flouting NYSC Rules & Liable To Be Penalized by practicalclass: 6:11pm On Sep 20, 2018
First and foremost, NYSC is not meant to be mandatory, however the consequence of not being able to serve in government offices/organisation except if officially excused should be fully understood by graduates. Its like saying all American youths below the age of 25 must compulsorily enroll in military to serve.

Especially for a country not well organised, NYSC should not be compulsory.

But for Davido, since he chose to serve, he should be committed to obeying the rules and regulations of the scheme.

Wisdom they say is profitable to direct. But it amazes me how we disregard wisdom in matters like this just to satisfy our flesh desires. Keep a distance to avoid temptations and eventually 'stories that touch'.
Same goes for Married men keeping having a close friendship with a female friend. It threatens the peace and joy of a marriage.

Once you are able to get your 186 signed by your school official while you are physically present, you don't need to notarise it.
