Thank you for your response. I have submitted my application around march but what I did was to attach my employment letter, Job description, and credit into my account. I will quickly go and get another one and raise a webform to submit it. Thank you Mamaroon: I don't think a letter with job title without job description will fly with IRCC, their application checklist requires it, there's a rejection case with that exact issue.
Personally, I would humble myself and go and beg the former HR. Obviously your job would have a description somewhere in the company records. I will prostrate and say they should please just write a cover letter and refer to the attached job description. Others may advise that your former colleague should write it for you on plain paper and notarize and that it worked for then.... I don't know about that.... the checklist says employer should write.
Last last, if HR refuses, I would ask them to please do me the favour of informing me by email or in a letter. I would then attach the JD of the job when I applied for it (when you applied for the post there would have been an advert or something listing the JD), my employment letter, their letter saying they cannot write a ref with JD, annual job appraisals that show what you did and how well you did it, yearly goals etc all with the company logo, if possible.
Pay is easy to prove with pay slips and credit into your account. |

What if your previous employer gave you a reference letter with the Job title and without a Job description and Pay. What should the person do? They also said they can't give another letter. Mamaroon: I'm not sure I understood the details, but....
When you submit your application eAPR:
A) For Work experience - list your work experience for the NOC that you are claiming points form B) For Personal History - list ALL you have been doing for the past 10 years (education, work, unemployed, directorships, volunteer etc).
Docs to be submitted - reference letter from employer(s) for work experience you are claiming points for with job description that matches your primary NOC i.e. A) above. If you say you have 3 years experience, then attach letters from as many employers that will account for the 3 years.
If you are ok, points wise without the bank employer reference letter, good, just put it in personal history. |

you can use the duration of the program as the start and end date but for the certificate, it would be a year certificate and diploma and it would be part-time not full time. I hope i was able to answer your question. Maryduke: Okay. Do I use one year as the complete/full academic year(s)? Please bear in mind I did 5 diets in total instead of 3 to qualify because I had some resits. When the ask for the full academic year(s), do the mean to standard period of completion of the program or the period one took to complete it? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by pragya2017: 11:42am On Mar 04, 2020 |
use ICAN. Maryduke: Thanks, sorry I was not specific. Its for EE profile. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by pragya2017: 11:28am On Mar 04, 2020 |
The name of the institution would be ICAN and the name of the certificate would be AAT. Maryduke: Good morning all, please in creating a profile, what should be filled under complete/full academic years for ATS and secondly, which institution should be used? SHould it be Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or Association of Accounting Technicians Scheme West Africa? Thanks |

Can I just use reference letter and Payslips alone? WeAreDLucky1s: I am going to advise you based solely on what I did.
Q: Is the employment letter and reference letter enough? A: YES!
Q: Are there other documents required? A: NO!
Q: Can you add other documents to support? A: YES!
Q: Should you add other documents to support? A: YES! Do whatever makes you sleep well at night. REASON: You'll have many nights where you'll pray sleep comes quickly because of one thought or the other regarding your submitted application - surely you do not want to have any sleepless night as a result of your negligence. - So, JUST DO IT!
Q: When is other documents MANDATORY? A: When you're unable to get the Reference Letter in CIC/IRCC recommended format, or when unable to get it at all.
Q: What are other documents you can add? A: ID Card, Payslip/stub, Promotion Letter, Employment Letter, Retirement Letter (if you have )
Note, although you may be tempted to add all your office documents, emails, pictures, dinner party, and employee rosters just to prove your point - Please don't. Just keep your application simple. It is very difficult to get an automatic reject without them asking you to provide more information when/if they need clarity. At the least, you'll be given 7 days. And to buttress it, nothing or no one has been able to prove that ADR or cumbersome application got them PPR faster/slower than usual. So, just keep it simple, despite your search for peace of mind and quality sleep time.
I hope this has been helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading. |

My Advice for her like what Brown said is to go alone. I had my interview today, it was perfect but the home ties worked against me. The VO was reluctant to deny me because i spent about 10-15 mins without any question being asked just a few questions about how I chose the school and if I wrote any standardized exam. I have been to the US before and also my wife and we even have a baby with their passport but the VO saw it as an opportunity to migrate. If it has been working before, now the probability of success is low. Maybe for nice VO she might get approved. Time2win: I am only against you saying she should defer her admission till her baby is 1year. Even her husband can't take care of the baby well even at 2years. She can be asked any question including those you mentioned |

I do not agree to this and i would state my reason. Visa is a 50/50 chance even if everything is done correctly. Someone going for a Phd program without a wife and a kid was still granted Visa. I would ask how was he assessed based on home-tie or was it based on what he said by word of mouth? Once you can convince the VO even with your Family your visa can be approved. He should do whatever he believes will work for him especially if he can afford it. Gernny: To be on the safe side she should stay behind u need to show a strong tie here in your country, what if they ask u what ur wife will be doing there?left for me let her stay back she can join u with f2 visa after ur first semester. |

Good Morning Good peeps of Nairaland. Thank God for the approval so far.
I want to ask if I can go with my son(He is a baby of about 10 months) for the visa interview. The reason am asking is that he doesn't need a Visa because he has a blue passport and since I will be going for the interview with my wife(F2) because we all intend traveling together.
Thank you |

It must have far more. |

Please, check your email. bracelum: So, what you're talking now is totally different from what I'm talking about. Everyone knows that your MBA school does not matter ten years down the line. It is just a quick fix that places you on the right path with immediate effect and what happens after that is just a function of your drive, hustle and passion. A lot of people become CEOs even without formal education so I don't see how your example treats this issue under discussion. As I said, I won't go into this discussion because I have explained myself enough.
Whenever I give advice here about MBAs, I always ask the "what do you want to do after graduation?" question. I give my advice based on current trends in recruiting. If you want to do consulting, I will advice you based on trends. If you want to do banking, I will advice you based on trends.
You seem to encourage people to take MBAs (even with debt) without having any goal in mind and making them depend on hope and luck. I don't know if you're doing it just to make them feel happy or to avoid them attacking you. But we all know that making a significant investment with no end goal in sight is a very wrong move and I won't shy away from telling them the truth even if it makes them feel bad.
I will never advice someone to take a route with significant investment and place their outcomes on luck or hope. If it works for 5% of people, it doesn't work for 95% of others. |

I sent you an email. bracelum: Have you taken the GRE? That should be the first step before mailing the admissions office. Focus on it and get the best score you can get. Schools will always be there. You can do all the school research you want to do after getting a stellar GRE score. |

Hello everyone,
I just want to clarify something as regards i20 and financial documents. As we all know that the i20 doesn't show all fees for the duration of the program. Will the VO only check if one can cover this amount? or they will estimate the second year fee also and make sure the financial document can cover that amount.
Thank you |

I think that is why. your answer to the why National University is not bad. Thank you Kingsman01: Bro some gurus were already of the impression that my school is a red flag amongst other factors. I applied and was approved on Prodigy and the whole process took just 2 weeks too. They have a credit model like you said earlier, once you put in those details, it predicts if you can take the loan or not. It even predicts the amount you can take and it won't be a burden to you. Thanks GTR1: Yes there are, BUT, they are usually provided by the school itself that admitted you into some of thier programs (e.g most top MBA programs can provide a loan that covers 100% of the tuition for an international student without a cosigner) . Aside from that, most nigerian students are stuck with prodigy or mpower as viable options |

Does a low GRE score affect one's ability to get a good internship or job prospect after study especially for those in business school? Or what does it affect apart from admission?

I have a question as regards this. For instance if i have $40,000 on my I20 as cost of attendance from the school. If my program is two years, will the VO multiply it by 2? and check it against my bank statement or they will just check the $40,000 against the bank statement. Thank you fairheart: Congrats on your acceptance to WSU. That being said, your first degree program should be related to the Masters you intend to study. However, this is not required for issuance of your visa. You can still get your visa. However, you will need to prepare a strong response as to why you are going for MS in Management and Supply Chain, which has a relationship with your work experience at the Courier Service Firm. Your age is also ideal. The US embassy verify statement of account now--if they take it down after a convincing visa interview. The consular may not take down your sponsor statement, so nobody here can say what will happen. You can use family sponsor, which I strong recommend.
Yes, finalize and decide who to use as sponsor before you fill this part of the DSFORM. Also, make sure the amount in the sponsor account is enough to cover for the whole tuition of your program (and still remain if you remove the total cost of the package). Kindly confirm that "Self" is not indicated on your I-20 as the sponsor, or else, you will have to stick with that and provide your own statement of acct.
If you have more questions, kindly drop them. |
