Please can someone shade more light on nta for me and how to go about it.

My son will be 4 months old on Saturday. He's very agile, already sitting down, feeds well and play well. He's exclusively breastfed and I pump after feeding and give to him. He's gaining weight but not fat. someone told me, he probably has nta so I need to know about this nta and how to diagnose it.

I just discovered this thread few minutes ago and I'm a first time mum.

Good morning mamas and grandma. I've been a peeping Tom on this thread but I've decided to repent.

I need help please. My almost 5 month old has been stooling about 4 times a day for about 5 days now. I started giving her flagyl, zinc and probiotic as recommended by a matron. She eats well and is very active except when the poo comes. She takes brown pap as she has stopped breast feeding since 3 months (I wasn't lactating well and she stopped sucking altogether)and just formulae is no longer enough for her(She used to take 180ml every 2 hrs till I introduced the pap.). Please is there anything else I can do? She's on day 3 of the 5 day treatment nd still pops 4 times. Help please.

Please, change the pap to only corn and see if her system adjusts.
It depends on system, four times may not be too much,just continue with zinc only.
Do see,a doctor if after three days,no improvement.

For the first three months you can buy unisex clothes,eg,shorts, trousers,jump suit,and add one or two both gender specific clothes,if you will do things like naming.
So at the end of the day,you can give out or save the unused ones.

Thanks mama Zaynie. The doctor actually made me feel silly. Was like don't you know you're pregnant and your baby will grow?
So I told him he shouldn't worry, I won't come to hospital again till my 9th month.

Don't let them bully you, if you have concerns off you go to them with proper explanation. it's your right.
Just try seeing them early on their shift,to get the best out of them.

December 2018, will never be forgotten in my life it was the month i received my goodnews, the month God turned my story around, gave me a new song, confirmed that i am indeed a fruitful vine, indeed a mother of great nations, removed the label of barren the world gave me and for that i am eternally grateful.

The best 3 months of my life so far was knowing life grew inside me, confirming my womb a fertile ground and that God is not a waster of resources but the journey has come to a painful end, the first fruit of my womb, the answer to prayers of 4 long years is gone I cannot question God, but i hold on to HIM that gives beauty for ashes, HIM that will give me my oil of gladness for this loss and know that HE will make my joy full in no time. As the Lord lives this 2019 i will testify

To all bumping mamas, your joy will never be cut short in Jesus Name Amen!!!

So sorry to hear this,may the almighty give you double for your trouble, Amen!

I have tried giving her to suck but the nipples are too hard for her to latch on and i tried extracting via breast pump but only little colostrum left, yet my breast feels like stone. Sorry dear, massage with hot water, lubricate nipples with olive oil,after cleaning with face towel and water. it's a matter of time and you will get the hang of it.

my princess arrived on the14th of february, birth weight 3.2kg VD. labour was 6hours. God be praised.

The contractions started intensifying by midnight and i thought i could pull through same way i did the previous night but omo, i almost ran mad. By 2am 13th Feb, hubby and i said we cant take it anymore and dats how we went off to the hospital. My sisters in d lord i saw hell fire, the consultant for the Cs wasnt on ground so i was kuku just left there to see if labour will progress and what not. By 6am i was only 4cm dilated . I started shouting they should call the doctor i dont want to push ooo (the doctor was still on his way, i guess he delayed in coming because he was told babys heartbeat was very fine).

Erm i fink my story is getting too long. Anyway the summary of it all is that by 9.28am on the 13th of Feb my darling princess was brot out of me via CS and when i heard her ist cry i couldnt hold mine back (wipes tear). She weighed 3.8kg (side eyes at the scan result)....She is more than what i asked the lord for and I cant thank him enough. We have been discharged and im recovering fine. Baby is fine, momma is fine, hubby is fine.

Speedy recovery to all the mamas that have delivered and those yet to deliver. The lord is your strength and he will do it for you even much more than he has done it for me.
