Good days mothers. It's been long I came in here, please I have a problem. How do I manage reflux in my 7 weeks old baby? I feed him in bits and burp him but before the belch comes out the milk comes out. I've tried sitting him upright in a position for long also but it doesn't seem to work. My dear, congratulations first, reflux can be frustrating, however try to feed baby little by little,like 5 mins burp and then continue,till you establish what works for you both.

Pls help me tnk God ooo.... I gave birth yesterday on the 22nd of NOV.. clock in2 d hospital 8:30.... Was induced by 9pm bcs i was due by a day... N i gave birth 10:32pm to my prince charming looking very handsome tru Vagina delivery n with many tears thou, baby was 3.1kg at 35weeks... Didnt do scan b4 goin in2 labour so i guess e is 3.5kg at 40weeks (chai!!! D stitching no b here lol)

The fear of the unknown kills,I haven't seen many people praise helps,there are alot of complaints.
Whoever, you get and your spirit thinks it's off , please let it go.However,if it's a necessity now,get someone, within your budget.
If you can budget and buy things weekly or twice in month,it reduces market runs stress.

I have a little cousin that keeps my two year old busy as much as she can, however the bulk falls on me.I enrolled the big girl in school around neighbourhood,thus few hours alone with baby,carry baby on carrier and run some errands, sleep when he does.
Use some good neighbours to get some stuff from market.
Or buy from neighbourhood,,this phase will soon pass.
Depends on hubby,once he's back morning and evening,I clean,cook for the day.
I sha learnt,if they are screaming out,to use soothing music to help my sanity.

It depends on their ages, temperaments,plan ahead.
Have a happy mindset,no matter what happens.
There's is another thread in family section,you can pick up tips from there, can't remember the link.
My 2yr old becomes cranky from 7pm,so I plan dinner,bath,play time around then and giving time to focus on others.

i will advice u 2 kick against eating anything raw especially drinking of egg raw which have dis bacteria called salmonella dt can cause danger 2 u n ur baby... There r many ways to increase ur pcv, like i learnt here eating of garden egg leave (will advice u 2 cook it n not eat it raw, thou sm mamas eat it raw but u know our immune systems r stronger dan one anoda) but i dont take garden egg leaves thou, i ve bein eating gure (water leave) n eating ugwu almost every week (i cooked them as normal soup n eat dem wit anything) 2 boost my pcv... Eat as much as possible.... If u drink milk, u baby is gonna b big, so stay away frm milk... I ve given u 3 different vegetables dt u can take 2 increase ur PCV n dey nva disappoint.... N mind u dont forget to take ur prenantal vitamins too. Happy bumping

I think emphasis should be on quantity and frequency. Not calling milk bad outrightly.

From day one of my pregnancy been taking folic, f sulphate and vit c, after a while I couldn't stand it so I started taking it sometimes once in two days or three days. Yesterday a friend introduced me to obron 6 that she used it when she was preg, she's a nurse so I trusted her and also asked the doctors at my last antenatal and they approved. Is it really safe to take obron 6 during pregnancy? Cos Google is not helping matters.

If obron 6;is a local (Nigerian) drug, you may not find much review online.
Yes,it was popular in the late 90s and early millennium.
There are many brands of prenatal,if you aren't comfortable go to health plus or big pharmacy and choose the brand you like.
Some mothers also give birth taking routine only.
Any multivitamin you choose,just be diligent in taking them.

On this jaundice matter,I gave glucose water and breastfed every two hours and early morning sun.

Just came back from antenatal and the Dr said things that got me worried,he said my baby is quite small for the age.. Actually it's too small and was asking if I'm sure baby kicks... It was even annoying me sef, me that as I'm typing, baby is kicking... So he asked if I've done scanat all, I said twice.... He said if by the next time I come, he doesnt like what he sees, he will ask for another scan... Now I'm abit worried... Anyone with similar issues? Is it OK? Do I eat more? Rest more? Sleep more? Or remove my mind... Pls don't ignore o... I'm 22wks...hd a 4.7kg baby n he said I don't look like u had a 4kg baby.. I just tire.

You can go for independent scan in a reputable lab and claim your doctor sent you and you just misplaced the form,but he wants a thorough report.After the scan google the parameters as against your pregnancy age/week and of possible seek another doctor's opinion,good luck.

If the cough is getting worse or baby can't feed well, please go to hospital.

Hello mamas. How are my fellow January teamies doing? Pls i am curious about the dosage for fesolate(ferrous/iron tablets). In my first and second trimester, my gynae prescribed one tablet a day. I had red degeneration of fibroid pains which led to admission at 21 weeks, and the dosage was bumped up to 2 tablets, 2 times daily. Now, at my last antenatal visit, it was brought down to 1 tablet a day. This has gotten me worried, has anyone been given the 4 tablets a day dosage before? Let it not be that i have been taking an overdose o.

I think they increase or reduce the iron tabs dosage based on history and patient's present condition. Trust your doctor, except you have reasons to doubt him.

I gave birth to my first son in December 2018 via CS after scan showed I still had placenta previa...Though I had an history of PCOS & ovarian cyst.
My baby will be 10months old in about 2weeks time and I just discovered today that I'm pregnant again, 6weeks pregnant based on LMP.
We didn't plan for this, I don't even know how it happened, so this doesn't sound so much of a good news to us.
Just can't stop wondering if I am at any risk keeping this pregnancy cos I have been spotting on n off for some days now? I'm going to the hospital tomorrow to see the doctor.

It's already happened,mine happened in the fifth month after cs,it's not easy,but baby that has come to stay,has come to stay.
Just commit all to God and pamper self.

Abeg, leave the mixed spices now,some people can react to some of the ingredients. If you must take pepper soup, use single known ingredients, prepared by self.
