I gave birth to my handsome bobo on Friday 8th of Feb (against edd 27th Feb). I had to be induced because of HBP. Thank God it went well.

See ehn, when it comes to skin care products, as with adults, it varies also with babies. What works for A mighy not work for B. There are lots of good ones that mamas here have priased; chicco, aveeno, sebamed, boots and their prices vary. People will scream chicco, you will rush and buy and it may end up not suiting your baby, same goes for almighty coconut oil.
Personally, i prefer natural oils for new born, then when they are older, i use cream. At first i used olive oil till we were about 3months, ported to coconut oil (didnt like it, emded up using it for hair), went back to olive oil, b4 finally using boots cream.
Also i dont think you need powder. Exactly,I use my olive oil for close to six months on normal or dry weather,orie for cold days,then change to cream. Read babies are born with natural cream.Thus, don't need much initially. Cc Rbae |

Hello mamas ,am here again . I was in August 2017 team and here I have found myself again.
Am yet to know what team I will belong to cos all I know is that I had my last period in december but can't remember the exact date.
The main reason am here this early is to rant,since I began to feel the symptoms of this pregnancy it has been constant hunger pangs... very unlike the first time where I couldn't even keep anything down in my tummy.
Now I just have to keep eating else I begin to feel nauseous. Abeg is this normal,I feel it's too early and I might end up with a big baby. Please eat,just healthy though, the brain of the baby is developing at the first trimester, weight and all that is from second semester. |

Giddy baby would just wake up every single night and start wailing. Newborn that I'm supposed to be doing vigilante for, has been asleep since 9pm that i put him to bed but GB would not let somebody sleep at night. Since the new baby came, her cry has switched to one kain loud annoying endless cry that just pisses me the hell off. And she can go on like that for two hours straight no matter how much you console her. This is someone that hardly ever cried before, now every single time she opens her eye at night, its followed by loud annoying wailing that wont stop no matter how much you try to soothe her. It's like the more you try, the louder she gets.
Her dad tried then vexed and went to sleep in the living room, me i tried then vexed and went and locked myself in the toilet. She took the screaming up two notches and the dad came back and is back to consoling. Me I'm still locked in the toilet. Biko who can tell me what to do with her. What I did to curb mine was to get her a shoe,she fell in love with as a gift and threaten to give it to my neighbours child. As usual,she called me bluff,till I packed the shoes, dangling it Infront of her, put in two of her best dress in her favourite bag,and actually opened the door, to give them out,she held me back,I refused with a mild drama,till we had an agreement for her to tell mum, what annoys her and not yell unreasonably. Well after our drama, we acted twice more and we got good.At a point, hubby thought I was serious and was begging me to take things easy,I refused vehemently and she started begging me , if she knows you can't do anything,she exploits it, flogging didn't work for me, as I'm scolding her or bringing out the cane to scare her, the screams take a higher pitch. I however, notice the tantrums more when she is hungry,so I always have banana in the room. It's well and a passing phase. |

My amazing mamas please I don't understand my body since morning. Dh reach town last night so being away for some weeks, I said let me service jajaina small oo.
Now, my stomach is something else. As if baby is doing weight lifting and press ups. He will just stretch himself to one side of the stomach then after sometime he will change position and continue .
At such point the stomach will be so hard and strong.
Is it normal my sisters? We are 26w5d gone.

My Yoruba angel was born this morning February 7, 2019 at 7:19am PST, weighing 8.9lbs, 20.5inches long, Vaginal birth and no tears. He was born within 5 minutes of pushing and between two contractions. God indeed showed up for me.

For bag for packing baby hospital things, I use two medium bag, traveling or suitcase and pack baby things in one and mine in another. For towel, anything that can wrap baby round,in addition with the soft towel. For feeding bottles,you could buy one(Avent) and wait when baby is born to decide whether baby will use or not. Some babies may not use the bottles till they are older. Though I always have a stainless cup, plate and spoon, for emergencies. |

E be like say I done port go join team April. I went for my normal antenatal and after a scan was carried out, Dr looks at me and asks if I am experiencing bleeding. I told him it only happened in my early pregnancy after I fell down the stairs but since then I have been fine. Then he says I have placenta previa and if it doesn't change, I will have to have a planned cs and baby will come early cos they won't want me to fall into labor. Me that was targeting May 1 for delivery cos its a public holiday.
Pls is there anyone that has gone through this before, how early did you have your baby? My dear, doctor will give you date, pending the case,but from week 34,get your things ready. It may also move up, keep any open mind. |

Since 33wks I started having contractions was placed on drugs and bed rest to stop contractions, yet nothing. I could barely stand for long without waist pain. I took steroids to strengthen her heart in case she comes out.
Was in 2cm for 3days no progress @35-36wks
Was admitted for 1wk...So I can reach 36wks, they refused to release me due the fact that I have had a preterm before now. I was angry all I wanted was to go home. Had about 25 finger inserts into my vagina. Met 7 consultants who checked and had different things to say.
Managed to move to 3cm after 4 days yet Nothing
Water broke while in almost 4cm on Saturday by 4am,i was immediately moved to labour ward. Cos they give oxytocin at 4cm, they did membrane sweep 4times early and u had another one that same day, still nothing. I only had pains,nothing more.
I cried terribly as they always said something is wrong but didn't know what it was, her heart beat was very stable.
D 8th consultant came and said something is holding down baby, he said her head couldn't be felt as she was far away from the birth canal, that she could be held by cord and as water is draining delay is dangerous cos labour wasn't progressing
Na so emergency CS was declared. Hubby didn't waste time to sign his consent.
Took d spinal cord injection to paralyze my legs, didn't work
Had to make me sleep
Woke up and saw my number 2.DR said it was cord that tangled round her neck
