I have been following this thread but never commented, i just did a home test and it is positive. Hopefully, i should be team late December, I will confirm when i go for a scan.My question is this can i try a VBAC, i had my child via CS in May 2018.

My kids are too active, too hyper active. Never seen such busy kids!

One is 5 and the other is going to be 3, it's being crazy.

We always cause a scene whenever we go out. From running away and me running after them to so many other things. Car almost ran into one of them some weeks ago. I felt weak, someone even insulted me and looked at me disgustingly cos of it, like i wasn't watchful or stupid not to put them to caution.

Once i pack they are ready to jump out of the car and begin to run. People say i dont allow rhem to go out, where dem wan go? Afterall they go to school.

My hubby is pisssd and am stressed over this attitude of theirs. I can't sit beside them, my 3 years old will turn my body to her play ground. I lock myself in my room 70% of the time. They hadly take a nap.

How do engage them properly? For now it's tv or playing with toils (which they dont fancy that much), i buy different toils and they get tired easily with them.

Am thinking of stopping oat for them, they take oat almost monday to friday before leaving for school. Could oat be the cause?

I don't want to start beating them so they wont get used to it and become stubborn.

Am seriously thinking of resigning my job, get a shop where they come to every day after school. Let them begin to go out now since them say I no dey allow them go out. Whenever we go out they become weird.

Good day sabi mama, I'm new here just gave birth almost 3weeks ago. Pls make una help me for this matter as I'm confuse on what to do. My baby of almost 3 weeks(will be 3 weeks on thursday) till has the umbilical stump cord on her. I am worried cos for my first son within 2 weeks, the cord has fallen off and healed. Should i be worried over that or i should go to the hospital.pls advise me as i am feeling concerned. I am not in nigeria so i am afraid cos i am alone and dont know what to do.

Compliments of the season Sabi Mamas, please o my Lo is 3 weeks old and she is always choking while sucking except when we lay to BF and again from her Bday till now she has hiccups everyday. Please anyone with remedy kindly chuk mouth.

Good day Mothers in the house, am an ardent follower of this thread as a father and I must say I have learnt a lot from every contributions here since the arrival of my DD.
Please she is 14months old now and has been stooling ( 4times a day or at d end of every meal except when breastfed)for the past 2days with the presence of green mucus and a little blood(watery). She still eats and play well. No fever ,No vomitting.
Few changes made in her diet:
We changed her milk / formula at the beginning of last week from Lactogen 2 to Nan 3 as Lactogen was not available ( just thinking : could dis could be d cause) ?
Fed her AS Nutty meal 3 times dis week for the first time since she started eating solid.


Could d few changes be d cause? Or could it be something else?

home remedy for boil is palm oil. You can as well apply penicillin ointment

Put dettol in bath water. Soak, and wash all sponges, washclothes and towels with hot water mixed with dettol after every single bath, dab the spot lightly (cuz its painful) with a towel and hot water during baths, change bedsheets daily.

Thanks mama. Was told same when she had dem at one week. But keeps clearing n coming back. Each time more than the previous. Plus i heard the doc mention to her colleague (when i showed her the white patch) "this is what yorubas call eela" she didn't know i understood yoruba...that's y i got concerned.

Good morning mamas. Please come to my aid. See pix of rashes on baby's face. She's 5weeks plus. Her head also have the dry scaly thing like dandruff. Been using cocnut oil n combing that. But I'm very concerned abt the face especially the whiter part that keeps spreading. Started baby tribotan on doc prescription but it's not changing the whiter part.
Pls sabi mamas advise pls.

Mama Rbae may not remember me but we started together. Became a silent reader cos of the nature of my job. EDD was 22.03.2019. By Thurs around 8pm, 39 wks5 days after taking a lot of pineapples and walking round the house for about 1.5hrs, I started feeling some mild contractions and felt like I wanted to poop(as a first timer ). Told my parents because I came home to birth. They carried my bag and we went to the hospital. Doctor checked me(painful shii mehn) and said I was in latent phase just 0.5cm dilation and I was like mogbe! He then said I would stay over and be watched.

So we were there and by morning (Friday)no progress. Later in the day mucus plug fell and then he said we can make progress. Chai! Since yesterday o. So by the next morning (sat) he checked and said I was 4cm and he was going to give me something to hasten the Labour so I wouldn't have to just be waiting till eternity to get to 10cm. They set up oxy.tocin at around 5:30am on sat and then my predicament started. Chai! I almost died. By 9:30am they said I was 7cm I said what! Just kill me already. Was there bearing the pains till around 10:45am when I felt like pushing. Told doc I felt like pooping o he said like you felt the first day abi I begged him o then he said Oya open your leg lemme see. Saw baby's head and shouted say make dem prepare the bed.

I used speed to climb the delivery bed and started pushing with each contraction. By the third,baby's head was stuck cos hole was too small so doc cut me a little and told me to push with all my might. I pushed again and baby came out shouting like he also felt labour pains .

They took him for cleaning and stitched me(pls don't try this at home too the pain is crazy)

That's how I gave birth 10:50am today

Ps: pls when in labour don't shout, it will exhaust you. Try to be more enduring. All the best to the waddling mamas.

Mothers in the house please a sister is having serious headache and is just 6 weeks pregnant. she has taken paracetamol up to 3 times since yesterday afternoon. kindly advise what can she take please? Is urgent.

Note: she traveled from Lagos to Benin and her antenatal is Lagos so she cant visit hospital in Benin please help

38weeks yesterday and I’ve been having mild abdominal cramps at the bottom of my belly, it goes down to my anus making me feel I need to use the restroom, during this period, I feel my heartbeat hardened and increased and also feeling nauseous at the same time then everything stops and I’m back to normal. Then it starts in another few minutes with same pattern.

Who else is experiencing this?
What do I do as I’m confused?
Is it normal at this stage?

I also noticed that my baby’s weight is more on the left side since today and movement has been really active.
