So truly, all we do is actually pictured first in our heart even before we act it out. So our mind is the originator of all we do because, all actions happen in our thoughts first before we act them out physically.

Every one of us today is been controlled by a force which compels us to drive for success and greatness In diverse fields, but it is nauseating today to realize that, even though we all have met the requirement to be whatever we envision, it is just a select few that have gone on to cross the Rubicon into wealth, greatness, success and even health.

It is very unhealthy to realize that every day, we keep hearing about the same individuals, in short you can even predict the news headline for the dailies and television tomorrow. Annoyingly, nobody is just interested In breaking into the ranks, we seem very content with our “nobody” status, and we will still sit down and spend our golden time in arguing about this same people, who can get whatever they want by just flicking their fingers, then when it becomes dark, you lay on your bed and wonder why GOD seems not to know of your existence, when even you are yet to know if you exist or what your purpose is.

Before you saw this article, you should have read countless news about celebrities and some you even searched on your accord, and if you do not feel a pang of pain when you realize that the celebrity you are reading about is your age mate, a fellow man like you, then I tell you that there is a problem somewhere, now am not saying that showing love for their work is bad, but you should also create time to show love for your own work, so you will not depreciate with time.

Let me get you in the mood, please answer the following questions sincerely: Is it a bad idea when people read about you?

• Those people you adore, have they got two heads? Why not also make yourself adorable.
• We all have 24hours in common every day, what do you do with yours?

I believe now, you will be sober, very good, because, whatever it is they have done, you can actually do way better. Do not just do anything in life, you will just be aimless and hopeless, instead, do what you love best and are sure you are good at, it is then you can never be a failure. When you read the interviews of great persons or there biography, you will always come across these statements:

I love what am doing; it is my passion; I discovered I was so good at it; I failed a lot, but I knew it was what I was supposed to do: I felt I was made for this; … you just fill the others in and see if we are not saying the same thing.

The mistakes most of us make, and will always fall victim to, is trying to make MONEY, just from everything, my brother, you will definitely pollute your purpose. Do not think money when you are into doing activities that you are good at, instead work from your heart and let your joy and profits come from the smiles you can put on the faces of others, indirectly, you will get all you want.

RIGHT PICTURE, WRONG FRAME

There is a reason, everyone one has got a shoe size, different names and faces, diverse personalities… it is because YOU ARE SO UNIQUE. Problem erupts when you try to be something or someone else aside YOU, you will be a total failure, because it is like fitting a square peg in a round hole, it would not fit.

Am not talking against having mentors or role models, but cutting your picture to fit their own frame is a totally wrong idea. They have their own story, so even though, they inspire you, never ever aspire to be them. Create a big picture of yourself and determine your own frame, work hard towards it and someday it will fit.

There is absolutely nothing on earth you want to do that another person have not tried doing or even succeeded in. so when you set out, do not even try to compare yourself to anybody, just do your work as best as you can carry it out.

Another error we commit is when we steal another person’s work and prototype, to make a name for ourselves, but In the real sense, you will only end up advertising them towards their own success, that is why I keep saying, do only the things you are good at so you will not be forced to follow the bandwagon in living under the shadow of another person just because you could not dare to be ORIGINAL.

MY CRITICS, MY FRIEND

The best and only true friend any person aiming for success will get are those who find joy and happiness in criticizing you and your work, they are the only ones who tell you the truth although in disguise and not without the price of envy, bitterness and strife, but it takes cool headedness to decode there messages which is aimed unknowingly to them to make you and your work better.

My personal test to know how successful a project will be sometimes is based on the amount of constructive criticism I receive, and it works a lot. Because, when a person spots you doing something different and awesome, they always try to discourage you because they could not do it, whereas in the light, they are scared of you becoming better than they are {And you are!}. Most critics are deep thinkers and they have a way of knowing how something might turn out to be, maybe successful or not.

Be warned, those who call themselves your real friend, will most times never tell you the truth even when it is obvious you are headed for self-destruct, they will only tell you what you will be so happy to hear and at the end you might never notice the shaky foundation, until your dreams collapse on you.

Do not say because you got criticized you want to give up, NO, it means you are been noticed for what you do, and it is left for you to decide if the criticism is constructive or destructive, then work from there.

If you give up on your dreams, another person will take it up from where you stopped, and they might even employ to help you complete theirs.

“If you do not get criticized for what you do, drop it now or check where you got it all wrong”

CONSISTENCY

Do you know why you hear of those names a lot? They are so consistent in there doings that when you think of any field, their names pop up in your mind.

You can play the name game, think any career and see how effortlessly some names would just come to your mind. Now think how cool it will be too, to think of a career and have your name popping out too. Well that is where consistency comes in.

This is the factor that attaches your name to whatever it is you are doing, that I why artists keep releasing albums, footballers always want to score, authors bring books constantly…. So why should you stop working?

Making a name is not as easy as it sound, because when you start, you will become just another struggler in a saturated field, but as soon as you continue dishing out your work without reservations and continuously, that is when you will start getting your needed attention and heads will start turning to your directions.

You might really know what you are doing or might have a lot to offer, but as soon as you become inconsistent, you will just become an unknown and struggling figure in a pool of failed under achievers.

So try to always be better in your act, work as if you are the only one and continue to give out your best!

IF YOU ARE READING THIS NOW, YOU ARE DESTINED FOR GREATNESS

Back when I was younger, with a very high tendency to committing offenses {I was very stubborn oh!}. I recalled a particular incident when me and some friends went in illegally to take fruits from my school orchard.

We went on our business by plucking down mangoes, almond, cashew, oranges… there were so many trees around. In our sheer moment of ecstasy, we threw caution to the wind, by talking incessantly and I think the watch man heard us, because the next minute, we saw him speeding towards us while brandishing his cudgel. We all dispersed, I kept on running till I saw an opening and I crawled in. I stayed there observing and when I thought the coast was clear, I crawled out.


When I glanced back to look at the space I crawled from, alas, it was a ROOT that had grown above the ground, looking up, the tree itself stretched into the sky. I stood there transfixed, because then, I had never seen anything like that, so big and the roots were big and thick. The king of all trees in the orchard I thought. Then, I felt a force tug at my collar, THE WATCHMAN! He found me, I could not say anything, all I could think of was the root of that tree, and as he dragged me to out to the headmasters office, I kept glancing backward until we took a bend, and the tree with its root went out of my sight, but never out of my mind till this day! {Mind you, I was punished, and out of fear, I never neared the orchard again, till I left that school}


To the present day now, both offline and online we come across well-established names in various facet of the human life just like the roots of that mighty tree in facets like, agriculture, medicine, music, football, medicine… the list goes on. Looking at the big frame, some questions come into the picture. Questions like:

• How did they manage to become this.
• How did they come this far
• What is there driving force?

The list goes on and every day we get bombarded with all sort of answers as to how you can discover a niche or space for yourself, develop it and get rooted just like the individuals you read about every day, so that one day people will read and talk about you too and you will be a force to reckon with.

I would have love to give you this article just like the way I do before but I will not be fulfilled, so I will like to make this a lecture series, whereby, we might get through in let’s say three weeks’ time so that we can cover our action plans later. {Please note, I am writing from one of my published books, so we will go in chapters and at my discretion}.



DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE

chapter ONE


There is something special about you that that you are yet to comprehend, and because of that most of us do things blindly and are always feeling untapped and unfulfilled. Today we have people living other people’s life by building their dream and they leave there’s dormant.
Am not saying everyone must be an inventor, entrepreneur… no, but there is a level of understanding you will attain, and even if you are doing some other things, you will always find time to do those activities that you appreciate.


“The truth about life is that you can only be a success when you are engaged in that particular activity you are good at, so if you want real happiness, continue with the activity that makes you happy” ---

When I say purpose, I want you to understand that I am referring to the dormant and innate skill in you, the one you did not go to school to learn but it is God-given. Everybody has something special about them, but the biggest problem is discovering what it is that you are good at, and sometimes I count myself very lucky. There is greatness deep down inside of you but you are yet to tap into it, so hold hands with me while I take you on a smooth ride.

Before I continue, let me tell you a little about myself and how I discovered myself. I wrote my first poem, when I was in junior secondary class two, but I felt it was an accident, so I gave up. When I got to senior secondary, I joined the science department, based on persuasion from my dad who wanted a doctor son and my teachers who felt I was too brilliant to be anywhere else.

Before, I knew what was happening, my writing and talking skills went overboard, I could do it anytime, anywhere without stress, it was part of me. I remembered one of my English test, an essay, my teacher scored me a nine from ten, then he called me to his office to know how I managed to that, he felt there was more but I was feeling so natural, it’s just like when I breath.

I was also doing great in math, further math, chemistry, physics and biology because, since I write very deep, I learnt to think very deep and quickly and so my understanding ability was skyrocketing because I write from abstract occurrence. Without boring you with extreme stories, I got admitted to the UNIVERSITY OF BENIN to study FISHERIES, in the FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE, even though I applied for MEDICINE.
{ do all the thinking and see that, most of us are in a vehicle riding away from our basic life’s direction.}
Though I never even knew what I wanted to be, I only know that I so love writing to inspire others and talking to them so they can feel better. Those were the only thing I do in life that really made me sleep well, that’s why today you are hearing the YOU INITIATIVE everywhere, and I believe I am doing so well, if not, you would not be reading this now.


Discovering that power in you to bend the world to your opinion, it is not something to toil with, that is why we have very few successful people today, when everybody has got the criteria to be a success, yes everyone, including YOU!
Now am not talking success in Lamborghini and Bentley, am talking success from doing what you are supposed to do. Do you love the sound of a guitar, then go get one and learn to play. Most times we gravitate towards fields that have acquired massive roots over the years and we tend to push on into a saturated market, see brother, you will only be dragging and sweating out for nothing.
Now, now orient you on how you can discover that power in you that is yet to be tapped, funny, but one of you out there can actually be a better writer than me, your age or sex is not a barrier, not even your country or state, skin color or disability.


EXERCISE WITH PRECIOUS:
Take a pen and paper now and answer these questions:
• What is your name?
• Do you enjoy your department (secondary), course (higher institution), career (working class)? If no, why?
• What do you always wish you were doing now, even when receiving a lecture or working, aside sleeping?
• What have you ever done that made a person say “wow, can’t believe you can do this!”
• Which famous person, do you always wish you were?
• What have you done that you really felt good about, or what will you do and you are sure that it will bring you happiness.
• Write down other things you would love in engage in.

TRAITS IN YOU THAT INEVITABLY LEADS TO FAILURE

GREETINGS TO YOU ALL

We have all come to the understanding that we play a very big role in whatever happens to us. But while you may seem so exemplary in your actions, there are some random traits you might exhibit sometimes or rather unknowingly that can put anybody off instantly. This leads to questions like:

• I did all I could, can’t figure out why it did not work.
• They never said anything, they just cut me off.
• I was better than the others, but I can’t tell why I was not selected.
• I know what I am doing, but I am not a success.


The list is endless, but those are for illustration so you will know where I am headed.
So now I have taken my time, after careful observations of a population of individuals, and below are some handpicked trait some of us possess and exhibit and they are definitely stumbling blocks towards our respective aspirations.


THE ISLAND MAN


Chances are you might have come across this trait in others, but I bet that you are also guilty.
Do you think that you know it all and nobody’s opinion count, or you feel you can do it on your own? Well here is a simple analogy, that earpiece and phone you use in blocking the world out by listening to music was not even built by a person. So, while I really respect people who stand out from others, it is cool sometimes if you can come out and know what others think, feel and see about a particular idea that you have, I bet that you will be so amazed to see brilliance in diversity coming to play.
When people notice this in you, they naturally gravitate away, some might even call you proud or a snub (obviously, that’s how they really act) and most times, they would never say this to your face but they would spread this around, and end up breaking down the wall of people around you, and since you want to stand alone, you definitely, will be alone now, MR. LONER!
Learn to say hi, how you doing, good morning … even to complete strangers, you might end up meeting up with them up ahead and always ask questions or you might make a bomb in ignorance and obliterate yourself!


THE UNGRATEFUL OGRE


You are so guilty of this that you are yet to say thank you to MR. PRECIOUS for this article (okay! Just kidding).
You are still guilty because you are yet to show appreciation to that caller, for food, for clothe… even to GOD.
I want you to understand that anything a person does for or to you, they have actually gone out of their own way and comfort zone just to put smile on your face, and since you cannot pay back, I do not know why a simple THANK YOU from you is like beating a dead horse to gallop.
If you show appreciation, you sure will get another, for crying out loud, if you know how your parents, friends, relatives… hustle from day to day, then the next time you get your allowance, gifts, school fees… you will shout a very big THANK YOU!
See this illustration, and say if it is fair. You give a fellow a gift of cash or anything and they just receive it from you as if it is their God-given birthright and to add salt to injury, the fellow did not even act or say anything appreciative. I believe really, that on that spot you will make a mental note never to help or show favour to such a person {do not say I am wrong now}. Well, that is how others feel when you act as if it is your RIGHT to receive without you been appreciative. Now wonder how many doors might have been closed to you just because you overlooked this minor act of been appreciative before.
Learn to show appreciation for simple things, that way you build your reputation and the esteem of the giver. So are you in a relationship? Be appreciative, to your parents always say thank you, even to your friend and strangers for any good they do to you. Even to kids too, show appreciation and let them learn that golden virtue!


THE TALKING ROBOT


Talking is very necessary, especially here where we promote communication and togetherness, but been a talkative is a very big NO! And I will personally give you a thousand yards! {I am serious!}.
Once you are tagged a talkative, Every dick and harry automatically sees you as a whistleblower, a plague, an attention seeker, an impolite fellow... and a non-secretive person, that alone is a bad attribute. SELF-DESTRUCTIVE!
No one will ever want you to catch a glimpse of their business, be a witness to any action they carry out… just because you cannot keep your lips together. The picture they will create of you is that of the exhaust pipe of a heavy duty truck emitting lead into the environment, polluting the atmosphere and killing people gradually.
Why not learn to be observant, think deep even before making a sentence and stop taking justice into your mouth. As at now, you are the Judas of the lot, and no one will ever want you in their business, because they do not trust you enough not to blow out to the world, their innermost plan!



RISKOPHOBIC {forgive me, just playing with words!}

You are so scared of taking risks that you take the very option of folding your hands and thinking all will fall into place. Now that is RISKY!
Why are you scared of taking risk when life itself is compounded with risk; every day you breath in dead cells, you board a vehicle and you do not know if the driver is sober or drunk, you put all your fortune in bank even when you cannot tell when they will fold up… every day you live with the risk of living or dying, a massive gamble, now tell me, what is more risky?
You just have to be daring and do not be scared of the outcome of any POSITIVE actions you take. How can you know what is behind the door without having it opened? So do not bother about failing because there is no better experience than failing and rising again to succeed.
Christopher Columbus must have been tagged a fool for daring to take the RISKY venture of circumnavigating the earth, but today he is known for discovering AMERICA, a name to reckon with when you mention world power. “Google” out Thomas Edison, Michael Faraday and others and see that risky ventures brings the best results, because it is for the strong-willed.
Forget what anyone will say and focus on accomplishing and setting milestones in ventures that ordinary people will tag risky. But be wise, the outcome must be positive in the long run before you engage in it, not like jumping into a volcano just to show how daring you are!


PUTTING GOD LAST


I intentionally put this last, because it’s what most of us do, including me! But frankly it is the truth; some of us have even forgotten his existence. To show how predictable we all are:
We woke up this morning, did a couple of push-ups, off to the bathroom and out, make and dress-up and after eating set out into the world. And if something good comes out that day, some will remember to say THANK GOD, and if otherwise {all actions coming in the negative}, we all say GOD WHY?
Do you know that sleeping and waking in its own sense is a MIRACLE, and the coolest part is that you are a beneficiary every day. If you think it is your doing, then please tell me how, because when I sleep, I can equate it with dying: because it is a state when I cannot tell what happens around, you can pinch or slap me and I will not budge… and what if the inevitable happens, like my heart stopping, am been attacked, can i even defend myself?
I am open to all freethinkers, naturalists and spiritualists. But we all know the truth even if we try to conceal it that there is an OMNIPRESENCE AND OMNISCIENCE GOD. But at least, let us learn to walk in his principles, as he supersedes all, watches, cares… and protect us all.
Always show him respect and always seek his guidance. Nothing is by chance; air, ocean… even life. There is a loving father behind it all and learning to acknowledge him will go a long way to rid you of many dramas in any facet of life you find yourself.

We have all come to the understanding that we play a very big role in whatever happens to us. But while you may seem so exemplary in your actions, there are some random traits you might exhibit sometimes or rather unknowingly that can put anybody off instantly. This leads to questions like:

• I did all I could, can’t figure out why it did not work.
• They never said anything, they just cut me off.
• I was better than the others, but I can’t tell why I was not selected.
• I know what I am doing, but I am not a success.


The list is endless, but those are for illustration so you will know where I am headed.
So now I have taken my time, after careful observations of a population of individuals, and below are some handpicked trait some of us possess and exhibit and they are definitely stumbling blocks towards our respective aspirations.


THE ISLAND MAN


Chances are you might have come across this trait in others, but I bet that you are also guilty.
Do you think that you know it all and nobody’s opinion count, or you feel you can do it on your own? Well here is a simple analogy, that earpiece and phone you use in blocking the world out by listening to music was not even built by a person. So, while I really respect people who stand out from others, it is cool sometimes if you can come out and know what others think, feel and see about a particular idea that you have, I bet that you will be so amazed to see brilliance in diversity coming to play.
When people notice this in you, they naturally gravitate away, some might even call you proud or a snub (obviously, that’s how they really act) and most times, they would never say this to your face but they would spread this around, and end up breaking down the wall of people around you, and since you want to stand alone, you definitely, will be alone now, MR. LONER!
Learn to say hi, how you doing, good morning … even to complete strangers, you might end up meeting up with them up ahead and always ask questions or you might make a bomb in ignorance and obliterate yourself!


THE UNGRATEFUL OGRE


You are so guilty of this that you are yet to say thank you to MR. PRECIOUS for this article (okay! Just kidding).
You are still guilty because you are yet to show appreciation to that caller, for food, for clothe… even to GOD.
I want you to understand that anything a person does for or to you, they have actually gone out of their own way and comfort zone just to put smile on your face, and since you cannot pay back, I do not know why a simple THANK YOU from you is like beating a dead horse to gallop.
If you show appreciation, you sure will get another, for crying out loud, if you know how your parents, friends, relatives… hustle from day to day, then the next time you get your allowance, gifts, school fees… you will shout a very big THANK YOU!
See this illustration, and say if it is fair. You give a fellow a gift of cash or anything and they just receive it from you as if it is their God-given birthright and to add salt to injury, the fellow did not even act or say anything appreciative. I believe really, that on that spot you will make a mental note never to help or show favour to such a person {do not say I am wrong now}. Well, that is how others feel when you act as if it is your RIGHT to receive without you been appreciative. Now wonder how many doors might have been closed to you just because you overlooked this minor act of been appreciative before.
Learn to show appreciation for simple things, that way you build your reputation and the esteem of the giver. So are you in a relationship? Be appreciative, to your parents always say thank you, even to your friend and strangers for any good they do to you. Even to kids too, show appreciation and let them learn that golden virtue!



THE TALKING ROBOT


Talking is very necessary, especially here where we promote communication and togetherness, but been a talkative is a very big NO! And I will personally give you a thousand yards! {I am serious!}.
Once you are tagged a talkative, Every dick and harry automatically sees you as a whistleblower, a plague, an attention seeker, an impolite fellow... and a non-secretive person, that alone is a bad attribute. SELF-DESTRUCTIVE!
No one will ever want you to catch a glimpse of their business, be a witness to any action they carry out… just because you cannot keep your lips together. The picture they will create of you is that of the exhaust pipe of a heavy duty truck emitting lead into the environment, polluting the atmosphere and killing people gradually.
Why not learn to be observant, think deep even before making a sentence and stop taking justice into your mouth. As at now, you are the Judas of the lot, and no one will ever want you in their business, because they do not trust you enough not to blow out to the world, their innermost plan!



RISKOPHOBIC {forgive me, just playing with words!}

You are so scared of taking risks that you take the very option of folding your hands and thinking all will fall into place. Now that is RISKY!
Why are you scared of taking risk when life itself is compounded with risk; every day you breath in dead cells, you board a vehicle and you do not know if the driver is sober or drunk, you put all your fortune in bank even when you cannot tell when they will fold up… every day you live with the risk of living or dying, a massive gamble, now tell me, what is more risky?
You just have to be daring and do not be scared of the outcome of any POSITIVE actions you take. How can you know what is behind the door without having it opened? So do not bother about failing because there is no better experience than failing and rising again to succeed.
Christopher Columbus must have been tagged a fool for daring to take the RISKY venture of circumnavigating the earth, but today he is known for discovering AMERICA, a name to reckon with when you mention world power. “Google” out Thomas Edison, Michael Faraday and others and see that risky ventures brings the best results, because it is for the strong-willed.
Forget what anyone will say and focus on accomplishing and setting milestones in ventures that ordinary people will tag risky. But be wise, the outcome must be positive in the long run before you engage in it, not like jumping into a volcano just to show how daring you are!


PUTTING GOD LAST


I intentionally put this last, because it’s what most of us do, including me! But frankly it is the truth; some of us have even forgotten his existence. To show how predictable we all are:
We woke up this morning, did a couple of push-ups, off to the bathroom and out, make and dress-up and after eating set out into the world. And if something good comes out that day, some will remember to say THANK GOD, and if otherwise {all actions coming in the negative}, we all say GOD WHY?
Do you know that sleeping and waking in its own sense is a MIRACLE, and the coolest part is that you are a beneficiary every day. If you think it is your doing, then please tell me how, because when I sleep, I can equate it with dying: because it is a state when I cannot tell what happens around, you can pinch or slap me and I will not budge… and what if the inevitable happens, like my heart stopping, am been attacked, can i even defend myself?
I am open to all freethinkers, naturalists and spiritualists. But we all know the truth even if we try to conceal it that there is an OMNIPRESENCE AND OMNISCIENCE GOD. But at least, let us learn to walk in his principles, as he supersedes all, watches, cares… and protect us all.
Always show him respect and always seek his guidance. Nothing is by chance; air, ocean… even life. There is a loving father behind it all and learning to acknowledge him will go a long way to rid you of many dramas in any facet of life you find yourself.

5 DEADLY MISTAKES EVERY UNDERGRADUATE MAKE UNKNOWINGLY

Every day we come across a lot of people, mostly young individuals with vision for a brighter tomorrow. But when you sit with them and ask the deeper questions as to why they make some decisions, they seem to have no clue to what they have done. Analyzing the situation, I came across some blunder that they have committed on the long run, amongst them are five listed below:

THINKING INSIDE THE BOX


As a statement it sounds very okay, but its contextual meaning in the educational terrain, seems bizarre. Most students today do not actually know what is happening around them, as all they seem concerned about is classes, reading textbooks and materials given to them by their respective lecturers… so in the long run, they get good grades and they are promoted to the next level. Does it actually end there?
Many have forgotten that school is just an eye opener to what the real world offers. That is why today we have graduates with 1st class and 2nd class with no specific skill and they complain of not been employed, when they cannot even open MSWORD with a mouse or even shutdown a computer. They would go ahead to blame the witches of their mother’s and father’s land for every misfortune when in the real sense they cannot even hold down a steady conversation on topics like sports, politics, music, books… think outside the box and see what the real world has got to offer.

“School will only sharpen you but your skills will decorate you”



LEARNING TO WRITE A Curriculum Vitae MENTALITY


Knowing the entails of writing a very good CV is not a bad idea in its own sense. But have you asked yourself what life will be like without writing a CV? Or is it a bad idea to have people submitting to you as against you submitting yours and putting your fate and destiny in another person hands, when sometimes they would not even look through it, is that not touching?.
I believe writing a CV in the long run will condition your mind that you have to be employed by a person which is not a bad idea in its self, but the truth is you will never get a better shot at life. But not putting all your effort into writing a CV, will open a window of opportunity because then your thinking is not caged and thus, while you think of a person employing you, you can also think of creating employment and employing others, a win-win situation right?.
But come to think of it, the wealthiest and influential people in the world today never sat down to write a CV (In doubt? Google is your friend). So friend, instead use that paper as a drawing board and sketch the structure of a perfect business plan with the little you have and see your little efforts become positively viral.

“Do not waste time thinking on how to write a killer and enticing CV, instead waste that time in thinking how you can make your life better even with your little resources.”



SELF PITY AND REGRETS


The duos are perfect dream assassins. Do not ever plunge into their arms. For nothing should you regret where you find yourself, what course you are studying… or pity yourself for nothing, because if you do, you will never make it in life.
Do not sit and compare yourself to your neighbors who are studying engineering, medicine, law or what have you, for they do not guarantee life security. Your security comes from within, so please overlook the bandwagon that scorn your course of study and focus on building a niche for yourself in any sector that you find yourself.
Look deep and realize what it is you love doing most and then go ahead to integrate it with what you are doing now and if you do not make it in life, doubt my credibility. Life and wealth is up for grabs to those that are daring, so let others waste their time in laughter while it actually becomes your driving force and motivator.


“Please do not seek admission every year, but learn a new skill every year”


WRONG COMPANY


You want to be a success, please do not be found in the wrong side of town.
If you should have friends, I recommend people who are better and well experienced than you or you can look for people who are on the same wavelength with you, be it in aspirations and driving factors.
Friends can so influence you that I can say categorically that sometimes whatever you become is directly an impact from the actions of the friend you keep. Show me your friend and I will tell who you are.
Do not mingle with loafers, cultist, jesters, party captains and lords, smokers and sniffers… or else by now I think you should know that your life is taking a headlong fall into the ocean of destruction.
In short, anyone that cannot add to your life in any way (physically, spiritually, morally, technically…) should be BLACKLISTED. There should be no room for complacency, because the road is far ahead and any extra baggage should be dropped.

“The more friends you have, the more fun you will have. The fewer friend you have, the fewer your problems!”


NO PLAN


This is the deadliest of all mistakes, because if you have not set any plans for tomorrow, brother, this is a free ride to failure, no hidden charges.
We all join the rat race to higher institutions and after that what’s next? We get hooked up in life’s traffic jam!
The main reason you will fail is when you do not even have a plan, so study medicine or guidance and counseling, but without plans, you are NOTHING!
Learn to set goals and plan on how to achieve them. Set task and work towards them. Do not ever think that your parents will always be there to pay your bills or feel you will always get free food and rides. That’s a big fantasy, wake up!
Make achievable plans and set structures to meet them, it might take weeks or months, but what matters is that you are working towards something, unlike others who are working towards nothing.
