Well you didn't understand wella, those battery sucking components that came with that phone, and it's battery is made with lithium polymer, which is also used for 95% tecno and infinix phones. After which they start degrading in SOT. I don't have anything against the phone sir, just stating my own view point from user's opinions and reviews. And we can all be proven wrong anytime

Me too it was my primary option of a new phone till I came across the X5 the base version of both is 3/32 and from people's opinion I was satisfied with the X5... It all boils down to personal preference.. with the budget I was having the X5 was a no brainer..
If you get the extra 12K by all means get the RN7 if otherwise the X5 is a better alternative

Enough of all these arguments Abeg.. Any x6 user here please how is your battery Life? Mine cuts like 2% under 1min.. It's really frustrating I don't play games not doing any heavy stuff on it..

Bro just try turn anything you're not using off location, WiFi, BT reduce brightness, turn battery saver on etc but I guess after few days the battery will stabilize I might be wrong tho.. have you updated to Pie??

First and foremost nobody said X5 is better than RN7..
See ehn your comparisons have not been fair to the X5 in every department..
CPU: newer
Camera 25MP difference with option of GCAM as well
Build: about 6-7 months difference
Battery: 940mah difference
Price: about 12k difference
Screen 1080p and 720p...
So in all ramifications the RN7 has better everything even has better customisation (MiUi) out of the box..

So tell me if the X5 isn't putting up a good fight??

Can be done with software if the hardware supports it.. when we used to root phones I've underclocked my CPU to give me a better battery performance and less heating..

Hellio P60 is more battery efficient than SD 660? Based on what theory exactly?... You people are really funny on this thread!!!... I can categorically confirm that my Redmi Note 7 (SD660) lasts 24hrs on a Single Charge with standby 4G and endless usage, while my Nokia 5.1 plus (Hellio P60) doesn't last more than 16hrs on same usage... I have both phones and have been using them hand in hand seeing the difference and I give real life comparisons... But you guys just go all out to Assume stuff, its really Amazing

We only corrected him that P60 is currently being compared to 660.
Okay say the Nokia X5 also had a 4Kmah battery what would you think about the battery performance..

to show you actually dont know what you are saying, helio p60 is actually a more capable processor than the snapdragon 636 in Nokia 6.1, however if x5 is clocked at the full capacity, it will be faster and better than sd636, so to avoid shooting themselves in the feet, the helio p60 was underclocked.

X5 has its own pros and cons so does the X6 if you want better display, better Camera better ram and ROM X6 is there all these are just what I call marketing Them no go sell another phone??

Nokia released X5 first for the Chinese market (with no android one branding or Gapps cos Google is banned in China) with P60 clocked at 2.0ghz and limited (major Chinese) LTE bands then later launched the global version (5.1plus) with P60 clocked at 1.8ghz and all global LTE bands.. So the X5 has the fully capable P60. Since what we got was X5 (that's why all the write in the box, manuals and what not all in Chinese language) was flashed with global rom here we are..

the mtk processor with the highest rave on this forum is p60 and that's cos of the x5, aside that there is no proof that mtk processors are power efficient and so you would also know, the helio p60 in Nokia x5 is underclocked and not even functioning at its full potential of 2.0ghz its functioning at 1.8ghz so its slower but more power efficient plus a 720p display so its supposed to be power efficient, enough corners were cut.
So x5 surprising you isn't anything, mtk processors have been lagging behind snapdragon processors both in performance and functions and even in power consumption too. Of course you and Mizik can disprove me

The P60 in the X5 is actually clocked at 2.0ghz while it is 1.8ghz in the 5.1plus little little details.. that's one of if not the major difference between X5 and 5.1plus.

Bros YouTube is there for a reason.. my previous device was a SD820 2016 flagship and I can't really notice too much difference with the P60.. Even when playing PUBG the highest I could go was HD graphics with high FPS on both devices..

In terms of battery the Nokia X5 performs head and shoulders above the competition with 3060mah battery. I get on average 8hrs 30mins SoT from 100 to <10% with 4G.. then 9hrs+ when I'm out of data just watching movies or candy crushing..
You'd expect the Redmi 7 to perform better cos it got 940 more MaH goto Xiaomi thread to confirm this then comeback here to compare

The picture quality of the X5 is going to better if you're using the default camera settings on the RN7...
Reason being to use the 48mp you'll have to goto Pro mode and toggle the 48mp on before you can fully utilize whole 48mp..
SD 660 on the RN7 don't support upto 48MP so what you're getting is basically 12MP being software interpolated to 48mp.. or better still one 12mp photo shot 4times..
If it were the RN7 pro that has true 48mp sensor.. Then the results would've been very different

Well I did not use Oreo for even 10mins when I unboxed I just did the android 9 update and I can tell you I get 8hrs+ on heavy usage I use X5 btw

Like I said before 48MP can't be compared to 13 and also hope you know by default the RN7 shoots 12MP camera..

4000MaH being compared to 3060MaH...

If you have the additional 11K or thereabout go buy your Redmi Note 7..
Otherwise you get the X5...

Been using one 64gb mcard for more than a year.. when I got the X5 was transferring stuffs from my previous phone to the SD card at a point couldn't move again was having about 20gb left couldn't delete stuffs too I just abandon em but I can only move from the SD card... When I get a card reader I'll just try and format it if it'll work if not I order from AE.

X5 battery will outlast note 7's battery, and will hold charge longer than in note 7, because it's made with li-ion. The note 7 beat the X5 wella in anything relating to screen, and the Ir features in those note series are great also

Another reason X5 is having a 720p screen which also means less power consumption and a battery efficient mediatek chip..
