For the second time this year, I did HSG on Saturday and got the shocking result of blocked fallopian tubes.

Pls, what's the best solution here
Hydrotubation?
Herbs?
Orthodox medicines?
IVF? I no get money for this ooo
Pls kindly educate me based on experiences.

My Experience

In 2019, I had similar issue, (Bilateral polycystic ovaries). My gynaecologist kept bumping me with ovulation drugs(Clomid) which further altered my body systems and created more problems to me.
There was no success... Then, I was weighing 85kg.
I stopped every treatments and went on my own to research extensively about PCOS, i discovered that my weight was the culprit.

WIDD
2020, I placed myself and my husband on a healthy lifestyle. No soda, No alcohol.. No Junk foods... No Canned food... Everything natural, greeny and healthy.
I joined a Facebook group called Healthy lifestyle with Kaffy... I followed all their routines with prayers...

Two months into it, I was so consistent and I lost some weight.from 85kg to 75kg, that month, I started ovulating on my own and I took in that month without any ovulation drugs.

The most confusing thing is that I see that egg white discharge and I also get mid cycle pain.

I'm just tired of this infertility issue.

Hello everyone,

I was told I have bilateral polycystic ovarian cyst. I got to find out during follicular tracking from CD 10 through CD 19.
I guess that was the reason I wasn't ovulating.

I asked my gynaecologist way forward, he asked me to come when my period begins. That he needs to stimulate me to ovulate.

Is there any natural means of clearing up the cysts
I'm weighing 80kg.

Pls experienced momma's, guide me pls.

Please what can make period to be late by more than 10 days? Pregnancy test was negative after that, and no other symptoms.
Been having scanty flow since after myomectomy last year.

Like we are in same shoe after myomectomy.
Mine was late for 9 days, period started on 10th day.
I just changed hospital.
Let me know what is really going on.

Good morning everyone

For about 2 years now I have been having heavy periods with frequent pelvic pain. So I went for scan and it turns out that I have large fibroids and bulky uterus.

my own is sad because instead of adding weight I don thin finish, I can’t go out again i don’t even look like myself anymore .I have been to so many hospitals in this Lagos and the price I'm hearing is in millions. I don google tire and still can’t find a good and affordable hospital I am seeing different types of surgery sef, like minimally invasive myomectomy, fibroid embolization and HIFU.
The doctor I saw last week said My Bp isvery high and my matter don reach emergency and I need surgery ASAP but I don’t trust the hospital because my friend did hers there since December and she has still not fully healed and they butchered her , her scar is terrible.
I have heard of people who did theirs and went home next day, Please I need help on affordable and experienced surgeons or hospitals

Yes yes yes... My God has done it again, we went for a blood pt yesterday evening and it came out a big fat positive, u need to see how I was jumping and hugging the lab guy, God answers prayers, on Monday I joined Nsppd miracle service and the pastor mentioned my case he said we should carry our baby, meanwhile my wife and i were expecting our period, I told God to replace period with pregnancy, and he answered us, in this TTc journey we need God..



This time my wife and I will carry to term,in Jesus name..

Tests were carried out on 2nd and 21st day.
Hubby is yet to do SFA.
I did scan Feb. But will do a new one by Thursday. Also did HSG Feb. Tubes are patent.

It's just frustrating.

I'm yet to see a man state whether he was a virgin or not when they come with their male infertility issues. I do not understand why women burden themselves with labels (virgins vs abortionists) when it is clear as day that TTC doesn't respect labels. Anyone can have hormonal imbalance leading to annovulation or fibroids/infection that blocks the tubes. Infections that can cause tubal blockage arent all sexually transmitted. A yeast infection plus douching will lead to it.



@Preciousify, Yes you are judging Or do you feel they dont deserve another child because they committed abortion? Or people shouldnt get pregnant because they were sexually active before marriage?
I believe you kept yourself until marriage for personal/spiritual reasons so be proud of yourself that you did. Unfortunately the reward for marrying a virgin isnt immediate pregnancy......because life just happens.


To your test result: If progesterone was done o day 21 you are most likely not ovulating. Prolactin, even though still within the normal range, is on a high side..work on reducing it.
If you haven't redone a HSG after your myomectomy go do it to ensure tubal patency. Someone also asked about your husbands SFA...it takes 2 to procreate.

I have done HSG, tubes are patent.
Scan says everything is normal.
No infection
Period comes normal.

Hubby is yet to do SFA.

It almost a year I had myomectomy, nothing has happened.
I married as a virgin,!!!
I'm frustrated already.
Even people I know committed abortion, have their children already. Some are pregnant. No, I am not judging anyone.
But, it's frustrating??
I kept myself.
All tests are ok
I don't know why pregnancy has not come.
I won't loose hope, everything will fall in place in Jesus name Amen.

You can re-do the hsg so the tubes can be visualised to rule out any blockage.

Also do hormonal profile in a reputable lab to chk that all hormones are in order.
I believe scan was done to ascertain that all fibroids were removed in the myomectomy?
If these two tests are ok,then you can baby dance all you want. Your bfp is on the way! Sooner than u think. God bless.

I am back!!!
I went for myomectomy 6 months ago.
I am now actively trying to conceive.
Pls help me with all necessary info and tests I need to do. I did HSG before the surgery but fallopian tubes were not seen because of the fibroid size.
I married 11months ago, that was when I started having sex.
I'm currently on folic acid and prayers.
What else should I do pls

If you are in Lagos. Google sound scan diagnostic center. At Coker. They are good. 15k is the cost for hsg.

I mean, how do you negotiate 30k as salary after graduating from school cos that money is an insult to a graduate, it's a fvcking peanut.

It wasn't easy.

After service, no job was forthcoming and I needed one so badly because I wouldn't accept staying at home with my sister in-law who would always lash at me for not getting married early enough to leave her house. God no be man. I am happily married now, though still job hunting.

The 30k was their fixed salary for the position. I decided to manage. I had resumed when they told me about the deduction of dispenser water, compulsory 1k for welfare, et al.
Maybe I should say I was desperate for a job that time. I had to take whichever one that came my way.

Life is tough on graduates.

I have been in that situation before.

I was paid 30k as a graduate. I didn't mind.
Tax was deducted from that peanut, dispenser water we drink in the office was deducted from the salary and a complusory 1k was deducted for welfare.

I usually close between 7pm and 9pm, waiting for the MD to go so I could lock up and go with the keys to the office.
7am, I am already at work to open the door for the cleaner to work.

I endured all these because my house was not far, I could trek or bike #100 to my house.

Then you face all sort of insults from the MD at any slightest mistake.

I got fed up, submitted my resignation letter. Then, they wanted to increase my salary, I told them my mind was made up already.

That was how I left.

It's very annoying how sole owners of companies treat their employees.
