Generally, I think the idea is when you extend a vowel in a verb it means the opposite. Here are some example: "Ogbara" means he kicked while "Ogbaa" means he didnt kick. "Okwara" means he cried while "Okwaa" means he didnt. Based on what I know, Ahuumgi is "I did not see you" while "Ahurumgi" is I saw you".

I think u are wrong here.

Okwara akwa = means he/she cried. Okwaa akwa! also means cried.
Okwaghi akwa= mean he/she did not cry.

You can remove the akwa and it still means the same thing.

They are travelling to the city(SE) so they have to buy foodstuffs from the rural area(Benue) and those in rural area are happy selling to them cos, once they travel for like two weeks nobody in the rural area(BENUE) can afford to pay the price of those food stuffs.
