Did you notice, the enormous strides made not just in renovating but equiping these schools? Which would have impacted the quality of education more? Channeling the resources for building new schools into resurcitating old ones or using the resources to errect a school from start to completion?

Which strides?, take a back seat pls. Churches took back their schools and run them according to their standards, they employ their teachers and pay them. Obi was only budgeting funds for education and diverting a larger chunk into his pocket.

You can only speak for your state governors who are in the habit of denying LG the allocations due to them. There are governors who do not stifle LG of funding and Lagos governors are a perfect example.
