APC has focused on infrastructure what was the results?

PDP focuses on human capital development
What was the results

Abia had no infrastructure for years but akwa ibom with beat infrastructure depended on her

Truth is there before your eyes but no you don't want to see it

Kee building infrastructure that cant break even

You think Lagos metrol can survive on its own without state government subsidies? Lmaooo
You're a fat little illiterate, you just sit down behind your phone typing bullshit coming off your head. How can you develop human capital without infrastructure?, you container illiterate.

mrvitalis:
APC has focused on infrastructure since 2015 yet our economy is shrinking

Obi and educated Nigerians have been saying it

Infrastructure doesn't grow your economy it doesn't it's just a catalyst but without the main reactants it's nothing

Investing in human capital development is what grew our economy

APC have blown $300 billion dollars worth of GDP focusing on useless infrastructures that can't even break even

How much would coastal line generate?

How much are the rails generating

Instead at least to extend the warri rail to Abuja at least

Our GDP would fall to $120 billion if Tinubu rules for 8 years
Here they come again, "infrastructure does not grow the economy" bullshit. The misinformation of container traders.

Peter Obi belongs to mediocre class.
He's beyond mediocre, someone placed a bet of $10,000 if any of his followers could show a school he started, completed and commissioned, till now, nobody has come out to show a proof, they are all hiding.

Trust me, the president's media team will ignore him as usual. Only an idiot will say a road infrastructure that'd pass through 8 states with the inclusion of train track is not a priority. Pls, someone should inform him that "the presidential borehole" he dug in Zaira has stopped working within two weeks, that should be his priority.

One dollar is about 1000 naira.

If we sold fuel for N1 , to pay for the subsidy, we would need to spend our entire budget plus extra money in loans to get there.

As at now, government says we are spending 600 billion naira monthly on subsidy. An estimate for the month of feb put it at N1 trillion for that month. That is to keep fuel between N580-700. Imagine what it would be if it cost more.
Which Government agency or official told you they are spending 600billion on subsidy?, why are you being ridiculous, dishonest and unamenable?, grow up.
Politics › Re: Port Harcourt Refinery: Marketers Eye ₦‎500/litre Petrol, Set To Load by PressMyButton: 6:12am On Apr 21, 2024
I was telling them on the thread when wailers were jubilating on the news on FP that PH was set for December, I said the mechanical works had already be completed while test running is ongoing and that marketers will be lifting fuel anytime soon. If your life is dedicated to negativity and bad energy, our own lives are dedicated to good, that's why good things follow us always.

Naira went haywire and "some people" were celebrating but inwardly we were laughing at them. It is no longer a secret, Aso rock knows " some people" and their mindset for this country. I can only pity this category of "some people" and if you're in this group, i cry for you. Shettima has dropped a hint- "inwardly". You guys are the noise makers, wishing evils on the country and celebrating any semblance of negativity but inwardly, those at the top are laughing at you, they know exactly how to deal with you and put you in your level. Silence, they say is golden.

Bulldozer90:
No. A saner society has what we call national value which hardwork is a major component. A poor attempt to create this is the reason you have manual labour in Nigerian schools. A saner society train children to be productive at a younger age. China does it and east Asians do it. Even the west considered lowering minimum working age. Perhaps if Nigeria does it, you would have had job by now and stopped rationalizing joblessness, laziness and misery.
Child labour is a crime in China, dimwit.

Illiterate theoretical economist, you're controlling importation with which substitutes?
Do you know how many that has died because they can no longer afford drugshuh I think you need to go start from your SS3 economics and stop sounding professional while you're misleading people!
CBN has repeatedly implemented what I wrote up there!!
Do you know how much dollars we spend on imports annually compared to the shortages in reserves?. If you want drugs, sit down your lazy ass and produce drugs locally. You don't bleed the economy because of importation, you are myopic sighted.

working is also part of learning. When I lived in Onitsha. One man owned a large pharmacy shop with workers. when his son comes back from school, he hardly stayed 30mins before going to join the sales as the man had other business to attend to. There is no drug in the world dude didn't know with their functions and categories. He even teaches pharmacy interns before entering the university.
In a saner society, he would be punished and lose the custody of the child. I don't blame your mentality, i blame the society.

735i:
The effort should be on completely removing export bottlenecks.
What you don't realize is that it's easier to import into Nigeria than it is to export out of Nigeria.
Also, in reality, customs shouldn't be focused on generating revenue. How can a gatekeeper be charged with generating revenue?
Customs shouldn't generate revenue?, Is there any customs in the world that doesn't generate revenue from relevant custom duties?. Our border should be thrown wide open for all kinds of commodities coming in and going out?, stop clowning.
Politics › Re: Customs Reduces Exchange Rate For Import Duties Payment by PressMyButton: 6:46pm On Apr 19, 2024
ogaontop:
You've come again with your upside-down economics, when it was at the peaks, what and what did we produce and export?
See, till today, there is no substitution for those things we import! More production companies are even closing up due to high costs and unfavourable policies.
Finally, bookmark this, before ending May, the custom duty will go below N1,000.
You did prove you're more economist than the CBN governor and the economic team!
The increase in the duty is more of revenue generation. Customs has generated about 1.5 trillion in the first quarter of the year!! More than 10% of the budget is being funded by the Customs.
You're an illiterate, an economy that is battling with forex shortages, inflation, must control importation and that's what CBN is doing.

You're a joke, a very big joke. You guys just sit behind your phone spewing trash. Would you rather we encourage excessive importation at the detriment of the naira?, knowing the much lower the custom rate, the more pressure on the dollar. At this point, we can't afford too low custom rate while stabilizing the naira, else it will be counter-productive.

I will not engage you on this bro
Those small ibo boys were picked up from the village to become child slaves to their Oga in the cities. After serving for 6,7,8years, their Ogas refused to settle them, some are given half settlement. Some, after being settled are tied to their Oga's apron. These boys have also devised ways to defraud and loot from their Ogas as retaliation. They steal and run away to begin a fresh start elsewhere. Ibo apprenticeship is a pure form of mordern child slavery.

This is what I wanted to ask too

Did they include igba-boi in this statistics?

Igba-boi is not childs labour. It's a form of apprenticeship. Most Great Igbo Businessmen started from Igba-boi
Igba boi are the number one in the category of child slavery. A lot of people denigrate Ebonyians but the truth is Anambra boys are at the top of the ladder, the ibo apprenticeship system is a form of formal child slavery acceptable among ibo society.

Don't mind them ewedu gobblers grin statisense has been hitting them back to back with unadulterated truths concerning their fake lagos Ibadan expressway media lies since last year cheesy

Now they have started calling nwa boy igbos learning a trade 'live in house helps' due to hate, jealousy and envy lol of the igbos and their 2 by 2 shops

Chei! Agbad0rians sha
There's no child labour worse than igba/nwa boi. It is an organised child labour with the complicity of the parents. In a situation whereby these boys literally become servants for their masters and their madams at home. They sleep inside the containers, wake up early to open the shop, run errands for Oga madam in the day, clean up the poo of Oga's kids, go to their Oga's house to wash plates and clean the toilets, all for a plate of food. Nwa boys go through the most pathetic condition of existence.

Stop delving into things you don't understand. A simple Google search would've cured your brazen ignorance. Who are the 'more serious people'? You think say $1.3 billion deal na beans.
Get the F outta here, there are several richer investors ready to submit their bids and buy off the investment. SEPLAT and his sloppy ass who couldn't seal a deal for two and half years can get the F outta tha way.

Arthur Eze major investment is outside Nigeria
Emeka is mainly a contractor

SEplat would become the largest producer of crude with this deal
Shut the F up and stop lying. Arthur Eze owns an oil bloc in the country as well as Emeka Offor. If SEPLAT is too sloppy to invest, he should get the F off and allow others enter in the contract.

they don't want an Igbo man controlling such volume of oil
Do Arthur Eze, Emeka Offor and co, not have oil blocs?. Why is SEPLAT delaying?. If he is not ready yet, he'd better step aside and allow more serious people take over and stop your victim mentality. Nigeria oil blocs is not your village property.
