In terms of ethnicity, Igbos produce more onshore crude oil in Nigeria than any other group and that's a fact!

Now, in terms of regions, SE only comes second after SS while SW comes last!

Below is the latest statistics about allocations to states based on crude oil production for last year and despite the fact that Anambra wasn't added, Imo and Abia States combined had far more than Ondo, the only SW state producing crude oil. By the time Anambra is included and Imo's crude oil fully accounted for, then you will see that SW is not even in the equation.

We're saying the same thing in a different way, either by oil production or allocations, SE is the least of all the region. Aside Lagos, Ogun has oil in commercial quantities but that's not even any of my business.
