A lady has reportedly broken up with her husband-to-be for getting a small house which they’d live in once legally married.

According to one @JIKAN_BABA on Twitter, the woman called off the wedding, not minding that she and her man had dated for 10 years.


Her fiance took her to the house but she complained that it was too small for her and demand a bigger one, saying if he does not grant her wish, she would cancel the wedding.

The post reads; “My cousin’s wedding has been called off after 10years of courtship, he took her there to see working progress and she said the house is too small for her, n if he’s not getting a bigger one they should just call if the wedding.

The family of Kwara State Police inspector, Taiye Atobiloye, who died in a cell at the ‘D Division’ of the Kogi State Police Command following his detention, has demanded the sum of N20 million as compensation.

The officer was reportedly detained for being absent from duty for two days at the Zone 8 Command, Lokoja.


The family’s counsel, A.G. Ademola-Bank, in a release, said the police had done the “abominable by being negligent and insensitive to the medical condition of the deceased, which occasioned his untimely death.”

He said the family had identified the inspector’s corpse at the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, and given their consent for an autopsy to unravel the cause of his death.

In addition to the N20m compensation, the family also demanded a thorough investigation into the cause of the death of the inspector, a public apology, immediate payments of all the deceased’s entitlement and funding of his burial.

It was earlier reported that Atobiloye, attached to the Oke Onigbin Division in Kwara State, was deployed to Kogi for special duty called Quick Intervention for a month.

However, a month after resumption, the policeman with service number 232980 went absent without leave for two days but was later found. As punishment for his absence without permission, Atobiloye was detained in a cell.

A source said the policeman languished in the cell for eight days, and consequently died in detention.

The source said; “What happened was that every month, the Zone 8 Command usually picks policemen from every division and posts them for special duty for a month in Zone 8 Command, Lokoja, and after one month, the policemen will return home.

“So, Atobiloye, who was attached to the Oke Onigbin Division, was part of the policemen posted to the Zone 8 Command, Lokoja, but when he resumed, he didn’t come for work for two days and was punished by being detained in a cell for about eight days.

“It was when policemen checked on him in the cell that they realised he had slumped and died in the cell. At the cell he was detained, only offending policemen are usually detained there, so it is likely he was alone in the cell.”

Spokesperson for the Zone 8 Command, Ruth Awi, claimed that after Atobiloye reported for special duty at the command, he absconded from duty and was nowhere to be found for two days until policemen found him

Nigerian social media Influencer, Adeoluwa Enioluwa, has recreated former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s iconic picture with the former president of the United States, Jimmy Carter from 1977.

He took to his social media handles on Friday and shared his own version of the photos that set the internet abuzz.


The picture of Carter, the 39th President of the United States (1977 to 1981) with Obasanjo was taken at the White House on October 7 1977.

Those on Grade Level 8 Step 2 earn about N900,071 per annum (before deductions). That is about N75,000 per month

NDLEA HND holders are placed on Grade Level 7 Step 1 and earn about N54,000 per month (before deductions).

A young Nigerian man has been captured on tape celebrating after he passed his Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board exams with flying colours.

JAMB released the results of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on May 2 and the lucky student scored 270.


It was gathered that he has written the tertiary entrance exam for four time and during his fifth trial, he passed the general cut off mark of 140.

Residents trooped out to the street to break into celebratory moves and cheers after the guy revealed what his JAMB score is.

A young girl has broken down in tears after checking her 2023 JAMB results and seeing a score she felt was very poor.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board released the results of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on May 2.


The female student was totally devastated when she saw that she scored 250 in the tertiary entrance examination.

In a video making the rounds on social media, she could be seen wailing and expressing disappointment at herself.

A friend who was standing close to her tried to console the girl but it seemed to trigger her pain even more.

A man has been captured on camera producing counterfeit new naira notes that look exactly like the real currency.

He was seen in a studio-like apartment with two other people making many copies of the note and cutting them to size so that it could pass for the original.


The person who recorded the video showed off a finished sample of the counterfeit and many people would most likely fall victim if it were used for transactions because only an expert can differentiate it from the one produced by CBN.

A 32-year-old Nigerian man has gone online to seek a way out of the dilemma he’s found himself in as a result of going into a relationship with a sugar mummy.

He said the woman who’s approaching 50 years wants him to marry her but he is not interested in settling down with.

According to the man, one of the things scaring him about is the fact that she has eight grown children an he would have to be their stepdad.

He revealed that she takes care of him and sustains him financially, however, he does not want to spend the rest of his life with an old woman.

He wrote; “Am a 32 years old man.. My life is full of confusion now.. I do not know my left from right.. My sugar mummy want me to marry her .

This woman is close to 50 years of age. She is the one sustaining me financially. I don’t want to marry an old woman who have 8 grown kids what should I do.”

In similar news, a young man known as David has narrated his ordeal with a sugar mummy he met that nearly made him lose his life during their first bedroom activity.

He said he met her on social media after haven searched for someone like her for a very long time. She told him that she’s had some sugar boys that disappointed her so he promised to give her quality service.

According to the 25-year-old guy, she took him home where two of her friends were waiting and just two of them got down to action first which the other women watching them.

After sometime, her friends joined them but David said he did not decline because he wanted to prove himself to all of them.

However, they exhausted him so much that he knew that i he did not stop it may lead to him collapsing, so he found a way to escape through the bathroom.

David narrated; “I had been looking for a sugar mommy for a very long period until I finally met one on social media. We linked up and chilled together and we were having random conversations. She was actually telling me how she had different sugar boys who never satisfy her in bedand how she wasted her money on them.

The next thing I saw was tears rolling down her eyes. In my mind, so the woman is just crying because of not getting what she wants from men. I told her I was going to make her forget her past. We drove off to her place, on reaching there, I met two of her other friends who were in her house. I was like what’s all this one doing here by this time, I greeted them and she showed me the way to her room. I showered and I was waiting for her.

To my greatest surprise, she and her friends all came to the room and were smiling, I didn’t say a word. We started making out in front of her friends. After 1, 2, 3 and 4 rounds, I was tired. She was still asking for more rounds. One of her friends then said to me, “this one you are tired just after 4 rounds, I hope you aren’t the lazy type. They all laughed. In my mind, “I’m going to prove these women wrong tonight”, so we continued. Her Friend joined us this time, I was really weak that I couldn’t even move again. When I realize that the situation was getting out of hand, I said I wanted to use the restroom. I had to use the opportunity to run for my life.”

A South African lady, Nana Wanido, has revealed how she got money from her father by engaging in love scam.

She said that they both matched on e-dating and matchmaking platform, Tinder but he did not know it was his daughter because she used a catfish account.



The young woman who shared this through her Twitter account on 29th April, said that he had just sent her money.

She seemed excited that she was able to squeeze out some funds from her dad under false pretense.

A young Nigerian boy has appreciated his mother for all her love and care by gifting her an essential household item.

He just cashed out a huge sum of money from an unknown source and bought a freezer worth N160,000 for his mum.

It is not yet clear what he does for a living or how he got the money, but his parents did not seem interested in knowing how their son could afford the appliance.

A video which is circulating on social media shows him showering his mother with money after delivering the freezer to her at the family home.

His dad came out looking surprised and there was also a trumpeter the kid hired to accompany him, playing some nice sounds on the trumpet.

A male secondary school student put activities on standstill in school when he showed up with a car.

He reportedly bought a Lexus and drove to school to show it off to his friends and classmates.
