Romance › Re: A Man Who Does Not Smoke Or Drinks, Is He Considered Not To Be Man Enough? by Prestigenedu: 1:57pm On Jun 28, 2017 |
DeGuyNxtDoor: Good morning everyone, I would just head straight to the point here.
I happen to be a person who does not find smoking even the said harmless shisha fun. I hate it so much that I advice my friends to stop it when they do it in clubs. I also hate drinks as well, be it alcohol, beer or the popular kerewa hard drinks. I can at least settle down with malt as I don't take fanta, Pepsi, coke and the rest of the sugary drinks b]Now my problem is my friends, they indirectly insult me over this, even my own brother did too, saying I look too soft cos I'm not doing weed or shisha at least which is harmless, that I'm not man enough physically. Its become persistent that its starting to worry me and I just wanna hear someone say I'm doing what's right and not wrong...[/b]
I'm not tryna show/say I'm a Holy person but I just don't like it. Is this normal? Are there guys like me out there? You're not alone at all.... Stand your ground, you got nothing to loss. |

Education › Re: 10 Common Words Nigerians Use Everyday That Don't Exist by Prestigenedu: 9:38am On Apr 19, 2017 |
[quote author=ngoremeka post=55673616]Many people speak English as their first language. It is one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world. Nigerians are very good at a number of things and one of them is inventing their own version of English which has become popular overtime. Some of the words and phrases we use often cannot be found in the dictionary. Some are words you picked up from others and they have become quite a norm. It is not only the uneducated folks that are guilty of using these wrong words as the very educated Nigerians also use the English language inappropriately. Below are words Nigerians use that don’t exist in the English dictionary.
2. Disvirgin: This word is used on a daily basis by many Nigerians when they intend to say a woman has lost her virginity. There is no word like disvirgin. The correct word to use is deflower. Disvirgin simply does not exist. Number 2 is wrong, it does exist

Fashion › Re: Tattooed Lady: "I Paid N10,000 To Soldiers In Port-Harcourt For Wearing Tattoo" by Prestigenedu: 4:13pm On Apr 05, 2017 |
MrEgbegbe:
That's a big lie
The Army or Police don't give a fucck if you're tatted like Lil Wayne or Wizkhalifa
The police or Army didn't disturb people when tattoos where considered as a taboo in the 90's and early 2000, why would they give a fucck now that lawyers, Bank Managers, CEO, Army guys, Doctors all have tattoos in Nigeria
She's just naturally dumb
Why would someone tell you that there's a new law in Rivers state that bans tattoos and you decide to pay them 10k, it's just like saying that there's a law that bans wearing clothes in Rivers state
We can't take a girl who writes lives in Nigeria as "leave in Nigeria"
Ignorant lying girls
You lie! Say what you know. I have seen them beat up a guy cos he had a tattoo, they ended up using sand paper to scratch it off the guy. Senseless being, some of em. |

Did you actually notice that no one was walking on "land", but on huge pile of grass. So you think you walk on grass if there was no force or pressure pushing them against each other? hmm, please have a rethink and reason with what is possible and some some fiction or miracle. Nigerians sef... i hail una They probably cut all the grasses in Africa and poured into the river.. Lol |
