Well, if you're into wanting to solve problems & actually solving problems & creating solutions, like I said earlier, I won't mind us being friends. You're the one that is mad here. He (Charly Boy) did no wrong supporting Buhari in 2015. Now, he has seen what Buhari's government has offered & he's not satisfied & so he wants more & he wants a new person in power. What is wrong with that? He is better than you who is still holding on to a failed president Jonathan. See, our own loyalty is to the 'betterment' of Nigeria & not to any candidate. If we vote a candidate into the office of the president & he fails our expectations, we will kick him out & keep voting new people in.....until we get what's right for Nigeria. Cheers!

What exactly is it with Nigerians & stvpid comparisons? Tekno & Wikis are two different people living out their different careers & none of them ever told you that they're competing with each other.

A Nigerian Christian would call a Nigerian Muslim a religious fanatic but yet will do all the same things he's accusing the Muslim for & think it's normal. A Nigerian Muslim too will stay & be pointing fingers at a Nigerian Christian calling him/her a bigot yet he (the Muslim) will be guilty of the same basic acts.

I don't see anything wrong with vice president, Osinbajo attending his friend & colleague's daughter's wedding. It has nothing to do with religion. Afterall, I'm sure Saraki will also have honoured an invitation from Osinbajo if his (Osinbajo) children were getting married.

I have seen countless pictures of Dangote in churches ....attending weddings of his friends & associates' children too. Why didn't you bring up your bias then.

It's all friendship & humanity should be more binding to us before religion. Religion is not God. I've got several Muslim friends & they've been to church with me severally for weddings & other stuff. I've also been in a mosque. It changes nothing.. ..it's all for the love of friends.

To the best of my knowledge, Israelis are predominantly Jews (practising Judaism). Christians are an insignificant minority in Israel (< 3%), much less than Muslims (~37%). Israelis and Palestinians see Jesus only as economic messiah and not a spiritual messiah as most Christians do. They make a lot of money from Christian tourist and pilgrims (just like Saudi Arabia does with Muslims using Mecca).

My brother, I like your objective stance/views on this stuff....and I particularly like how you asked that someone should bring specific quotes from the Bible regarding this rather than just using religious bias to talk.

I'm a Christian, but I need proof & objective conversation rather than blind bias towards fellow human beings just because of religious differences.

Every body in this country speaks at least one of the 3 main languages irrespective of the so called 200 different languages that we keep hearing about when it suits political arguments but rarely ever hear. Asking soldiers to speak all 3 is unrealistic, but if all soldiers or a significant proportion of them can speak at least 2, it will help their job.


Instead of seeking to turn all Nigerians into western clones with an inferiority complex who try to speak English in a western accent despite never having left Nigeria, the country should actually be encouraging All Nigerians to learn a Nigerian language other theirs.

Well-said! Learning all 3 languages is not even unrealistic. Soldiers go for courses very very often. Using the fact that they go for courses very often, I can bet that a year to learn 1 language would be feasible....that will be 3 years for the 3 major languages.

However, even if that is too much pressure on them, no problem...the language courses can be spread out over a timeline of years.

Check my last post....I'm even of the opinion that all Nigerians should learn to speak all the 3 major languages. I don't speak any of them per se....but I grew up in the South-West, so I understand Yoruba to some extent. However, I think it would be a great idea that the federal government makes all of us, Nigerians learn & speak all 3 languages.

We have the most useless 'leaders' anywhere in the world. What the Nigerian army proposed is a VERY GREAT idea. As usual, the idiots in the national assembly who can't think beyond their short noses have thrown the idea into the dustbin.

I'm neither Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba but I've also been of the opinion that ALL Nigerians should be made to learn & speak the 3 major languages.
