This is very sad. A man is set to be buried on the day which is supposed to be one of the happiest days of his life - his wedding day. The 33-year-old man, Victor Chijioke Ezenwa, who is meant to tie the knot to his longtime girlfriend in Umunya, Oyi local government area of Anambra state on Saturday, November 11 (tomorrow) - passed away and is to be buried tomorrow at his village in Anambra state.

May his soul rest in peace.

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege representing Delta Central in the National Assembly, moved the Senate to direct the Nigerian Police authorities to reinstate one Mr. Ovuomaraini Akpemetegho to service having been unjustly dismissed about 12 years ago.

Yesterday, dressed in his police uniform, the man returned on his own to thank the lawmaker for representing him with pride.

In turn, the senator counseled him to be a good example in the Police and wished him well.

The Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita on Wednesday buried the hatchet after their rift which was caught on camera. .Both of them hugged while greeting each other just before the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari and commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the state house, Abuja.

It was reported last Wednesday that hot argument ensued between Oyo-Ita and Kyari at FEC in the presence of Osinbajo before the commencement of last week meeting.

It was suspected that the argument had to do with accusation and counter-accusation over who leaked Oyo-Ita’s report to the President on the reinstatement of the former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina.

A man identified as Enifome Davesung, who lives in Benin city, Edo state - has narrated his ordeal with some armed robbers on his return from a church program. He also revealed how he was stabbed and allegedly shot at by the men of the underworld as he escaped alive.

I decided to post this to stir up hope and strength in the heart of someone that have felt like no one seem to love or care and to say someone should join me thank God.

I went for a church program and after the program,I stood by the road waiting on a tricycle and suddenly 3 boys came out of the tricycle and robbed us of everything and I got stabbed and in the process but the most interesting part was when I stood up to leave the scene one of the armed boys shot twice at me but nothing happened to me. I can't thank God enough for his unfailing love and covenant of life.

If not for God I would have been referred to as late but here I am still standing and alive. His love never fails

Some days before that day somehow due to some happening I said father I seem alone and he reminded me with that incident that he never leaves his own and his love is sure.....

God loves u no matter what u passing through and no matter how alone u feel he is right there just hang on a little.

A man from Nembe, Bayelsa state, couldn't contain his excitement after catching this huge fish earlier today. According to him, the massive fish were caught in preparation for a delicious soup he planned on cooking as he took to his Facebook account to share photos of his "trophies".

Forty seven days after of his death, the civil servant, Salami Adekunle, who was struck to death by lightning during a downpour in Oro, Kwara, has just been given a proper burial, according to a new report by Abubakr Imam Ali-Agan. Yoruba traditional worshippers reportedly performed ritual concoctions on the deceased believing that his death was not natural as the corpse was rejected to be buried at the Muslim cemetery. .

Ahmad Kunle Abdusalam died as a result of lightening 47 days ago. Yoruba traditional worshippers performed ritual concoctions on him believing that his death was not natural. He was taken to the Muslim Cemetery to be buried after his body was rubbed with the blood of pigs and dogs

This is not acceptable in Islam we explained. A member of his family then instructed that they should take him to another cemetery where he was buried according to the traditionalists. However the deceased died as a Muslim. He must be buried according to the dictate of Islam, we insisted.

At a point we warned to stop further actions by the ritualists through some munafiqun. We were warned that if we attempt the exhumation we shall die in the process. Oh what a good way to die, we exclaimed.

We reported the matter to the authorities concerned in the state. We got permission to exhume his body. At the appointed date we were not shown the grave by his family members because they were told they will die instantly . So we opted for the prayer in absentia. Salatul gayb. Fortunately for this brother, some concerned brothers in Saudi Arabia who were following the event also conducted the prayer on him..

Still not satisfied we launched series of campaign for his exhumation. We got police permit for the exercise. To Allah be the credit for after 47 days we are able to locate his grave and we found his body intact, he was exhumed and buried according to the Islamic rites at the Muslim Cemetery Ilorin. The Prayer was witnessed by thousands of Muslims due to special radio announcement. The Prayer was led by the Chief Imam of the University of Ilorin, Prof. A.G.À.S Oladosu. An armed robber was caught by University Security Officers at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state after he and two others reportedly dispossessed a student of phones and valuables at gun point in the early hours of today.

While the other two members of the gang escaped with the gun used, the robber (who gave his name as Raymond) was caught after a hot pursuit by Security Officers.

He claimed to be a student of Architecture, a claim which was disproved after thorough interrogation.

A teenage girl simply identified as Oluchi, has been handed over to Human Trafficking Department in Police Headquarters Asaba, Delta state - after several maltreatment from her Madam. According to a report, the young girl was also sexually molested by her Madam's husband and son after she was brought from Ebonyi to Lagos to work as a maid.

She saw me few weeks ago in Summit Junction Asaba and told me she needed help to get to Ebonyi State.

I looked at her, she's a minor and asked her how she got to Asaba. She started crying. I took her bag and told her to enter the car. Drove her to a Food joint.

After an hour, Oluchi opened up and told me her story.

She was taking from her parents three years ago (Human Trafficking) from Ebonyi State and handed to a woman (Name Withheld) on a promise of better life and good Education.

Her three years living with Madam was Hell on earth. Getting to Lagos, She became the House Help and also a Pleasure for Husband and Son. Several times, she has been sexually harassed by the woman's husband and Son. Each time she refused Father and Son from sleeping with her, they will accused her of stealing will receive beating from Madam, Husband and son.

She ran away from home No .... Hassan Street Ojo Lagos.

"We were five (5) girls they brought from different locations. Madam use to give me money every month to give to a certain woman" Said Oluchi.

Oluchi unknowingly, has been paying for the money Madam bought her with three years ago.

I handed Oluchi to Human Trafficking Department in Police Headquarters Asaba and she has been in Safe hand staying with a woman that has Passion for the needy.

We got the family on phone and explained to them how we saw Oluchi in Asaba but they kept saying Bring Back the Girl let's pay you for the expenses.

Today, our Team in company of Police officers will take Oluchi back to Ebonyi state to re-unite with her Parents after three years.

We will register her in School and provide materials for learning.

A 24-year-old man, identified as Edwin Vincent from Delta state, allegedly killed his wife, Joy Michael with a machete. It was gathered that Vincent killed his wife, when she went fishing alongside their neighbour before her husband attacked her with the weapon and hacked her to death. The sad incident happened on Sunday, November 5 at Boro Camp, Kaiama, in the Kolokuma/Opukuma Local Government Area of the state.

According to reports, the shocking incident was brought to the notice of the community by a 12 year old girl, who saw the scene and alerted the indigenes.

An investigation is underway to ascertain the motive behind the murder,” according to a police statement.

A man identified as Buhari Umar who was arrested by police operatives over a "minor" offence in Delta State - was seen eating in a hospital under a chain which was used to retrain him. According to reports, Buhari who is still awaiting trial, was brought to the hospital from Ogwashi-uku prison in Delta state after he was diagnosed tuberculosis.

He was reportedly taken to the hospital with a friend who took the picture....

Police operatives in Kafanchan area of Kaduna State have arrested a young man who specialises in luring little kids in neighborhoods with sweets and biscuits. The suspect reportedly led the police to a human cargo warehouse in Gwagwalada area where another woman who buys the abducted children from him was arrested along with five other persons working for her in the house.

Over 30 kids were rescued.

Police authorities in Gwagwalada say parents and guardians should hasten to the divisional police headquarters Gwagwalada to identity their children.

Four bullet-proof vehicles have been impounded by officers of the Nigeria Customs Service, from a house in Ikoyi, Lagos. According to Mohammed Garba, the Customs Area Controller, the operation was carried out based on intelligence reports and ownership of the vehicles remains a mystery as nobody has come forward to claim the vehicles.

According to reports, other similar vehicles were also seized from car parks around Lagos.

Mohammed Garba, told reporters during parade of the seized vehicles;

“Our operatives trailed and evacuated 59 assorted vehicles from car marts in Ikoyi among of which over 40 are 2017 models ranging from Toyota Prado Jeeps, Lexus Jeeps, Toyota Hilux, Toyota Camry, Coaster Bus, Toyota Hiace Bus among others currently under detention awaiting relevant customs document from the dealers within a grace of one month,”.

“Some are even bullet-proof which require End User Certificates from the Office of the National Security Adviser, NSA.

“We removed these (Bullet Proof) vehicles from a hidden house in Ikoyi while others were gotten from a car park in FESTAC.

“Investigation will reveal further those behind the clearance of these vehicles and (they) must face the full wrath of the law.”

A Nigerian man is filled with joy after his sister gave birth to a 4.2kg baby. According to the young man, after being told of what his sister passed through before giving birth, he decided to share the news of her delivery in order to celebrate women and condemn men who take it upon themselves to beat their female partners.

Visited my favourite sister yesterday 9days after she gave birth to this beautiful angel named ANNA OBELE CELE-ELEAZAR and I was briefed about the circumstances surrounding her birth.

Stories like this are reasons why I will always celebrate women and condemn the foolishness of any mad man that beats his wife, because no reason is justifiable enough to hit a lady not to talk of your wife and mother of your children.

I was begged by my sister not to share the story but believe me, after our father in heaven, women are the next most powerful and strong. That she gave birth to a 4.2kg baby is strength and GOD.

Mother Alive, Baby Alive And Father Alive. As a family we say Thank You JESUS. My sister married the best man in the World, though he is 2nd behind me because I am the number 1 in the world.
