This is quite shameful! A Nigerian woman based in Spain, has been making the rounds online after deciding to go diabolical against her supposed rival/enemy on Facebook.

The woman identified as Laura Ben from Edo state, lashed out on another popular social media influencer from Edo, Monica Ambrose based in Netherlands. .

In a video which she posted online and even urged her followers to share, Laura can be seen making some incantations with a traditional artifact which had a small snake, keys and other fetish items on it as she said the snake will swallow Monica and all her things.

Laura who also lit a candle while she continued with her incantations and swearing - said she will deal with Monica seriously.

She said the war is between both of them and she doesn't need to buy plane ticket to meet her (Monica) in her country because she can fight her spiritually.

Efforts are being made to locate the family/relatives of a student of the Kaduna state Polytechnic who fell down from the third floor of the three(3)-storey building of Maths and Statistics Department, few days ago.

It was gathered that the student who has been identified as Emmanuel Ayuba, became unconscious moments after the fall at the Tudun Wada campus.

According to the Students' Union Government, the victim had no identity card or mobile phone on him at the time of the incident - to help reach out to his relatives or family members.

The student had since been rushed to the 44 Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna and the situation remains critical.

A young and notorious criminal who is said to have been terrorizing Umudioga community in Emohua local government area of Rivers state along with his gang members, has been arrested.

The suspect was nabbed by ONELGA Security, Planning and Advisory Committee (OSPAC) in Rivers State, after his charms which were both tied round his neck and waist - failed him.

It was gathered that a police officer and other victims were rescued after the security agents engaged the criminal gang in a battle.

According to reports, the young criminal allegedly terrorized the community by raping many ladies in the bush, robbing and kidnapping other victims.

When he was interrogated by the security operatives as can been seen in a video posted online, he revealed that the gang members always went on operation with their leaders identified as Akrekre and Oyeamuma.

A Nigerian man decided to share his chilling experience after spending four years in Russia’s Yakutia, which hosts the coldest village on Earth.

Mark Babatunde who is now enjoying his life in Yakutia, which he now calls home, shared his experience online, calling his blog: “The Northest African in the World.”

According to RT, Mark met a Yakutian girl, Natalia, when he studied in China and decided to perform a northward journey with her.Mark confessed to journalists that he was shocked when he arrived. “The cold was the worst thing. I wasn’t used to living like the people do here,” he said.

The average winter temperatures in Yakutia stand at minus 35 Celsius, while the winter lasts for a whole nine months. It’s also home to the village Oymyakon where a Guinness World Record of minus 71.2 Celsius was measured back in 1926.

Mark who adapted fast now has three kids with Natalia and a job as a teacher of Chinese and English at a school in village of Oi. His pupils absolutely adore him, saying that Babatunde is “a great teacher and person.”

Images of the alleged killers of Dr. Ferry Gberegbe, who was shot in the stomach by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), have emerged as the Rivers state government has launched an investigation into the incident.

Dr. Ferry was reportedly shot at Khana Collation Centre in Rivers, during the governorship and states assembly elections in the state on Saturday, March 9th and died a week after the gunshot, at a hospital where he was receiving treatment.

It was alleged that some security men had clashed with some youths in Bori, who had openly confronted them (security) at the collation center.

Meanwhile, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has said that the state government would inaugurate a panel to ensure that the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad personnel, who killed Dr. Ferry Gberegbe, a PDP agent in Khana Local Government Area of the state, was brought to justice.

Nigerians and other sympathizers all over the world are still mourning the death of Professor Pius Adesanmi, the Nigerian Canada based scholar who met his end in the ill-fated Ethiopian Airline that killed him and 156 others on Sunday, 10th of March, 2019.

It has been revealed how the mother of the deceased, purportedly got her visa to Canada stamped in her house after being denied thrice.

According to Sunday Akoji, a friend of the deceased and a Nigerian pharmacist based in the United States, Mama Adesanmi was denied visa to Canada to visit her son. Even after re-applying twice, her visa was still denied till her son intervened on her behalf and had her visa stamped in her house in Ilorin, Kwara state.

Once upon a time, Pius Adesanmi invited Mama Adesanmi to come visit him in Canada. That was not to be because she was denied a visa to go visit her son.

Pius and Mama were sad, however that didn’t deterred Mama from reapplying for the visa after a six months waiting period. Again she was denied!

Mama reapplied a third time for a visa to Canada and was denied. She then told Pius that she will visit him in Canada on one condition : “If the Canadian high commission comes to her house at Ilorin and stamp her passport with the visa.” Mama was simply saying she is done with the effort of obtaining a visa to Canada after three denials.

And it came to pass, that the Department of Foreign Affairs invited Pius as a guest speaker for an event. Trust Pius not to waste an opportunity to vent when one presents itself. He reluctantly accepted the speaking engagement. After his lecture the Oga at the top in charge of all High Commissioners went to Pius to give him kudos for a job well done. During the tete-a-tete, Pius told the Oga that he is unable to understand why his mother was denied visa to come and visit him.

Three days after the event in Toronto, a dark, heavily tinted SUV with a diplomatic plate number pulled up in front of Mama Adesanmi’s house at Ilorin. The Canadian High Commissioner sent his aides who drove all the way from Lagos to Ilorin to go and stamp Mama Adesanmi’s passport with a visa to Canada in her living room, with a letter of apology personally signed by the High Commissioner.

That was how Mama’s prophesy came to pass and the people who denied her visa three times, brought the visa to her house, even when she didn’t apply for a visa.

As Chinua Achebe puts it, “If a child washes his hands he could eat with kings." Pius was cool like that!

How do we console Mama Adesanmi? How?!!!! How do we console Mama and make her come to the realization that her only son who dines with the Ogas at the top who made it possible for her visa to be stamped in her living room, was among the 157 souls that perished on Sunday last week when the ill fated Ethiopian Airlines Flight #302 plunged to the earth 6 minutes after takeoff?

Residents of Awka, the capital city of Anambra state, were left shocked after a young lady reportedly ran mad and went totally unclad in public earlier today.

According to some witnesses who couldn't vividly give account of what happened to the 'troubled' lady, it was gathered that she started her displays of madness at Regina road in the metropolis.

A viral video posted online shows the moment the lady displayed some mental signs while totally unclad on the street as residents who tried to identify her claimed that her phone and bag were collected from her.

The footage was shared online in a bid to help locate her family/relatives or anyone who knows her.

Here are pictures of the victims who were killed in the school building collapse which happened at Itafaji area of Lagos Island on Wednesday, March 13th.

Over 20 residents including pupils of a Nursery/Primary School operating within the building lost their lives while tens of others were rushed to different hospitals on Lagos Island on Wednesday.

A young and vibrant lady identified as Orekoya Temitope Adeshewa was among those who didn't survive the tragedy.

It was gathered that Temtiope was brought out of the rubble around 6:24pm on Wednesday and was still breathing when she was rescued. She was rushed to General hospital, where she gave up the ghost.

Ibrahim Alabi Eleshin, Kazeem, Abdulbasit, are among victims who died in the building collapse and have been buried according to Islamic rites.

President Muhammadu Buhari's son, Yusuf, today, completed his mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

The president son received his NYSC discharge certificate earlier today in Abuja as he showed it off in a video recorded in Aso Rock. He reportedly served at the orientation camp in Kubwa, Abuja.

Yusuf commenced the NYSC programme two years after graduating from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.

He joined the scheme 11 months after he had a bike accident in Abuja that left him with a head injury.

A man was almost lynched to death yesterday afternoon after he was allegedly caught while trying to use a little boy of about 6-years old for rituals in Delta state.

According to reports, the young man who claims to be an internet fraudster popularly known as 'Yahoo boy', pretended to be mentally unstable in order to carry out the nefarious act in Sapele area of the state.

It was gathered that he was apprehended while trying to use/blow powder (which had cowries round it) on the boy in a bid to hypnotize him.

The suspect was immediately captured and beaten mercilessly by the mob. It was revealed that during the beating, the young man was making some incantations for reasons best known to him, before he was stabbed in the chest with a sharp object.

The police later came to his rescue as the suspect was dragged to a station in the area for further interrogation.

There was confusion on Monday after a young lady was dropped off by an unknown driver in a GLK Benz in Warri, Delta state.

It was gathered that the yet-to-be identified lady couldn't talk or identify herself after being dropped off yesterday in Ajamimogha road in Warri area, thereby sparking rumours that she might have been used for money rituals.

According to online reports, the residents were notified by a road side sweeper who saw her while being dropped off.

The pretty lady just sat by the roadside as shocked residents gathered in their numbers and surrounded her while urging her to talk.

It is alleged that the lady lost her memory as she sat mute in public without uttering a word as can be seen in the video below. Efforts are being made to locate her family or friends.

There was commotion at Lagos garage in Ijebu-ode, Ogun State on Monday, March 11th, when suspected Aiye (Egede) and Eiye cult groups clashed leaving three people dead.

According to reports, the bloody clash broke out few hours after the emergence of All Progressive Congress, APC Governorship candidate, Dapo Abiodun as winner.

It was learnt that the clash was fueled with the supremacy of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) leaders at the garage, the group ‘Eiye’ believed to be supporters of the incumbent Governor and Akinlade, the candidate of APM in the Governorship Election that held last Saturday was in control of the garage before the election.

While the group supporting Dapo Abiodun ‘Aiye’ and also called Efele’s boys took to street in view to reclaim their position after their candidate ‘Dapo’ has been declared winner.

The killings was believed to be the retaliation of their members killed before the election.

During the hour of the clash, the military men arrived and calmed the situation.

This is new. A suspected thief who decided to improvise a new way to avoid detection is currently cooling his heels in police custody after he was caught with a stolen goat meat strapped to his body.

According to reports, the man who is said to hail from Maasai, Kenya, allegedly stole a goat and slaughtered it. He split the animal into two from the backbone and tied the parts to his body like an inner cloth/vest.

In a trending video making the rounds online, after he was apprehended following his suspicious movement, he was forced by the police to remove his clothes that had the meat concealed underneath.

Many internet users have been left shocked following the suspect's new method of stealing.
