A woman has landed in coma after she was reportedly brutalised by a policeman in Ikorodu area of Lagos.

Information gathered has it that the woman and the policeman had a disagreement - which led to the man assaulting the lady in public as others looked on.

The woman was beaten mercilessly and wounded in the process before she was rushed to the hospital where she is said to be in critical condition.

Media consultant John Wesley shared pictures of the assault and is seeking justice for the unconcious victim.

A young lady was allegedly beaten and left seriously injured for 'dressing improperly to church' in Taraba state, according to a Facebook report.

Victor T Injoh who shared the report online - claimed that the lady identified as Faith Ishaku of Taraba State Polytechnic, was allegedly assaulted by church officials during morning service on Sunday, April 14th, for not purportedly dressing properly to church.

Internet users reacting to the report feel that there might be more to the story and that the lady in question may have provoked the church officials after being rebuked over her dressing.

The Federal University of Technology Owerri, (FUTO) in Imo state, has been hit with tragedy again following the death of another student.

Master Eleodichukwu Chukwuenyem, a 100L student of Surveying & Geo-informatics department who hails from Aguata local government area, Anambra State, slumped in front of Hostel C. within the campus.

According to Infoscope Media, an eyewitness revealed that the student just slumped in front of the hostel and was taken to the hospital where he was confirmed dead by the nurses.

The nurses reportedly revealed that there was a delay from when the student slumped to when he was rushed to the school's medical center as it was gathered that a group of students decided take pictures of the student who collapsed instead of rushing him to the clinic.

The remains of the deceased is currently at FUTO Medical center.

This is coming two days after a final year student was said to have passed away and weeks after the institution (FUTO) was rocked by a sex romp saga which saw three students of Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Imo State, and a lady dead.

A young man was mobbed after he was nabbed for steal female panties in Anambra State. According to reports, the suspect identified as Umeh Ifeanyi from Awalasi Uga - went to Ezinifite area to steal some pants, female underwear for reasons best known to him but was caught in the process.

The suspect was stripped off his clothes, beaten by the community youths as they paraded him in public.

This is coming months after an angry mob descended on a man who was caught stealing panties and bras among other items in Anambra state.

The young man was apprehended with the stolen items in Azia, Ihiala local government area and was beaten mercilessly by the villagers.

The corpse of a Benue State University (BSU) student that drowned yesterday has been recovered. The victim, Adekole Christopher’s corpse was found at the river bank, while the body of Emmanuella Mson is yet to be found.

It was gathered that Emmanuella, a 100 level medical student and the only child of her parents drowned alongside Adekole (100L student of Computer Science) - on Friday evening beside BSU water works, an area close to the river.

According to reports, the students had visited the area on grounds of playing football and to enjoy the cool weather at the riverside before the sad incident happened. The students who were reportedly five in number left the school premises without informing the school management through the security unit.

The University management has launched a search and rescue operation to find the other missing student. Nigeria Marine police Benue State command has also joined the search team.

Students of the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT), Rivers state, left some of their colleagues scared following their induction which happened today.

The 100 level students were made to dress traditionally as native doctors in white and red attire as they were formally welcomed into the creative department.

The ceremony which continued to later this evening, saw the Theatre Arts students continue the induction with candles, as they caused a scene within the campus.

A staunch supporter of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has released bedroom pictures of himself and his wife - in a bid to show support for the pro-Biafran group leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who made headlines yesterday over a viral romantic video with his wife.

The IPOB member identified as Victor Stan revealed that he decided to share pictures from his honeymoon after "haters" tried to shame his 'master' Nnamdi Kanu over the trending video.

In the video, the IPOB leader who is currently in London, can be seen relaxing with his half-naked wife on the bed as she filmed both of them together.

Mrs. Kanu also showed off her body in her underwear in front of the camera as the couple enjoyed the romantic moment together.

Pioneers of women’s football development in the country have been eulogized for their commitment to raising the standard of the game. The Minister of Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung praised the women’s football pioneers when he received a FIFA delegation on the Women’s World Cup trophy tour in his office on Thursday in Abuja.

He welcomed the FIFA team comprising Sarai Bareman, Nichole Fisch, Venessa Marques and FIFA Legend Osaze Peter Odemwingie to the Nigeria leg of the Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour and remarked that no country on the African continent can appreciate the significance of the FIFA Women’s World Cup more than Nigeria.

The Women’s World Cup trophy is on a tour of all 24 countries qualified to participate at the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup finals taking place in nine cities in France, 7th June – 7th July this year.

Report has it that a mother of three children, simply known as Toyin died mysteriously this morning in Akure, Ondo state capital - in a suspected case of money ritual.

According to an eyewitness, two local pots and some fetish items were found beside her where she died inside her room located at Tipper's garage, Isikan area of Akure.

The mysterious death was said to have caused panic among the residents who trooped into the house to catch a glimpse of the dead woman.

The police has evacuated the corpse as at the time of filing this report and investigation into the matter reportedly underway.

The identity of the Nigerian lady who was killed in Italy over sex performance, has been revealed. The deceased identified as Blessing Benedicta Daniels but popularly known as Anita, a Nigerian sex worker in Italy, was murdered Leopoldo Scalici, 40, for failing to satisfy him.

According to Italian website, Modena Today, Scalici approached Benedicta on the streets of Modena Nord for sex over the weekend. He loaded her on board the van on which he was travelling to reach a secluded place where they were believed to have had sex.

Benedicta was reportedly killed after the duo had had sexual intercourse and an argument had broken out, which led to Scalici hitting the Nigerian prostitute with a heavy object on the face and head.

It was however speculated that Scalici hit Benedicta because he wasn’t satisfied sexually.

Italian police have detained Scalici, after he voluntarily confessed to the crime.

A young man couldn't be happier after a posionous snake which invaded his residence, was caught, killed and used to prepare a meal.

According to Benjamin who hails from Enugu state, the reptile invaded his house by 12.14am today and was spotted on time before it could wreck any havoc.

The snake was immediately captured by the young man with the help of his brothers.

That did not end there as the boys turned the snake into a meal after killing it. It was used to prepare a "sumptous" meal of pepper soup.

Tension has been brewing between two Hausa actresses for some days now following accusation of lesbianism being labelled by one against the other.

Kannywood actress, Amina Muhammad, popularly known as Amina Amal, was said to have accused her colleague in the industry, Hadiza Gabon of lesbianism.

Amina who is a Cameroonian-born actress, was recently criticised over her attire which exposed parts of her body. After the backlash, she took to social media to gave a sound warning to her colleague whom she accused of being a bad person..

According to the actress, the accused person who loves being percieved as a good person by the public - has skeletons in her cupboard. She accused her colleague of lesbianism as she shared screenshots of their purported chat.

Hadiza Gabon who felt the accusations were directed at her, later confronted Amina yesterday and beat her over the issue which has been trending online.

Friends and colleagues have taken to social media to mourn the death of a vibrant young man who was killed recently by kidnappers in Aba, Abia state.

According to reports, the deceased identified Prince Iyke survived attack by gunmen last year only to be gunned down two days ago in Aba.

It was gathered that the deceased was based in Ghana and decided to return to Nigeria where he met his end in the unfortunate circumstance.

A close friend of the deceased wrote on Facebook;

I was away intervening for people who are not my blood, didn't know you needed my intervention the most. Am sorry I couldn't save you bro. Is my fault. The car you called for price is still available. All the plans for a greater tomorrow has been cut short by some Nigerians who derives pleasure by taking other people's lives.

Your death has taught me a lesson, a hard one 'TO BE CLOSER TO HOME'
