The thing is, she is given the condition that the ex, she has a child for, will still be seeing her and the child, that she can not deny the guy his child...
SMH... she's already giving you conditions regarding her ex when you're yet to marry her, what do you think will happen when you put a ring on it huh Know that the father of the kid will always be in the picture, and also involved with the mother, both sexually and emotionally. Is that something you want to get yourself in??

Forget all these talks about single mothers being caring and knowing what they want, all na wash. She's just being calculative and manipulative, trying to tie you down with her best behavior to be the provider for her and her kid.

Bro, life is simple enough, don't complicate by involving yourself in such entanglements.

Ask yourself, if she's not good enough for the guy who impregnated her to marry, why should it be you that'd take care of her and another man's spawn.

Use your head!

Not all retired oloshos looks rugged or haggard. Some of them are blessed with this homely and Innocent look and they In turn took care of their body very well. Some might even be looking more holier than sister mary after their hoeing phase. You will surely meet a handful of them In Church and Mosques. It Is when you guys get to TANGLE everything will burst lol because that hole doesn't really tell lies no matter the care or control damage done to It. It can never go back to It Original State. "But Generally It's very easy to Spot a Retired or Pretending Olosho when you meet One" Understand the other Gender and have peace of mind....
Please how do you spot them?

Lol, its easier said than done. When you know the woman you are sending your hard earned money to is sleeping around while you labor in the cold, how can you have peace of mind?
You're assuming that the guy is spending those cold nights alone, right?

Better start accepting it because it's becoming the reality now. Young guys getting married but leaving the wives here in Nigeria while they they travel to hustle in the abroad.

I don't understand the rationale behind it but apparently most men hate it,my dad's friend wife built a very big house in her father's compound without informing her husband,he found out and I can tell you in the last 4yrs,him and his wife are less than room mates,he's even considering marrying another woman,he doesn't touch his woman and doesn't care about anything she does. This man was the one who put his wife in school, found her the government work she's presently doing and still buys everything in the house, foot all the bills regarding his children and siblings but his wife built a house without telling him and still lied about it.

He just gave up on her,I really don't understand the big deal about it but apparently it hurts the man's ego
Can you actually listen to yourself?

Please read what you wrote there, this time slowly, and tell me if there was any level of betrayal greater than this.

You mean he brought her up from the gutter, brushed her up and made her somebody, and that's his recompense? And you're here talking about ego.

If you have a brother and he falls into such a situation, I hope you tell him it's all in his head and that he should clip his male ego since there's no big deal about it. Damn!

Now I'm beginning to see reason for why the redpill is taking root

Sounds like a master slave relationship. He does what he wants, she does too. But he has more rights than her, to the extent he can take the children for her. No wonder westerners had to even such rights out with their laws

Good luck to him and his wife and their open relationship. If she's wise, she should get divorced and get another man who aligns with her ideal of marriage. One sided marriage is never good.
Lol... You make me laugh

How many men, especially the well-to-do ideal men, do you think would want to align with such a woman - single mother and divorcee in Nigeria of today?

There are enough single ladies to go round than to get involved in single mother dramas.

Those women know what they signed up to and are privy to the fact that they're becoming Naija-based wife before the marriage, hence no biggie. Their own is to stay back here and enjoy the dollar-fueled goodlife

That's the question I've been trying to get the answers to also.

Domestic duties like Taking care of the home and kids, cooking meals for the family and ensuring there's love and peace in the family is now termed slavery by Nigerian women.

Imagine advising married couples to live separately and even not considering the wife's opinion but treating her like a child who has to stay put the way you decide she should. A good husband will always consider his wife's well-being, her feelings, whether she feels lonely or not in his absence, her sexual gratification, her need for company etc. Let me not start with the children who only get to see their fathers for 1-3 months a year.

Your kind of mentality is why many married people suffer and smile. It's not the place you choose to reside or not reside, it's the kind of attitude you people think is normal. With this kind of mentality you should never get married in the first place.
It's either you don't know what is going on or you deliberately chose to ignore it.

We call them Our Nigerian Wives grin

There are so many girls hustling to marry abroad based husband's, that they'll agree to even be their Naija-based wife because they know that the guy is married abroad to a foreigner for papers. We have a trad wedding in which in my villa, the guy came in the evening with so much security and they prevented people from taking pictures.

I don't doubt that guy's story because I've seen too many cases to mention. The guys build a duplex in the village or rent flat in the city where they house the Naija wife and kids. They come back every 1-2 years, impregnate and travel back to base in Europe or America

Yes u can be average and contented while some refuse that contentment and explore further. risk is risk, take some[/s].
You're smiling and happy, but there are many out there that are confused, depressed and contemplating their life because of the promises you made them that never got fulfilled, and based on said promises, they invested their life savings and even borrowed to top-up the investment hoping for their own day to smile and cash-out, just as you are today, but Alas! Their timing was all wrong because, they entered when the system was saturated and over bloated and ready to implode.

What are they supposed to do now to get paid? Get more investors whose money will be used to pay them and you, because that's how the system operates, not by creating value but by taking from Peter to pay Paul. But, there are no more new investors because confidence level is low and why should they come in when those inside the system are trying to come but still can't.

grin adding those names can trigger suicide to some investors. I saw someone on Instagram who invested 4.5 m into a venture called CRMi. And the company closed shop.
Which one is CRMi? People will always be gullible, and I think ignorance due to the poor emphasis on financial literacy in our schools is a contributory factor. If not, how do we keep falling victims for these schemes that are all basically the same but differ in name only? Tomorrow, a new investment package will still be launched and the same group of people will troop in without asking questions on how they're creating value.

People have huge sums of money lying fallow and have no idea what to do with it, hence are prime targets of these charlatans masquerading as 'investors'

"Once upon a time, lived a lot of monkeys near a remote village.

One day a very rich merchant came to the village to buy these monkeys! He announced at the village market square that he will buy the monkeys at $100 each. passers by villagers thought the merchant to be insane. They thought how can a reasonable person buy stray monkeys at $100 each?
Yet, some smart ones caught some monkeys and gave it to this merchant and he gave $100 for each monkey.
This news spread like wildfire and people caught monkeys and sold it to the merchant.

After a few days, the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys at $200 each. The lazy villagers also ran around to catch the remaining monkeys!

They sold the remaining monkeys at 200 each. Then the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys at 500 each!

The villagers start to lose sleep! ... They caught six or seven monkeys, which was all that was left and got 500 each.

The villagers were waiting anxiously for the next announcement.

Then the merchant announced that he is going home for a week. And when he returns, he will buy monkeys at 1000 each!

He asked his employee to take care of the monkeys he bought.

He was alone taking care of all the monkeys in a cage. The merchant went home.

The villagers were very sad as there were no more monkeys left for them to sell it at $1000 each.

Then the employee told them that he will sell some monkeys at 700 each secretly.

This news spread like fire. Since the merchant buys monkey at 1000 each, there is a 300 profit for each monkey.

Now guess what! The next day, villagers made a queue near the monkey cage. The employee sold all the monkeys at 700 each. The rich bought monkeys in big lots. The poor borrowed money from money lenders and also bought monkeys!

The villagers took care of their monkeys & waited for the merchant to return.

But nobody came! ... Then they ran to the employee...

But he has already left too!

The villagers then realized that they have bought the useless stray monkeys at 700 each and unable to sell them!"

Copied from the Monkey business folktale.

Interesting tale bro..

We can actually substitute the characters to match the situation at hand.

Let's say,

The Merchant is Maxwell Odum

The Employee is Airsaylongcon

The villagers were M.B.A forex Investors who literally spent ~$1000 to buy monkeys.

Here you have it and that'll will make an interesting tales by moonlight, if only people will learn the lesson therein.

After the denial phase comes the anger phase when they vent out and rant at the world and every other person but themselves for what happened.

Then comes the phase of acceptance and moving forward because the deed has been done and life goes on.

Then by next year, another new, shiny investment scheme will be launched with promises too good to be true and same set of people will still go and invest their money....

The cycle continues, it's the circle of life
