Hmmmmm..
So I finally felt first hand what it is to write GRE, wrote today in Abuja.
It was all it is said to be, same scenario with the Ets power prep mock test I used to practice, did just once.
All I can say is that I joked with my preparations. The greatest thing that worked against me is the timing. So up coming test takers please practice with time. My results ain't that what I expected, definitely gonna re write. And this time no more distractions. Will post my complete result when I get the official result including my analytical.
Thanks everyone for encouraging me to take this bold step. Gre actually scares the hell outta me.

I like that you have woken up to reality, you cannot stay with your parents forever. I don't know how old you are or your educational background. Truth is Abuja is not a bed of roses (at least like it used to be.. Lol)
Having said that, Move! No fear, you will survive. Accommodation is the biggest issue here but if you have money that can get you accommodation, no matter how little, then don't think twice, move! I'd advice you move now, before the year runs out. So you you can familiarize with the Abuja environment and start looking our for jobs, know what it takes to survive, make friends etc. It is a general knowledge that at the beginning of the every year new job opportunities sprangs up. So get to know the city and start applying before the beginning of the year. Hope this helps

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is a parastatal of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources established by Decree 25 of 1973 for the purpose of developing and promoting petroleum technology and for creating the manpower needs of the oil and gas industry through research and training of Nigerians.

Please house which cable TV has a cheaper subscription besides gotv. I want to switch to another cable TV as gotv is really messed up. Always searching for signal and sometimes some channels will go off for days and weeks.

Dunno really, but you can get a longer pole and raise your gotv antenna. In most cases that's what causes what you just said. Get the antenna higher in the air and out of the way of telecom masts.
