Religion / Re: Who Are The 3 Best Teachers Of The Scripture In Nigeria? by Priceless200(f): 12:52pm On Apr 10, 2017
Best 'TEACHER' of the word is Chris Oyakilome.... To me he's gat no equal and the worst teacher is TB Joshua. . .... This is my own observation

Nb: I am a proud winner/Catholic.
I am just being realistic and unbiased, meanwhile, I can't call Papa Oyedepo a bad teacher of the gospel, but I sure enjoy mama faith teachings more than his. (All these are my opinion oo)

Go to Facebook, search FIN, (get someone who is already a member to add you to the group) and table this before them. You will receive more practical advice there.

But my own humble opinion is ; once abuse, especially physical enters a marriage it hardly stops. And most times it leads to far more worst situations. Let her leave the marriage, might not be outright divorce, just a break you know. Even unmarried couples do give themselves break sometimes. Just to recalculate and revalue.

Who is still watching King of hearts.?
They are just twisting and twisting and twisting the story. Haba naa. Another manav and Achana(Rich version) immediately they defeat an obstacle in the way of their happy marital bliss another one will show up, pains me that they always drag poor DD into it all the time. The woman have seen real pain.

But why does Raghnav have to be this old naa, the Lil boy that gave Camla's daughter a pen that caused big problem then abi, e no too senior the girls naa, why can't they use 'Yash' or 'sid' sef. Lol

Now abeg I Wan ask, How long does pregnancy lasts in the land of 'King of Heart' .? Rachna became pregnant even before Abhi and Pragya married, they have celebrated more than one year together, she is still pregnant, Mbok. Wetin I know naa.

Guess na only me dey watch 'Sands of time' here, so let me not rant about it. Have a blessed new month come tomorrow.

Travel / Re: Contemplating Relocating To Lagos (from US)- Advice? by Priceless200(f): 6:29pm On Mar 30, 2017
OP seems, you ve made up your mind about where to relocate to, I would have advised you relocate to Abuja first, at least for the meantime. That city have all the sanity and environment to accommodate new entrants especially those coming in from outside Nigeria so far you have your money to rent house especially and by some instance a car too.
Business thrives well in Abj (not so sure about getting a job) and there are well more radio houses in Abj than you can think of.

Generally, I would advice you to have a well mapped out plan towards income.(job or business)
If you do, then you have no single problem, you will so enjoy Nigeria eehh.
Welcome in advance.

thanks!
to be sincere, its fear of unknown that has been holding me here.
I am processing admission for a year course in a college in US, an alumni who have spoke with the admission officer is recommending me (my uncle precisely). the admission will come God willing, I will pay the fees, prepare myself and ensure I get the Visa.
where my fear lie is after that 1 year, I will become illegal immigrant. though I know many have crossed through this path, I will like to have idea of what steps can change illegal to legal.

Check this thread. [General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 11 - Travel - Nigeria] is good, have a look at it! https://www.nairaland.com/3586207/general-u.s.a-student-visa-enquiries-part

Travel / US Students, Professionals And Residents In General, Let's Talk by Priceless200(f): 12:42pm On Mar 27, 2017
This Thread is for US residents(students, working class, etc) of Nigeria origin.

Tell us your story, how you got to US, how is life in the US, is it a blessing or nah, do you wanna come back or nah.

Give practical advice to your brothers/sisters down in Nigeria who are earnestly aspiring to migrate to US.

Give hints like on rewarding careers in the US, how to prepare while in Nigeria and infact anything that will help.

Also hint us about the American cultures, foods, marriage and relationship, sociaI life etc.

#Note: Indians and Chinese folks are everywhere in America, the have forums like this where they help each other migrate. And the result is very obvious globally. Let's help one another. Thanks.

Firstly these girls are not Nigerians, (was not mentioned anywhere on the net, secondly United have responded to this and cleared the air that that particular flight is for some group of people, (their employees or something like that) and their guests and there's a dressing norm for this class of people. So yes, learn to report constructively.

Ok these are a few ideas you can build on

First snack can be - cereal like Cheerios that can be chewed without necessarily adding milk; or biscuits like hob nobs that are more of fiber than sugar with freshly squeezed juice ie orange or pineapples or a few chunks of watermelon or tangerine or banana

Lunch can be - plantain/sweet potato/yam/Irish potatoes - boiled or fried with eggs or flaked fish sauce
Jollof/fried rice with chicken/meat/ fish

Sandwiches- the spread can be jam, butter, peanut butter, chocolate spread etc accompanied with a boiled egg

Spaghetti with minced meat sauce

White rice and stew with fried plantain

Noodles with vegetables and chicken

Beans and plantain

Let's build on these for now
Thank you so much dear. I will sure work with these. God bless you
