maynation:You have forgotten that rats chased Buhari out of his office. |
A lot of people have sex. The dirtiest, neatest, richest, poorest, ugly, and beautiful have had sex or still have sex. There is nothing special or boastful about having had sex. It means you have stooped so low to some people's level to show them your unclothedness. To me, every virgin can boast of not being defiled, and it's a thing of pride. It's a shame today that people boast of body counts but when you call them public toilet, they get offended while in fact, that is what they are. |
800k Boss? |
850k? Though I am not in Lagos. |
MadeINchenzen2:Trust me, my parents will always be my priority. Even if I am being paid to care for you, when my parents need the same care at the same time, I won't hesitate to abandon you for them. |
MadeINchenzen2:Height of ignorance! And you think care is all about the money? Or possibly you have no intention to grow old. At old age, take it or leave it, you will need to be cared for. You certainly will not have the strength to do the things you used to do before. If you think money can take the place of your own children's love and care, then I feel very sorry for you. The sacrifices your own children will make for you, money can not buy. Also, I hope you also do consider what happens when you don't get rich as you opined. I don't know what triggered this thinking in the subject, but surely it's evil in every form. With thoughts like this, I fear we are gradually heading to an era where neither the Child nor the Parent will care about each other. We already see it happening with abandoned kids around, and trust me in no time, even the elderlies will have no one, not even their children to care for them. Indeed, the world is changing, and it is changing for the very worst. Terrible times are really ahead!!! |
MadeINchenzen2:My friend stop that thing you are smoking. If your parents need care, you are obligated to provide that care if you have the capacity. Parents and people generally become dependent at old age, and most times look up to their children for financial, material, and emotional support. Just as you were their responsibility when you were a child, they also become your responsibility when they grow old. Abu na me you want to come take of your own parents? Please, I have my own parents to look after. Go and look after yours. |
I am interested in this car. Any fixes to be made? is it factory AC and is it still working? |
I offer 1m. |
emmasoft:How can I invest in this VGIF mutual fund sir? I have a million naira that I want to invest. |
American spec
|
Japanese spec
|
I saw a post on nairaland that got me confused. I learnt that the American spec of the Civic has parts more readily available than the Japanese counterpart. I want to know how true that is before going ahead with the purchase. The pics are attached below. First is the Japanese spec, and second American spec. |
umbo:Many thanks Sir. Will try to do that. |
I am about to pay for a Nigeria used Honda Civic 2007. The owner said car is in good shape and only issue is the AC compressor. Should I be worried about the AC not working, can it be fixed, and how much will it cost me to fix? Are there other things I need to check in the car or questions I I should ask? This is going to be my first car. I almost paid for a benz C240 recently but had to back out of the deal. How much do you think is good price for a Nigeria used Civic 2007 with over 200k mileage? |
First class Simp |
Can I get the C240? |
Any likely repairs? |
This will be interesting. Want to get my first car with a budget of not more than a million naira, but I am scared as hell. Would like learn from others experience. Following... |
How much come be DC? This advert at that price go last well... Nobody with value for money will buy a Naija used 2004 EOD for even 700k, except it's extremely clean as toks. Even at that it will be difficult when DCs are going around 700k and 800k for locally used. |
I keep hearing Almajiri school...do those kids even know what a school is... |
heard the headlamp of the FX cost well over 200k. Don't know how true. It's a rugged car but parts are very pricey and scarce.. The Corolla on the other hand may have good fuel economy, but very prone to theft. The AC for that model are very susceptible to failure, and suspension isn't that durable. Road handling ain't great if you are a frequent Traveller. Just choose your preferred headache and take paracetamol or extra Panadol. |
woodrow:Waoooh...many thanks. |
KINGreignn:So which would you recommend instead? |
buygala:Thanks. What's your opinion on fuel efficiency and long term durability between the two cars? |
revilomichaels:The difference in fuel consumption between the 406 and DC, is it significant or negligible? I love the interior design of the DC more, however I still feel the 406 manual is more rugged and durable. I don't intend to use and sell off, I want a car that I can keep and still drive after several years and look at and say, this is the car I started with. I fear the DC may not look too good in shape in the long run. |
This will be my first car. Need a car that is fuel efficient and durable. Which would you suggest? I know Corolla is fuel efficient but has less power compared to the 406 and DC. Also I don't want a car that would give me unnecessary hypertension as the Corolla is prone to theft. I know Corolla is fuel efficient but has less power compared to the 406 and DC. Also I don't want a car that would give me unnecessary hypertension as the Corolla is prone to theft. Modified Many thanks for your inputs... After reviewing your comments in addition to more research. I have decided not to go for either cars. I will be settling for the 2005 C230 Kompressor instead. I do hope I have a good experience with it. |
You guys are always so quick to bash our Naija babes. It was clear stated that they are from Niger... |
Fentanyl:But my brother, the complaints are too serious to be ignored. Except those complaints are false. |
obisite:Someone once said he sold his muscle for 850k. I have seen one for 1m on nairaland here but had gear issues. People were even pricing the car for less still. It seems I have to look at a different direction now. I think the Avalon 2006-2009 will be a better buy now. |
Na waooh...these comments are scary. Which do you think is a better alternative for a car in that category. |
