so it's already out while some stupid nimcompoop told me that it'll be out by next week.

it really surprises me when peeps with scores of 75 and 58 respectively re being ambivalent on their scores on whether they will still make it into the merit list while such scores re sure way in some unis like uniben. Peeps wid 75 and 58 going for mbbs and mechanical engineering respectively will be no 1 in uniben's admission list .



Anyway, admission list will likely be out next week but one sure thing is that the COC form is coming out next week from a reliable source.

N.B: For those that will likely go for the COC, pls try to know the UME carrying quota for the course u wanna opt in for. For example, Mechanical and Electrical engineering are 32 and 33 respectively while MBBS is 104. So choose wisely.


Hoping to see u all in the best UNI so far despite their short comings which I think they will actually compensate us for when we finally get into the system.


Also, to those that didn't beat the cut off like myself, u can equally see this as an oppurtunity to brace up urself in school so as to make the best grade so far and switch to ur desired course cos it's feasible if only u'll be pertinacious. Whats 70/100 and u'll be given a distinction, so first class is much easier if only u'll dare pay the price and sacrifice all that will be needed for the feat.



If others believe themselves and hit the record, we can as well hit it real big. I can see myself already in department of mechanical engineering by faith.

going by last yr's procedures, it took 12 good days for UI to release their merit list which was on 30th Oct, 2013 while the cut off came out on 18th.







Lets just hope and pray that things turn out for good for us.

Going by last year, UI released cut off alongside with COC bt this time around, they just released only the cut off ni. Will COC apply dis year.

Help desk never gree answer my ticket since morning fa or e be lyk say they re also confuse.




I rest all to God, even if ah dnt get mech eng, by His grace, I cn go in with physics or maths and then switch over to mech eng with 7.0 cgpa

No need to laugh or doubt over the bolded cos ah knw dat His grace is upon me and if others did it, I can equally do it.

releasing of the merit list settles the scores here.






Who knows, I might be in the merit list.

Catchment and ELDs is being considered bt they re nt admission officers

oluafolabi: 1) Yes I'm a medical student. 2) It's all about risk. But if you can't risk it, I'd advise you to do COC and pick mathematics. I have a friend that crossed from maths to petroleum engineering 3) The COC should commence soon, I think. 4) Those that do COC, their names will probably come out in the 2nd list. 5) I have answered that in (2). 6) I'm not so sure about that.

Dapo777: Ok So can u explain to me how a 200l mbbs Dat scored 63% wen d cutoff was 65% gained admission? What happend in her own case,she is a friend of mine,and she told me herself that her admission into mbbs surprised her.

oluafolabi: And I say stop spitting rubbish. This is my best advise for y'all; anyone that's still like 1 or 2 marks below the cutoff can still risk it (if you are lucky maybe). If you are beyond that once the change of course portal is opened I'd advise to change to a course that will give you higher chance of admission. For those of you still interested in doing medicine, I'd advise to pick courses like Biochemistry, Physiology , Human Nutrition and Chemistry. You have a very good chance of crossing to medicine in your 200 lvl if you have a good cgpa. If you choose any other course apart from the ones I listed you won't be able to cross. I repeat, UI doesn't do the ELDS and CATCHMENT sh.it this guy is propagating, do what's best for you. UI goes strictly by her cutoff.

2. Mechanical engineering is 60 but I got 58, is dia any means of being in the merit list.
3. When is the COC likely to commence.
4. Those that did COC, will they do clearance the same time with those in the merit list.
5. Which course do I need to swerve to which will make my crossing over to mechanical engineering department feasible
6. If one does COC and there is still space in his desired course, will he still be given his desired course.

U stand a beta chance getting ur course under two criteria, 1) Catchment(since every state is UI's catchment area. 2) ELDS(cos kogi, Ebonyi, and all d northern states are ELDStates! U hv a double chance dan odas! Life is abt risk! So take d risk, believe in ur 76! MBBS wld be urs!

the questn now is, does UI do both ELDs and catchment.
